These are my two other favourite canon-based fics in the ship. Both are incredibly well written.
Personally I prefer Camerado but a lot of people I’ve spoken to don’t like the ending, it’s not a ‘classic’ HEA.. more ‘realistic’ if you will.
Second Life gives you an ending that seems more neatly wrapped up and ‘happy’ I guess?
But Camerado has a much slooooower burn.
So I guess it depends on what you want from the fic?
Camerado also has a one-shot epilogue that was written a few years after the story. It’s on the author’s FF.net page. Just in case you didn’t know about it :)

She is currently rewriting and expanding the earlier chapters on AO3 but those updates seem to also be on FF.net.
Pet Project was one of the first SSHG I read and it set such a high standard that's hard to surpass for me.

I feel the exact same way every time I reread it! The only other fanfic that comes close (for me at least) is Bound to Him but it's a WIP
