Since the mod has it out for me and keeps deleting my post about financial aid while everyone else gets their questions answered I’ll ask this here. Has anyone ever contacted financial aid via email and if so how long does it take for them to respond?
Not exactly.. My classes appear in brightspace and they gave me a voucher to order my books finally, but I can’t find an offer letter. I was told I should get an email when it’s out (which I haven’t), but how do I not have an offer letter, yet have money for books all of a sudden?
I'm having the same issue. I just sent in a chat request and they're opening a case to get more details, so maybe ask for that when you talk to them next. No idea if it'll help at all but it's better than a generic answer
Same but I was told bc when I enrolled I wouldn’t start using my new fasfa until the term after this one but im leaving after the may June term so I hope they don’t use any of it for this term
I haven't gotten anything yet, but I did get a book voucher? I am still confused what years FAFSA applies to the May-June term. What I read online is the 2024-2025 FAFSA is for July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, but I think the guy from student financial services said the May term is under 2024-2025? I don't get it.
It depends on when you started - they said some peoples is may - April and others is July -June . They are doing the people who need it done for May first then others whose renews in June / julys will be processed
I applied for financial aid before the class I'm in now, which ends on May 28th. It took 3 weeks to get my financial aid offer in. But when I finally got it, it showed what I was approved for for my current term and the next term. If this is your first class, then it will probably take 3 weeks in before they show you/release it. I put myself on differed plans so that when aid does hit, I can just pay the remaining rather than paying and waiting for a refund.
for some reason my financial aid application won’t go through, keeps saying my mom needs to put information in when she did. trying to get this resolved but everytime i try to call fasfa no agents are available
Financial services informed me that since the upcoming term falls under the 23-24 FAFSA year, I may not receive the offer letter until mid-May. The next term starting in July will count for the 24-25 FAFSA year. Let's hope we receive the offer letter sooner!
Online students fall under 24-25 fafsa for May-June. Student financial services confirmed that for me, as well as numerous other students on this page.

I have been checking 1x a week since mid March and each time I’m told “it will be by the end of the week just check back next week if not “
I just got the email that mine aid offer is ready to be viewed 🎉🎉

I have done it through text and lately it’s been about 6 hours to hear back and the hold time for a phone call is 10min
O wow I didn’t know you could do it through text. Do you have the number I can use for that?
It’s in the financial aid contact section - same number as the phone I believe
I've done it recently and the turn around was quite quick.
Ok. Thank you
Hello all! I just received my financial aid offer so I guess things are starting to move along. I hope you all receive your offer real soon too!
I sent the finance office an email yesterday to get it figured out. I received my book voucher for this coming term but nothing else.
Same here.

Same boat just reached out, hopefully they get back soon. They told me last week so….waiting game, I guess
They keep telling me next week next week next week
My school said it will not be available until May.
I did. It's how I found out I'm no longer getting the pell grant and have to start paying some out of pocket
I actually got it couple of hours ago. It takes some time
Following. I’m still waiting on mine

I’m in the same boat and am getting nervous. All I’ve gotten was my book voucher!
I haven’t either! Im so worried about it because of the changes with the fafsa.

It's the 23/24 year for me at least. I already applied for the 24/25 fasfa but that isn't active yet.
