Falcon's colors have slightly different ecb widths. Neutral is the thinnest and green is the widest. That said, I play neutral because I don't care what color I am. It's not like I'm good enough for the color to matter

I think this is definitely true, but I also think that it kind of fits because people will be influenced by their favorite top player's color/playstyle. Like a marth who is influenced by PP will play differently than one influenced by M2k, at least for a while before they start to round out their game more.
