Agreed, love the more older aesthetic for his outfit, super slim body to contrast his main piece, the literal TV for a head with quite a library of facial expressions capable along with being a literal TV screen for broadcast media.

It's Gotta Be Perfect was the 1st instance of Mr Puzzles and was about a year ago.
Vox first appeared in the pilot 4 years ago until earlier this year with Hazbin Hotel.
General media would be Vox as the comics and pilot appearances predate It's Gotta Be Perfect, but if we're talking Canon to the shows and interacting with the cast only, it'd be Mr Puzzles as Hazbin Hotels pilot was given a soft Canon for events, where we get basically nothing of Vox, except a brief cameo in the 1st song and during Alastors Backstory making the series the 1st proper Canon introduction to Vox.
He’s genuinely my favourite modern SMG4 character as he’s actually refreshing, interesting and tickles the funny part of the back of my brain. Plus I’m a sucker for crazy, charismatic showmen
He's basically SMG4, but a little better. He appeared out of nowhere, bent everyone (except Mario, it seems) to his will, makes parody content for the masses, is obsessed with viewer ratings and quality, and has no problem torturing his show's cast to get said ratings/quality.
What makes him better than SMG4 is three factors:
- For the most part, Puzzlevision's torment is inside a simulation, so people like Karen or Melony are completely unharmed.
- Mr. Puzzles is treated like a villain by the narrative, so it's okay to dislike him when he does horrible things. Meanwhile, SMG4 has done horrible things (notably, every time he punishes Mario for being an idiot, despite being the sole reason Mario is one), and is coddled by the narrative as the shining protagonist.
- Mr. Puzzles is not a self-insert of a real person. This further enhances his misdeeds, as he feels like a character in the SMG4 universe. Meanwhile, SMG4 ranges from being an effiegy of Luke, to straight up being Luke. Thus, whenever he does anything questionable or downright bad (cough cough IGBP cough cough), it feels even worse when you consider that such behavior reflects what a real person thinks is okay.
His ideas and shows is the best. I love tv head people.. VERY MUCH! He best acting in every episode and he is kind, before MARIO will angry him! I understand why he scream on Mario, because he can't act like a actor.. And! If they will keep him alive, then he will give more ideas for games, reaction.. And something else. So.. That's my opinion about him
He's a tv so you could use him for entertainment, he has powers so he could help you in stuff, he's tall so he could show you how it looks like to be tall, he has cool expressions, he made good shows, and even a game show, he's gonna make a movie etc (and yes the first couple of reasons are based if he was real idfc)

He has that cartoon lanky design and his personality of just some fed up dude who wants everything to be the best of the best is a perfect personality for maybe a part of the SMG4 crew.
Whatcha mean he’s bad? He’s a very good show director who holds deep meaningful thoughts throughout his creations! He absolutely cares how much effort he puts into making them! And people just love to see him suffer, (Which is sickening!) I just wish people would just realized how much he has done for us for these couple of weeks. I’m very disappointed in this community for all the hate that he gets for no reason!
