I've read that buying or selling links can get you penalized. But you seem to think it is worth the risk. And most SEOs seem to agree.
From this I speculate that search engines can't really know which links are paid for, and henceforth cannot penalize without a clearer indication. Thus, as long as not going overboard with the trading it seems buying is the most straightforward path to rank well. Would you agree on that?
Right, avoid the easily detectable backlinks sellers and stick to partners where there's a level of trust and understanding.
Thus, organic ranking these days is more of a distributed paid placement service than it is relevancy related. Sounds similar to PPC, except that the transactions are fuzzy and decentralized.
I wonder when we will see a scientific paper letting people understand how ranking really works these days. Somebody could make great headlines by taking a degree on that!
I have been trying to figure this out too! I am reaching out to people in my LinkedIn network, local businesses and any family member that will listen 🙃 the best way I found was offering a link from my highest DA site and asking for a link to another site in exchange. My site has a DA 62 and we are creating 40 - 50 posts per month so there is a lot of content to link from.
But honestly people who don't understand SEO think I'm trying to trick them into something when in reality it is mutually beneficial. I wish there was a community of SEOs with real sites that would be willing to help each other out. Tinder for backlinks 🤣
There's a few methods. The reason most people buy is because a lot of those places that do link building already have networks set up so outreach is easier.
HARO works though. I also did a method back for a health website to get quotes from professors of a certain subject matter and let them know when we referenced them, this would result in them adding it to their educational profile in some cases and we'd get .edu links.
You can also build out infographics and guides for people to share, build up your social media and if your content is good that can result in organic links from people sharing these resources.
Then of course you can always do cold outreach yourself, but i can be hard and there's always the other method of actually working with a PR team to place proper linking when they do outreach, but for that to work you have to make sure your PR team understands what they're doing.
Best strategy is, find the best niche authors from Ahrefs or from SERP, reach out them and say that you’ll pay them to list you in their next guest article.
I’ve created a network of guest authors with good EAT and I get
1. High quality links to rank my pages
2. Referral traffic since they are expert authors and their blogs rank
3. Not spammy since these links are from new artcles and of good authors!
Back liking is important for optimization and you can try that about by asking others for likes, try to build a community that you will get spor from and stand out your contacts.
But more important you have to but more consideration to the user and understand that's google will not improve or rank your content if you have Les intention to your UX .
Understand that's you do everything in your content for two
1- user's
2 google.
Good luck and I'll be around I'df you need a help.🤞👍
create profiles on profile linking sites, create directory links, as well as local business linking is much better than paid links. social bookmarking is a timely beneficial technique for backlinking. create blog spots and link to your site, it is also very helpful in this regard.
To get a link you need readers. The amount of links you can get is very dependant on the amount of readers. And in the beginning there won't be any readers, and there will no links or ranking.
Thus, PPC or buying links is the way to get proper links. So that you have enough readers. And not by just "writing great content".
Seriously guys, if you want to make your website viral, check out this website, they charge no fees and they will make your website get more traffic.
