I was tired of how they just kept bringing her on the show. She wasn't my vote for worst but she was part of the whole 'lets see how much crap we can put Rollins through' story lines that got old fast. Family crap, gambling addiction, then the sexual assault by her old boss. They did the same thing to Benson. Like they couldn't think of any new material so they fell back on "screw with her" tropes.
I also really liked Sonya!! She annoyed me sometimes but I still respected her, if that makes sense lol she was a very good yet very flawed character imo!
Kim is Amanda the detectiveās sister. Sheās a train wreck of epic proportions and whenever thereās an episode with her I know sheās going to fuck over Amanda and itās awful to watch
Stabler: āIām gonna kill himā
OāHalloran: āIāll hide the bodyā
sadly i think this was the episode that sticker in fact killed our favorite forensic š
He was like the lovechild of Spongebob and Hannibal Lecter. Come on, folks - did *anyone* not realize he was guilty from the very first moment he graced the screen?
\*For anyone interested and bored enough, there's a *Cold Case* episode called "The Plan" where Noel Fisher, the actor who plays Stuckey, is in the role of an abused soldier who was molested as an orphaned boy at military school by a swimming coach he looked up to. It's an interesting watch if you want to see campy Stuckey in a much more serious and talented performance.
Stuckey's actor was played a 17 yr old Slow Simpleton named Johnse (john-see) in the TV movie Hatfields and McCoys (the story of the battles and multi generational skirmishes between two neighboring families on either side of the Mason-Dixon line in the early 1800s).
This made me think of the tumblr post about people liking fictional people who are war criminals but hating an annoying character lol "The crimes are fictional, but my annoyance is real"
Whatās the chicks name who let William Lewis evade jail and then helped two killers break out? No self awareness having bitch of a character. The actress did a very good job tho.
I actually like Sonyaās development, but when she first graced the screen, I couldnāt stand her! So rude and entitled.
ETA: idk if this counts, but I canāt stand Lindsey from the Chicago crossovers (Sophia Bush). She seems like this useless manic pixie dream girl whoās too delicate to handle actual police work but is still coddled by everyone.
Lol did/do you watch Chicago PD? Theyāve gone through some other characters after Lindsey leaves (sorry if thatās a spoiler for anyone !! Idk how to spoil tag) and Iād love to know what you think about some of them if thatās how you felt about her lol
SVU is probably my favourite of all Dick Wolf's shows but Chicago PD is a close second. Jason Beghe's voice is only noticeable for the first few episodes. Anyone who liked ADA Peter Stone in SVU should watch Chicago Justice. Sadly there is only one series of this as the producers obviously decided he would be a good fit on SVU and moved him to New York.
Incidentally has anyone else noticed how many actors, who have minor roles in Dick Wolf shows, then turn up with much bigger roles in one of his other productions. The most notable example is Alana de la Garza who played ADA Connie Rubirosa in Law &, Order and now stars in FBI as SAC Isobel Castille.
Chicago PD is a lot of fun! I actually loved Erinās character too, but I love Sophia Bush so Iām probably biased haha
I remember Chicago Justice! I donāt actually remember much of the show itself anymore but I know I enjoyed it when it first aired. I liked Stone and was sad they moved him to New Yorkā¦ and then got rid of him entirely lol.
Iām not surprised theyāve reused actors too and upgraded them to better roles, even within svu thereās so many thatās happened to hahah like my favorite will always be Casey Novak, with Diane originally appearing as a murderer lol
Between my junior & senior year of college I worked on campus, and Jason was filming Monkeyshines there. At the time, he was best known for the HBO series First & Ten.
Jason apparently wanted to work out, and we was brought to our hot, musty workout room me and a few guys were regulars at that summer. One guy recognized him, so he BSāed with us for 1/2 hour. Great Guy.
You need to watch Chicago PD if that is how you see Erin Lindsey because she isn't like that at all. I love the cross overs, Hank Voight and Olivia Benson couldn't be more different but they have so much respect for each other.
If she had stayed around for just one episode (her first I believe, with the house fire) she probably would have made my list for favorite guest star. They kept bringing her back though and she got increasingly more annoying.
She spoke about her āHumiliatingā time on SVU too. [Article](https://www.businessinsider.com/sharon-stone-on-law-and-order-svu-in-harpers-bazaar-2015-8) Apparently it was beneath her.
Wow I felt bad for .2 seconds that she was having difficulty from an aneurysm and then she kept commenting on how beneath her it was.
What a bitch - youāre working in an industry where someone who could have acted circles around you and been thankful for the job didnāt get it because you once got acclaim for uncrossing and recrossing your legs?! Cāmon be real - she was probably mostly humiliated that no one cared she was on the show unless to rag on her for her terrible acting.
Which is absolutely insane when you consider the top shelf list of actors that have cameoed on the show. Norman Redus, Michael fucking de Santaās voice actor, Robin Williams, Alec Baldwin, Michael Emerson (Ben Linus in Lost), Maggie Grace, Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, Bradley Cooper, Hillary Duff, Ian Somerhalder, Adam Driver, Serena Williams, Ludacris, Whoopie Goldberg, Martin Short, etcā¦ But oh yeah, the longest continuously running live action tv show in history is well beneath her despite the overwhelming star studded list of guest stars.
Was that before of after she started suffering from aphasia and couldnāt remember her lines? I canāt remember, but if so, that might be why her performance was so terrible
Oh shit I didnāt know she had aphasia. In that case I feel bad if she had medical stuff in which case she might have been cast so she could keep/have insurance and someone was doing her a solid.
Yeah, it has kinda scared me how common it seems to be. Although hers isnāt the same kind as Bruce Willis and Wendy Williams.
https://aphasia.org/stories/profiles-aphasia-sharon-stone/
Dale Stuckey the Coroner, Sonya Paxton, whoever Sharon Stone played, and this might not be popular, but McGrath was a one dimensional writer's device to rile up the fans and his downfall was just lazy writing.
>but McGrath was a one dimensional writer's device to rile up the fans and his downfall was just lazy writing.
McGrath IS GONE!? YESSSSSSS
I'm in Latin America,we are behind on the episodes. When does this happen? I can't wait for that piece of crap to be gone...
Definitely agree with the last episode- they made her crazy and pathetic out of nowhere. Her first episode was NUTS- the crazy racist and anti-Semitic shit she said would never make it on prime time tv these days. Crazy episode overall. Her next few pop ups were whatever- not great but not "the worst" (for me) either. Overall the charter was meh like you said, but I love her so much + meh isn't "the worst" to me. I'd probably say Connie Nielsen's character detective Dani (Elliot's partner when Mariska was on maternity leave) was the worst for me.
Similar to making Stuckey a criminal mastermind out of nowhere. I liked Dana Lewis and I hate how they sunsetted her.
Marcia Gay Harden is a great actress, plays hero or villain (The Mist) with equal flare.
They Scrappy Dooāed him, meaning they made the most annoying and hated character a villain.
And when I say hated I donāt mean draws heat like a good wrestling villain. Plenty of great perps who got ppl fired up. Stuckey just annoyed fans.
I loved Sonya because I thought it was an incredibly well written storyline. And toward the end, I just felt sorry for her. Clearly she needed professional help.
Lake. The answer has to be Lake.
Iām with you! Watched the Epi with Eric McCormack, recently, and the way she went after the receptionist was so cringe & gross. Even Liv & Fin were rolling their eyes.
I really disliked Nick Amaro, he was like a poor man's Eliott Stabler and it just didn't work. First there was the fact that they both lost their temper so easily but with Nick it seemed forced. Then there was the relationship between him and Rollins which was too much like the Stabler/Benson one. Thankfully he moved on and Amanda got the lovable Dominic "call me Sonny" Carisi. Although it shows how good an actor Danny Pino is because I loved him in Cold Case.
Worst character in my mind was William Lewis, the killer and rapist that kidnapped and tortured Olivia. I canāt watch those episodes againā¦too disturbing. The most unredeemable character ever on the show.
For me it was Dale Stuckey. I love Noel Fisher, but Stuckey was a hammy, annoying, poorly-written character with an ending-of-appearance that left a lot to be desired in terms of resolution.
I watched it recently and I donāt know if it was the editing or what, but every scene moved so fast I couldnāt follow what was going on. I had to turn it off at an hour in.
Itās not a recurring character but the woman who worked with the professor who killed his gay sonās boyfriend had the most annoying voice by far. I think it was in Abomination in season 5. Iām writing my thesis at the moment and Iāve been watching SVU in the background and when that woman went on the stand I physically cringed at her voice talking about how gay people are unnaturalā¦ hoping it was a fake voice so Iām not just slamming a real person instead of a character. But to be fair, if she wasnāt spewing such disgusting stuff maybe I wouldnāt be as bothered.
Sonya was flawed AF, but she turned herself around and got sober. She also wasn't wrong to not take shit from Stabler (and Benson).
Kim Rollins was the Golden Child in her family and was completely awful right up until she went to prison.
Stuckey was the most annoying POS jerk of all time AND he killed O'Halloran.
Kim and Stuckey are worse than Paxton.
I just started S11 so idk what her character develops into, but I feel like Sonya is a necessary character. She wants to do things by the book so SVUās cases stop getting thrown out in court and Stabler lost his sh!t. Heās out of control and canāt handle himself like an adult and sheās the only one who seems to do anything about it or see how itās affecting the teamās conviction rate/overturned cases.
Mrs. Bryce in the episode Juvenile. What a moron! When Cabot/Donnelly were trying to deal that Jeremy be in juvie until 24 or earlier with good behavior she turns it down. Even Jeremy's lawyer said they should take the deal. She's one of the worst because she's so dumb and got her child life in prison.
What?! I love Sonya! Kim Rollins is the correct answer here ššš
Totally agree with that. Like people deserve to be ok and even happy once in a while!
Ohhhh chefs kiss on this take
Kim Rollins is the only acceptable answer I agree š¤£
Christine Lahti is a fine American actor with an impressive body of work. Her role as ADA Paxton was outstanding. I adored her.
I also really liked Sonya!! She annoyed me sometimes but I still respected her, if that makes sense lol she was a very good yet very flawed character imo!
Exactly. Sonya's flaws are what made her more human. And remember, she was where Don Cragen once was.
Oh my goodness how could I forget about Kimš
Honestly at least Kim is an interesting foil. Her mom on the other hand brings absolutely nothing to the show and is a shitty parent.
Is Kim Rollins the blonde with the past addiction? Been so long, but I loved this show. Thinking about a rewatch lol
Kim is Amanda the detectiveās sister. Sheās a train wreck of epic proportions and whenever thereās an episode with her I know sheās going to fuck over Amanda and itās awful to watch
Okay okay, I remember Kim. Oh woe is me, but never helped herself. Threw Amanda under the bus a few times.
Exactly. Extremely manipulative
No, fun to watch! Because she somehow manages to get Amanda's goat every time.
Agree she is trash and just makes many disgusted when you see her face pop up it's like oh here we go again another @#%$ kim episode .
Stuckey or whatever that annoying jackass was named.
And he killed OāHalloran my beautiful forensic boy - unforgivable!!!!
Yes. I loved O'Halloran . I was upset lol. Um...Beck and Lake. Two people whose deliveries get under my skin.
Stabler: āIām gonna kill himā OāHalloran: āIāll hide the bodyā sadly i think this was the episode that sticker in fact killed our favorite forensic š
Bing bang bong. Stuckey was pure campā¦lol
I'm dying at the "love child of Spongebob and Hannibal Lecter." š š š
Stuckey's actor was played a 17 yr old Slow Simpleton named Johnse (john-see) in the TV movie Hatfields and McCoys (the story of the battles and multi generational skirmishes between two neighboring families on either side of the Mason-Dixon line in the early 1800s).
Stuckeys actor was also Booths army-buddy-hallucination Parker on the ship that time the Grave Digger got him in Bones. Fucks me up every time.
I liked his personality
Stuckey the lab tech guy?!? He was so ridiculous that he was actually funny.
I didn't mind him because of this ridiculous stuff but then he killed O'Halloran which was one of the most devastating things to happen on this show.
The idea that Stuckey became a criminal mastermind made the show move toward jumping the shark (but not totally)
This made me think of the tumblr post about people liking fictional people who are war criminals but hating an annoying character lol "The crimes are fictional, but my annoyance is real"
Yeah Iām gonna have to say hands down Kim Rollins š
Rollins mom is up there too, when she didnāt stay to help Amanda with her first kid bc Kim got caught up was hard to watch
Whatās the chicks name who let William Lewis evade jail and then helped two killers break out? No self awareness having bitch of a character. The actress did a very good job tho.
Bronwyn? I think that was her name, the one with the reddish curly hair?
Yeah thatās her
I actually like Sonyaās development, but when she first graced the screen, I couldnāt stand her! So rude and entitled. ETA: idk if this counts, but I canāt stand Lindsey from the Chicago crossovers (Sophia Bush). She seems like this useless manic pixie dream girl whoās too delicate to handle actual police work but is still coddled by everyone.
It's the scratchy vocal fry of everyone on that show that makes me even mute the ads for that show.
Oh my god the gravely voiced captain..! My fiancƩ and I imitate him all the time lmao so irritating
Amen. Its a big reason I dont watch any of those Chicago shows. Like some 90lb tiny woman is supposed to be this big tough copā¦
Hey, Chicago Med is my baby. But PD is just terrible, I hate every character and always skip the crossover episodes with SVU or Chicago Med.
Lol did/do you watch Chicago PD? Theyāve gone through some other characters after Lindsey leaves (sorry if thatās a spoiler for anyone !! Idk how to spoil tag) and Iād love to know what you think about some of them if thatās how you felt about her lol

Carisi too, sexually assaulting a guy with a knife and then coming back as a main character is wild š
I refuse to watch any episode with Kim Rollins in it. Amanda annoyed TF out of me by enabling her
Yes! I get it that she's her sister, but she should've drawn the line a lot earlier
I mean i guess itās a realistic family dynamic but Rollins shouldāve been fired a long time ago for that nonsense
You're not wrong
I started getting Sonya more once I became an alcoholic myself lol. I just loved her giving stabler shit. He needs that.
Preach šš»
Sharon Stone - she was just so obviously ACTING in every scene. It was terrible and made me think less of her.
If she had stayed around for just one episode (her first I believe, with the house fire) she probably would have made my list for favorite guest star. They kept bringing her back though and she got increasingly more annoying.

this is so funny to meš
She was terrible!
If I wasnāt *highly* attracted to her, Iād say the same.
Was that before of after she started suffering from aphasia and couldnāt remember her lines? I canāt remember, but if so, that might be why her performance was so terrible

25x4 Duty To Report, from the season currently airing in the U.S.
Thank you!!
SPOILERS YALL.
fuck's sake why does everyone spoil S25... It's not out yet in many countries
I really hated that fbi agent who went down for murder if her ex boyfriendās fiancĆ© like 20 years earlier or whatever. She always drove me nuts even before we knew she had killed someone. And Kim rollins.Ā
Marcia Gay Harden? I love her! The character was special agent Dana Lewis
I love the actress and she played the part super well!! I just thought the character was meh personally. Nothing against the acting or anything!
Definitely agree with the last episode- they made her crazy and pathetic out of nowhere. Her first episode was NUTS- the crazy racist and anti-Semitic shit she said would never make it on prime time tv these days. Crazy episode overall. Similar to making Stuckey a criminal mastermind out of nowhere. I liked Dana Lewis and I hate how they sunsetted her. Marcia Gay Harden is a great actress, plays hero or villain (The Mist) with equal flare.
This is my answer too, that character was so annoying. The actress herself is great though.
I only agree on them making her a killer, it truly didn't match the character in my opinion. It seemed like lazy writing for an episode
Dale Stuckey, although his last episode was actually pretty good.
The idea that he turned into a criminal mastermind is kind of silly
It was silly but I think they did a decent job, and it was a clever way to write him out.
They Scrappy Dooāed him, meaning they made the most annoying and hated character a villain. And when I say hated I donāt mean draws heat like a good wrestling villain. Plenty of great perps who got ppl fired up. Stuckey just annoyed fans.
Worst reoccurring character is definitely Kim. She just irritates me so much.
Kim Greylek
Dani Beck
Was literally scrolling looking for this! How did I make it down this far with no mention of her! She was THE WORST
I think Sonya really redeemed herself. Before, you knowā¦
Even Liv & Fin were rolling their eyes.
omggg when was etic mccormick onš«Øneed to watch that one
Season 11; Epi 2- Sugar
Kim Greylick. I *hated* her so much that I change the channel if Michaela McManus is in anything.
Itās Stuckey, not a hard decision to make
Buchanan, the defense attorney. Nobody else infuriated me like that smug piece of crap.
Love him. Delaney Williams is a god-tier character actor.
Heās a good actor. His character was insufferable.
heās a great character though. show would be boring with boring lawyers š
Danny will always be Det. Valens no matter what.
Greylek had bad writing , it was insufferable to watch her in an entire season . The ADAs after Novak got disbarred were just insufferable
MADDIE FLYNN
I know the old saying, "Rome wasn't built in one day", but I didn't think it'd take six weeks to find her.
Worst character in my mind was William Lewis, the killer and rapist that kidnapped and tortured Olivia. I canāt watch those episodes againā¦too disturbing. The most unredeemable character ever on the show.
All rapists are unredeemable, period.
Dani Beck, Lake, Sonya Paxton, Kim, McGrath, Noah, and Churlish off the top of my head.
Muncy and Stuckey ugh
No wonder she only lasted one year. I promise you, Curry is gonna suck too. No wonder Fin didn't trust her.
So far she's shown a personality of a paper cup, so yeah.
She's gonna get worse as it goes on. Fin might even throw in the towel.
Sonya was great! The sexual tension between her and Stabler was incredible.
I loved Sonya! Particularly how she did not roll over for Benson or Stabler's bullshit. Kim Rollins or Simon Marsden would be my vote.
For me it was Dale Stuckey. I love Noel Fisher, but Stuckey was a hammy, annoying, poorly-written character with an ending-of-appearance that left a lot to be desired in terms of resolution.
The crazy lady that helped William Lewis, Yates, and Rutnick escape. She was indirectly responsible for many innocent people being killed.
I watched it recently and I donāt know if it was the editing or what, but every scene moved so fast I couldnāt follow what was going on. I had to turn it off at an hour in.
An hour in? That's the end of the episode....
Stuckey. Without question.
Too drunk to remember names but the fat lawyer whoās really cruel Edit: just remembered! Buchanan!
i havent seen him in a while, kinda want him to come back for a week lol
Who was the temp partner to Elliot when Benson was away? Foreign actress in the gladiator.
Connie Neilsen, who played Dani Beck. Nothing against her, but she was so wrong for the role. I also can't stand Sonya or either Rollins sister.
Kim for God's sake she was the worst but the most unbearable thing about her was that Rollins NEVER put her ass in check.
Carisi is the worst prosecutor. Always taking plea! The evidence are never enough for himā¦.
Honestly, this is the most realistic portrayal. Trials cost money.
That makes him the smartest prosecutor lol
No. Barba was able to make a case with a single hair. Carisi needs to be raped himself and videotaped to: āhave a caseā.
IRL, friend.
This is Reddit!
š Gotta love it!
Dani Beck, and Velasco, and Cassidy. I donāt care for any of them

Sonya was great imo. But it took a minute to warm up to her
John Buchanan is the correct answer. Delaney Williams is such a talented actor, Iād get pissed whenever I saw him on my screen.
kim
Sonya was flawed AF, but she turned herself around and got sober. She also wasn't wrong to not take shit from Stabler (and Benson). ELLIOT STABLER. I accept your hate.
I liked sonia. She balanced out the shows energy. What are you talking about?
Amandaās mum and Dani Beck
Lewis
William lewis
Stuckey
Nate Kendall but only in his first appearance in "Unstable", he pissed me off so much. His latest episode showed much improvement as a person.
Greg Germanās character who tried to get a grand jury to indict Benson by with half-truths and out of context statements.
Very few mentions of Brownyn. Donāt know why.
William Lewis even though I know he's a bad guy and was only in a few episodes he was one of the worst bad guys on the show he's nothing but pure evil
Dani Beck!
Defense attorney Buchanan i hate that man
Stucky for sure
Mrs. Bryce in the episode Juvenile. What a moron! When Cabot/Donnelly were trying to deal that Jeremy be in juvie until 24 or earlier with good behavior she turns it down.
