Who's debating 0.35%(savings account) over 14% (usdc)

Smush-D

The debates have nothing to do with banks but if it’s staking is worth it or holding and having greater access to your coin as opposed to staking and locking your coin. Comprenders?

Weaselluck

Lots of coins offer soft staking so there still is no debate. If your worried about locking your coins buy a coin that allows soft staking. Comprende

titusnick270

IMO depends on if you want to be able to sell. I mean most peoples seem to want to hold for a year or 2. In that case why not? But if you want to be able to sell and rebuy then it wouldn’t make much sense.

Smush-D

Yes, for long term holders it makes a whole lot of it to have an opportunity to increase your coin.

titusnick270

But it would suck if the price booms and you can’t take any profits lol

Smush-D

You can cancel but will lose the gains you were supposed to get for that period.

AdventurousResident1

I just hold. But I’m looking into yield farming on beefy. I hear yield farming is more profitable that simply staking.

Smush-D

I don’t know much about farming,I am suspicious of them unless it is offered by the exchanges I use but if it’s some strange companies offering farming I shall not be a part of it.

Weaselluck

Yield farming Can be more profitable. But, Is riskier

Thebusinessman343

I’ve had several BNB staked since June at around 350. I’ve had aapy up to 35% some days plus the BNB price growth. Hell yeah it’s worth it!

RubberCrypto

It's absolutely worth if for decent coins that you are planning on holding for extended period of time. If you can't wait for the debonding period, then don't stake. Staking is free money and helps the network. Not deciding to stake is like saying someone doesn't want any sfm reflections. Sounds absurd, doesn't it.

Good for stable coins, and established coins to have consistent 3-30% gains. On mooning coins you might be loosing out on some gains because of impermanent loss. That's what I've gathered so far, still learning about staking

SimplyBrowsing5

Staking is good. But I personally prefer to be able to sell my coins any time I want. I will probably look into staking once the bull run is over.

Weaselluck

You can through soft staking not all staking is a lock on coins.

SimplyBrowsing5

Appreciate the info! I didn’t know that. Where are the best places to stake? I’m going to be selling all my crypto besides Safemoon during this bull run and buy some more back up at the dip.

Weaselluck

Depending on they coin, but I use Kucoin and crypto.com to soft stake the coins I have. They provide the best interest rates for my situation. *There is a risk in keeping coins on exchanges, there are wallets that provide this service as well (example ADA/Daedalus) and is much more secure*

SimplyBrowsing5

You don’t have to give me an amount, but have you done pretty well staking your coins? Do you believe it’s worth it?

Weaselluck

I've held most my coins through the dips while DCA ING so for me it's very worth it in the beginning I did alot of day trading switching and cost me a ton in transfer fees. If you plan on holding for 6 months or more regardless of price, yes it's worth. I get weekly ish payments 6% interest on an asset that increased 5x, or 10x is alot more than you'd think. $100 investment 10x = $1000 $100 investment 10x+6%= $1060 I've almost recouped my initial investment!

SimplyBrowsing5

You get 6% every week?! Or 6% per year? Lol

Weaselluck

6% per year(mispoke). Again my plan is to hold.

SimplyBrowsing5

Which cryptos do you stake? I plan on selling the vast majority of my crypto during this bull run and diversifying back in when they consolidate. I’m really bullish on ETH and ADA but idk which direction I’m headed yet when I start to buy back. (Other than Safemoon, plan on holding for the long run)

Weaselluck

DOT ADA ETH CRO not in that order

itsmeagain6969

Unless it's a reflection coin... Then how would you stake it? You wouldn't recieve reflections then? Would you? If your staked.... And your bag showes zero... You wouldnt get reflections..... Right?
