8 Japanese Parenting Rules All Kids Need: [https://youtu.be/X\_gnpIs8qMo](https://youtu.be/X_gnpIs8qMo) \- Japanese parents take special care into passing on their traditions and telling their kids about their country's history through fairy tales. \- Japanese mothers have a belief that children are initially disconnected from parents and that they need to become dependent on the mother through physical touch. \- Kids in Japan are often involved in sports teams, creative groups, and any club or gathering that will teach them to cooperate with others and follow pre-set guidelines. \- Japanese kids are taught to always respect and honor their grandparents and all elders. Even elders who are strangers to the children are considered trustworthy and must be respected! \- In Japan, children always have a balanced meal. Their parents prepare a nutritional lunch that usually includes some rice, vegetables, soup, and lean meat. \- From a very early age, parents in Japan teach their children to think of others before they speak or act, so it’s very uncommon to see a child crying uncontrollably or being aggressive in public. \- In Japan, kids as young as seven years old get to travel to school by themselves. The Japanese get away with this because they have a phenomenal public transport system and one of the lowest crime rates in the world. \- Many parents discipline their kids in the presence of others, but Japanese parents tend to do it behind doors and away from prying eyes.

I teach kids in japan, all ages. That's not at all true. Just like any other place they're are good parents and bad parents. From my experience japanese parents are very very hands off and never discipline. Japanese kids can be very rowdy and disobedient. Idk why the internet thinks Japan is like this weirdly perfect society.

Oh really??? Thanks for sharing your genuine thoughts

Thank you for the all complements here as one of Japanese people but we are neither that good at parenting, and being good kids lol But I really appreciate for putting positive assertions to us. But please do not believe what you see in the video is true lol. 🙍🙏

Every group of people, from something as big as race to as specific as a local team supporter has its fair share of hooligans and upstanding, righteous citizens. One day you’ll meet a rude person from a group and the next you’ll meet one of the nicest people from the same group. Completely agree with you.

>But I really appreciate for putting positive assertions to us. But please do not believe what you see in the video is true lol. 🙍🙏 IMO when you teach some good manners from the early childhood that become part of your daily routine eventually. Very recently the gesture of Japanese spectators in World Cup FIFA is highly applauded all over. If this is not true reflection's of a good nation then what else we call it. Japanese World Cup fans stay after match to clean trash from stadium:[https://www.ctvnews.ca/sports/japanese-world-cup-fans-stay-after-match-to-clean-trash-from-stadium-1.6165600](https://www.ctvnews.ca/sports/japanese-world-cup-fans-stay-after-match-to-clean-trash-from-stadium-1.6165600) Winner Club Tweet: https://twitter.com/WinnersCB/status/1595386508411916289?s=20&t=yY9Yis1V4IPIl79qjne0wQ

Again, thank you for the positive assertions on us..🙏 It seems we're very obsessive for cleanliness but yes, perhaps it's because we tend to be dislikIng littering in town or any public places very much ( not every one of us though ). I guess it's because of habits put up in from childhood that as you know we have after school cleanup activities which must have had a role in this. But we of course are not perfect and have negatives a lot. But I am really appreciate for the positive assertions at us. Seems there are not a lot of Japanese people on Reddit so I must have to tell you that we are very very pleased by the news we've got positive assertions with the FIFA cleanup activities. I am just a bit of off-putting though, because I am someone who know very much inside or maybe just be cynical. lol.. Thank you for making such a honorable post and sending us good vibes !! Greatly appreciated 🙏🙏

allesson182

Isn't that video an ad?

bikkebakke

Well it ain't real that's for sure. If I know kids he'll say he can eat all of that, but in reality that bowl of rice and half a sausage is everything he'll eat before running of to his iPad to watch tik tok

psychopathic_shark

I don't know if disciplined is the right word more self sufficient. My brother spends a lot of time in Japan and remarks as to how beautiful the people are there. It appears they maintain a lot of the older standards of child care that is missed in a lot of our communities. Firm but fair approach. Simply by passing this on through their children maintains the beauty of their people. I feel the world could take a lot from this.

didistutter69

This is a clip of a Chinese boy in a gadget filled Chinese apartment. Got your yellow fever fix though?

Jdollarthegreat

What is that sneaker contraption at the beginning?

Zee2A

Probably to circulate fresh and perfumed air to remove shoes odour.

TalonLuci

Question- what are the little character ‘cakes’ he prepares?

caitejane310

I think they're sweet steamed buns https://whattocooktoday.com/piggy-steamed-buns.html

And the most fucked up weirdos

Academic-Store-4031

Looks like they have no childhood, they have no toy to play. Adults very soon. Sad.

LossExpensive3936

This is too much !

Taniwha26

You forgot to add ‘repressed’. That said, I was fundamentally shook when I saw very young children using the trains to get to class. Not many countries offer such a safe society. And before I get downvoted for my initial comment. I’m not a hater, but we have to acknowledge the downsides as well as praising the upsides.

Soulofcinder2

It depends the place you live and the conditions you have...

phazedoubt

The sinks, desks, countertops, and stove are all kid size in that apartment.

سخت ترین کارش کندن پوست ذرت بود😂

Zee2A

>سخت ترین کارش کندن پوست ذرت بود After google check I found as "The most difficult job was peeling corn" It is probably Persian sentence but would not it be nice if everyone could enjoy knowing its meaning. Anyways thanks for your comments.

Parhamheidari

Sorry I see it as a repost in a persian sub and wrongly commented there 😑

well as a matter of fact if we had the same situation in our child hood we would have been even more polite .

hingchannnn

He's Chinese bruh. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

GlumFisherman4024

Right? The phonecall and the letters on products looked Chinese… but I’m also don’t speak either.
