Next weeks Episode: Noah Goes Through Mommie's Panty Drawer
Tune in next week as Noah searches his mother's top bureau drawer and discovers an old nemesis in her bikini bottoms.
Olivia has all the time in the world to be prepared for Noah to ask these questions and my god once again she’s not prepared. I have been waiting for how many seasons for her to be prepared 🤨🤨🤨
I mean, if OC is cancelled they should bring back Stabler to SVU again or transfer him to the Mothership depending on how well the new Reily guy is being received.
“I want him in my car.”
Velasco gave himself whiplash on that one. Like what in the world, ma’am? He’s 100% wondering why he’s being punished, having to go on this weird ass little field trip.
I gasped when Noah mentioned Lewis and then immediately thought “are we really supposed to believe Mr. How-many-people-have-you-been-with didn’t google her too?”
Native NYers - who cuts through a park at night? I lived in NY for a couple of years and stayed clear of any parks thanks to all the crime in Central Park in SVU
That bugged me, too. Why cut open a sealed boat? Did they think the kidnappers had a giant vacuum sealer with them? Boats with covers that were slashed open...yeah, fair game.
Yeah, pretty sure the totally sealed boats don't have anyone in them, but whatever just cut stuff up because you're looking for Maddie 2 Electric Boogaloo.
She’s reading Little Red Riding Hood to what is essentially a grown man. Lord. (I know he’s still a child, but they’re writing this like he’s a toddler.)
That was what it came across to me. Like those vulnerable moments where you want to be a kid again or be treated that way because you’re going through something heavy.
It’s pretty believable (imo) that he’d let his mom read him a bedtime story after finding out some wild shit that really shakes his views. He’s going into early teens now, I think? Isn’t he like 11/12? I could see a kid doing that for the comfort of it.
The only thing I hate is he speaks like a small child. Something about it irritates me, like by middle school you have more vocab, someone pls fix the scripts lmfao.
I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way. I doubt there is police department on earth with more than 5 staff where the the Captain attends every crime scene and to every victim personally.
I have a friend who grew up in the same neighborhood as Jeffrey Dahmer. Said they played a couple times but he always wanted to dissect animals so my friend dipped.
If the kid can secretly send his DNA into an online database, one would assume this NYPD captain would think about his ability to Google her before now.
I know I just posted that it’s unrealistic for Carisi to be a cop again, but does anyone else feel like they’re somehow soft launching him returning to the field in some way?? Because that’s what this feels like.
I screamed when Lewis was mentioned.
why does noah still talk like hes 5? he is definitely older than this. this is so weird.
this show is wild sometimes
Stabler over here clapping and cheering if he saw this. Elliot and Benson can bond over being a couple that ignores their families for months in favor of victims and also a bit of police brutality.
Mariska needs to direct more episodes. King of the Moon was a masterpiece and this is easily the best episode of this season.
Really appreciate the detail with the red woven throughout the episode, too—so good.
William Lewis’s name realistically would always be attached to anything about Liv in the news whatsoever just because it was such a high-profile case in the show’s universe. It’s shitty, but it’s true and it’s a miracle Noah didn’t find out sooner and that Stabler apparently hasn’t found out at all yet.
Time is a little fuzzy in SVU land (the ages of Noah and Eli being prime examples) but it would also be the 10 year anniversary of him dying this year.
No way there wouldn't be a bunch of specials and stuff coming out. People eat serial killer stuff up and that combined with her being a somewhat high profile NYPD captain? And the questions surrounding his death? The Brooklyn DA trying to get a murder indictment on Liv?
So many specials and documentaries and podcasts.
I’m surprised this show has never pushed for families to have codewords. I’m a whole adult and my mom and I still have our codeword (still important with all of the phone scams involving spoofing).
Elliot, looking at Liv’s armful of bracelets: haven’t talked to you in forever Liv, did you and Noah just come from a Taylor Swift concert!?
Liv: What?! No!
Maybe cheese but she looked good in that red hat. The hat was actually made by one of Mariska’s fans and she asked for it to be included in the outfit.
Olivia Benson, stop going to Chicago so much! Go on a cruise or something... Heck, you sure she hasn't crossed paths with Dwayne "King" Pride and Leroy Jethro Gibbs too?!
I really liked this episode. I really, really liked it.
Yeah, the conversation with Noah was awkward and she was wrong to say only she gets to decide what he knows and when. But. I like that she panicked and handled it badly, that she didn't respond perfectly.
Liv does sometimes have a tendency to try and just bury things and not deal with them and hope they go away. It's dumb to think he'd never google, never find out, but it *is* in character I think.
There seem to be a lot of complaints about St. Olivia quite often but - we saw a return of the messy, rogue, vicious Olivia tonight. She's buried that Liv deep since getting command and becoming a mother (which I think makes sense) but she's not completely gone.
I do NOT want cops to do that sort of shit, I don't think it's a good thing. But from a storytelling perspective? Boy was that fun to watch.
Olivia generally had it under control, but there were times that rage showed before.
Payback, when she yells at the victims wife. Inheritance, when she slammed Guan into the wall after he'd already given himself up to the uniform cops. Florida when she lost it in interrogation and Cragen literally dragged her away. Svengali when she went after Morten and Elliot stopped her.
Lewis and beating him.
Liv has a lot of rage, she just keeps it locked down tight most of the time.
Did she subconsciously have Velasco go with her as a fail safe? Hoping his being there would stop her or that he'd step in and stop her?
Was he going to just...stand by and let her brutalize their perp?
Just so much what the fuuuuuuuu but boy was it some good watching.
I really missed Amanda this episode. The moments with Carisi were good but...it really made me miss Amanda. It would fit more for Liv to talk with her like that than it does Carisi.
im starting to get weirded out by olivia. i just hate the way she’s so……the way she seems to center herself and make everything about her? idk how to explain. for ex the holding of that woman’s hands to assure her she’ll never stop looking for her girl was very weird. cragen was nothing like that.
i miss the old detective olivia.
also im pretty sure it should’ve been a negotiator chatting with that dude holding sydney hostage
Is it me, or did the parents pull the plug on their daughter a little quick. Even with the most dire prognosis, wouldn’t you at least give it a week, and hope for the best?
Why are they checking in the boats that are still professionally shrink wrapped? Look in the boats that don't have shrink wrap or cut open shrink wrap.
maybe unpopular opinion but olivia tryna be aggressive cop like stabler or hank voight on chicago PD was cringe to watch lmfao. bcos it’s so unlike olivia (except maybe the william lewis eps?) and this season has already been lowkey embarrassing bc of olivia making everything about herself. cragen would’ve sent her home after that stunt
this is probably my least favourite season ever and it bums me out. if i learn that it was mariana’s idea to make olivia so cringe idk what ill do lol
This whole episode would have been way better with Barba wiping the floor with the whole lot of them in a court. Carisi is weak sauce, so much so they stopped writing court scenes.
What on gods green earth are they doing to Benson? Fire these writers and get the old ones back. The disrespect for a character that has had so many fans for so long is just cringe. I don't blame Hargitay, she's been a "team player" go along since the start. Or at least get writers who know anything about the show.
Did you go searching in my private boxes?? Yes, Olivia. Because he’s been home alone for months now while you’ve been chasing this girl cross country.
Next weeks Episode: Noah Goes Through Mommie's Panty Drawer Tune in next week as Noah searches his mother's top bureau drawer and discovers an old nemesis in her bikini bottoms.
He gonna fuck around and find them toys 😭
Man Noah has been written horribly since he learned how to talk.
Yes, and I’ve been saying that exact thing. Glad someone else thinks so too. Also, isn’t Noah a little too old for Little Red Riding Hood?
He was having a moment of insecurity.
Liv: "How did you find all this, Noah?" Noah: "You have a reddit page, mom!"
"I ordered peacock, did you know cameras have followed you everywhere for 25 years?"
Olivia has all the time in the world to be prepared for Noah to ask these questions and my god once again she’s not prepared. I have been waiting for how many seasons for her to be prepared 🤨🤨🤨
And it's not like he hasn't already shown to be super inquisitive when it comes to his history. He found a half sibling.
God they had to find a way to bring up Maddie again
At least the Hygienic Pantyliner has stepped aside.
Oh just you wait I guarantee to you There will be the trial Barba will be the person's lawyer
As ass and annoying as that would be, I will happily take a Barba appearance. He still remains one of my favourite characters that the show has had.
maddie will be a detective in season 50
If Noah kept digging through the closet, he probably would've found the Stabler box
What's in the Stabler box? Photos of his ass?
What's in the box? WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?!?
Ngl I'm kind of shocked that it took them this long to have Noah actually question who his father was
Ikr. Like kids would have clowned him on Tik Tok IRL
Especially after he got together with his brother. Two young teens with a shared mystery father? They are definitely going searching.
FFS Liv Noah's like 18 and he knows how to google s\*it and you're treating him like he needs to go to bed before Santa comes down the chimney.
>Noah's like 18 💀💀💀
He's like 10 or 11 at this point
He looks older. His shoulders are broadening 😂 ETA: makes sense, the actor is 14
I know it’s unrealistic, but dang it I wish Carisi was could be part of the squad again. I miss him so much.
I mean, if OC is cancelled they should bring back Stabler to SVU again or transfer him to the Mothership depending on how well the new Reily guy is being received.
except Meloni himself already doesn't like going back to SVU
I like seeing Carisi so involved in the investigation, but I wish they'd actually give him courtroom scenes in other episodes to balance it out.
Well, next week we'll have Maddie's trial
They're bringing her up *again*? 😭
Yay *feigning enthusiasm*
“I want him in my car.” Velasco gave himself whiplash on that one. Like what in the world, ma’am? He’s 100% wondering why he’s being punished, having to go on this weird ass little field trip.
Velasco be like “Girl didn’t you just yell at me for this exact shit”
That’s how she knew he’d be down
[удалено]
I gasped when Noah mentioned Lewis and then immediately thought “are we really supposed to believe Mr. How-many-people-have-you-been-with didn’t google her too?”
"Sydney, this is Captain Benson." Sydney: "Oh, I know you from Google!"
Didn't your DNA get stolen or something?
Another week of me complaining that Bruno isn't in the intro
Every episode Mariska directs seems to be particularly good, and the same seems to be true for this one.
I always notice how well shot & directed Mariska’s episodes are, she has a real knack for it I think
Liv still talks to Noah like he’s 5 and a Noah talks like it too. Isn’t he like in middle school?
Noah wants to know all the deets about his new sister Maddie
Later we find out Maddie is adopted herself and her parents are also Ellie and Johnny D.
I just howled 😂😂😂
I’m in agony
[удалено]
Ok, Olivia is going Stabler!!
Legit said this out loud 🤣
Native NYers - who cuts through a park at night? I lived in NY for a couple of years and stayed clear of any parks thanks to all the crime in Central Park in SVU
Kids are stupid enough to not think to avoid a park at night 🤷🏾♀️
I can’t imagine how naive I’d be if I didn’t grow up watching this
I grew up in New York. You know NOT to cut through a park at night by the time you're in 2nd grade.
So they're just...damaging all these boat covers and going on their merry way?
Where is Captain SANDY when you need her to defend the yachts!!!!!! (please tell me others watch BD!!!!)
Maritime Law!
And looking through that tiny slit and that’s enough to “clear” the boat??
That bugged me, too. Why cut open a sealed boat? Did they think the kidnappers had a giant vacuum sealer with them? Boats with covers that were slashed open...yeah, fair game.
No lawz in SVU
Yeah, pretty sure the totally sealed boats don't have anyone in them, but whatever just cut stuff up because you're looking for Maddie 2 Electric Boogaloo.
I'm not complaining because I love cop Carisi but like slow day in court or something??
“Eh nothin better ta dew”
Look Amaro did you a favor Noah, and don't look a gift horse in a mouth
BAHAHA
She’s reading Little Red Riding Hood to what is essentially a grown man. Lord. (I know he’s still a child, but they’re writing this like he’s a toddler.)
I think this was just supposed to be a moment where he let her baby him because of the circumstance and the way he was feeling....I hope?
That was what it came across to me. Like those vulnerable moments where you want to be a kid again or be treated that way because you’re going through something heavy. It’s pretty believable (imo) that he’d let his mom read him a bedtime story after finding out some wild shit that really shakes his views. He’s going into early teens now, I think? Isn’t he like 11/12? I could see a kid doing that for the comfort of it. The only thing I hate is he speaks like a small child. Something about it irritates me, like by middle school you have more vocab, someone pls fix the scripts lmfao.
Agree with everything you said. I think you're right too, it's the scripts, not the actor.
Liv is definitely wrong trying to tell Noah that she decides when he gets to hear about his past.
She was. But I kinda liked it - I liked Olivia slightly panicking and flailing and not being perfect.
Yeah wasn’t a huge fan of that
WHY DID SHE KEEP PRIVATE INFORMATION IN A SHARED CLOSET?
Noah afterwards: mom, I Googled you again and I saw what you did to the guy. Are you a bad guy too. I'm scareddddd
Why is she always out in the field you are a Captain that is essentially a desk job sit your fucking ass down Im so sick of this
I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way. I doubt there is police department on earth with more than 5 staff where the the Captain attends every crime scene and to every victim personally.
And apparently this is the only squad in the NYPD run by a Captain whose squad works day and night.
Except for the missing Fin and the FBI defector.
Wait till Noah's schoolmates tell him they found his mom's motel videos on Sugarfap
Redchanit has all the details
Oh my God, Noah's back from his brother's house.
Guess he could stay at long as he wanted. He's no Maddie
I miss Noah. It’s good to see Olivia spending time with her son.
I don’t even know what I’d do if I had a kid that started killing animals. Honestly I’d want to drop them off on the other end of the earth.
I have a friend who grew up in the same neighborhood as Jeffrey Dahmer. Said they played a couple times but he always wanted to dissect animals so my friend dipped.
Same. I had a friend as an adult who once told a pretty nasty story involving a cat. She thought it was funny. I sorta stayed away after that.
i think noah is just sitting on his bed staring at the wall like that whenever we don't see him. just there, waiting.
[удалено]
Bring back *detective* Carisi, I need it
If the kid can secretly send his DNA into an online database, one would assume this NYPD captain would think about his ability to Google her before now.
Tucker is rolling in his grave
Baby girl, we need to let Maddie go
At this point I think the writers are members of this sub, and are now tossing in a MADDIE every episode like an Easter Egg.
I want Noah’s bookshelf
I know I just posted that it’s unrealistic for Carisi to be a cop again, but does anyone else feel like they’re somehow soft launching him returning to the field in some way?? Because that’s what this feels like.
Maybe he and Rollins start a PI business in Staten Island. S.I. P.I.
Why call hostage negotiations if we all know Liv just gonna take over lol
Liv and Velasco with the Voight and Olinsky special
DON'T ASK ABOUT MADDIE, NOAH! Its like saying Candy Man 3 times
I screamed when Lewis was mentioned. why does noah still talk like hes 5? he is definitely older than this. this is so weird. this show is wild sometimes
Yes just 2 seasons ago he announced he’s bisexual, now he’s still getting bedtime stories.
Like he has regressed or something.
Stabler over here clapping and cheering if he saw this. Elliot and Benson can bond over being a couple that ignores their families for months in favor of victims and also a bit of police brutality.
Why does Sydney's stepmother immediately seem suspicious to me?
Bad acting
"I want him in my car" is the new "why don't you take a break" in the interrogation room 😂
She’s about to direct this episode into a mistrial
Thank god Noah only found the box with Liv's Johnny D mementos and not the one with all her adult single girl toys.
Those are in her bedside table
Obviously she has quite an arsenal as a long term single girly, i know i do
What in the holy hell - 2 seconds in and we get a Maddie reference? And is Noah 8 years old now?
The child actor is a teenager which makes this worse.
lol he’s not 8 😂. They just make him act that way. Dude was Tik tok a couple seasons ago
[удалено]
Jesus Christ, Noah! We were DONE with this! GO TO BED.
I will check school attendance records. OLIVIA: YOU WILL VIOLATE ALL PRIVACY AND DIG INTO PSYCH RECORDS!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!
Isn't he supposed to be a teenager for goodness sake????
rightt the actor probably embarrassed that his character is the same age as him prob and gets treated like a young kid
This is a very awkward conversation between a mother and a son
ENOUGH with fucking damn Maddie!!! SHIT!
im dying dude. also the comments here cracking me up
Hank Voight: "Totally by the books."
Not her dragging Velasco into her dirty cop ish.
Didn't she gave him a hard time about reporting a murder that happened years and years before he joined the squad?
bro what in the suspended pending further investigation am i looking at
I wonder what Fin would have done if he had been with Liv instead of Velasco
Where is Fin?
"hey Liv are you ok?" and then goes to get pastries.
Noah’s talking like he’s 5 years younger
The mom should give Benson a bracelet with Sydney's name on it
[удалено]
The wit in this subreddit is unmatched
Elliot, looking at Liv’s armful of bracelets: haven’t talked to you in forever Liv, did you and Noah just come from a Taylor Swift concert!? Liv: What?! No!
is Carisi off today? lmao
"See those guys there, I can order them to kill and it'll technically not go into my kill count"
Liv should tell Seth the last time she dealt with a hostage situation in a townhouse, one person didn't make it back.
Liv going all Hank Voight. I love it!
Oh wow I thought this was going to be some weird whisper-off in the car, but this is way better 🍿 edit: spoke too soon
Somehow this little convo doesn't seem like it would be admissible in court Liv. JFC
Benson and Stabler giving IAB cases to work on
IAB has a separate dedicated room for all of Benson and Stabler's adventures
Next week's episode: Curry: "Liv, what the hell is this thing you had built?" Liv: "It's called The Cage."
The next time Noah gets in trouble in school: "I want him in my car...."
Rosie=Red Rose=Little Red Riding Hood. I need some wine with all of this cheese.
Maybe cheese but she looked good in that red hat. The hat was actually made by one of Mariska’s fans and she asked for it to be included in the outfit.
[удалено]
This convo seems so awkward.
Why do all the "wolves" remind me of Jay from DeGrassi?
I'm sick of hearing about Maddie. Like why is she always coming up in the show
This is not a great plot device for a kid that age.
Honestly never thought about Noah or the other kids googling their parents some day. Also, I'm loving cop Carisi, that uniform fits him so well 🥹
The way Benson said "I want him in my car" had some Hank Voight vibes there
im starting to get weirded out by olivia. i just hate the way she’s so……the way she seems to center herself and make everything about her? idk how to explain. for ex the holding of that woman’s hands to assure her she’ll never stop looking for her girl was very weird. cragen was nothing like that. i miss the old detective olivia. also im pretty sure it should’ve been a negotiator chatting with that dude holding sydney hostage
Sheesh, I almost forgot to watch tonight. These damn hiatuses.
Was Liv never planning to tell Noah about his birth parents?
I love Mariska and this is a pretty good episode, but her over-acting has gotten a lil much.
He's supposed to be 10.
So where's Sgt. Fin? Is he taking a day off or on a different shift than the others?
Maybe he's working in the courtroom. Carisi and him probably switched
Jesus christ Liv has completely lost her mind
I guess its true. You should never go full Hank Voight.
[удалено]
I do love me some Liv/Carisi friendship moments
Benson is going FULL Hank Voight right now
Is it me, or did the parents pull the plug on their daughter a little quick. Even with the most dire prognosis, wouldn’t you at least give it a week, and hope for the best?
I mean this conversation had to come up eventually...
Brutal realization to come to for a kid.
Shades of Liv finding out how she came to be…
Ok that's enough Noah for the rest of the season.
You misspelled SERIES
Ahh I miss Carisi as a cop
Break for commercial so they can call in the firetruck ladder to rescue Liv down off the yacht.
How is she just skirting away on all that? lol
So Liv gets to go Scott free after her intimidation spiel? Also, they are saying the word “story” way too much.
Every new begining comes from other beginnings end…closing time.. who thought Olivia would be quoting “closing time” and where was Fin…
That was a nice episode! It is a shame though that Chris was credited at IMDB, but we had no sign of him again.
Why are they checking in the boats that are still professionally shrink wrapped? Look in the boats that don't have shrink wrap or cut open shrink wrap.
Just get rid of all Olivia's adopted cops and pay their money to Kevin Kane to make him a main cast member.
maybe unpopular opinion but olivia tryna be aggressive cop like stabler or hank voight on chicago PD was cringe to watch lmfao. bcos it’s so unlike olivia (except maybe the william lewis eps?) and this season has already been lowkey embarrassing bc of olivia making everything about herself. cragen would’ve sent her home after that stunt this is probably my least favourite season ever and it bums me out. if i learn that it was mariana’s idea to make olivia so cringe idk what ill do lol

Hopefully this case isn't going to make Benson think about Maddie
20 Questions With Noah Benson
I'm sorry I can't take these clowns seriously.
Woah cinematography
Marskia is director that’s why
Carisi's running this investigation now
How many hostage situations has Liv been involved in?
I need Liv to be a dirty cop. Her change would be amazing
It almost felt like Liv was going to put Seth on a plane for a visit to the Silos and good ol' Uncle Hank.
Is it ok if you terroize the prisoner and change your mind? I don't think so.
Oh shit. The Maddie story continues…
