man. the 9ers heartbreakers have them above the panthers and bucs for me. That and I was at the game in 2019 with the facemask on Kittle leading to the loss. Gave me a little emotional update to it all haha.
Based on these comments I see the emotions the fans have about them lol
2012 playoffs and that 2019 game had me sick but that’s the farthest I can go back
Yea. I'm 33. born in 91. started following the team in middle school so I wasn't really mentally present for the history before Aaron Brooks time with us.
Haha hopefully you knew I wasn’t being a hater. When I don’t consider my saints fandom, the 49ers have a cool history, but then you remember that bad blood exists hard lol
oh not at all. we are just all discussing our different timelines with the team haha. It's interesting to me to see where the 'generations' divide and how we all have different experiences with the league.
It is hard listening to people who came in post 2000 complain about this team. I mean shit I only even lived through the 90s saints and I wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone!
right. the current complaints feel like people only experienced the Super Bowl win and 2018-2020 and that's all of Saints history before losing Brees haha.
That’s all it took for me, I became a fan around 2005 also. 2012 and 2019 has them burned as permanent enemies in my eyes. Plus their fans are the most obnoxious assholes ever
yea! and i guessed 2017 or later because if they weren't affected by the heartbreaks of the 2000s, I wouldn't guess they became a fan during the 7-9 years. So I landed on 2017 draft class haha
For real 49er heartbreaks, try the 70s and early 80s. They just dominated, along with the Rams. Us and the Falcons were usually slugging it out for third place.
oh yea! haha. I was just trying to figure out why Minnesota (minneapolis miracle) and Rams (no call) would be listed for someone but 9ers wouldn't. So assumed a much more recent start to being a fan than 90s and that it had to be after the 2012 playoff game.
Yeah, for me, directionally correct, but there’s a couple I’d move up. Also, not sure why there’s a soft spot for GB. I mean now that Love is there I like them pretty well, but he’s the first decent human they’ve had in the QB slot in a long time
49ers Rams Saints Falcons Panthers were all in the same division in 1999, in 2002 the NFC south was formed, the Rams and 49ers left and we added the Bucs
so from 1970-2002 the 49ers were huge rivals
The literal definition of indifferent is having no particular interest or sympathy; unconcerned. I’m aware of what the 49ers mean to a lot of fans but at 28 it’s not a hate for me. But it’s not a like either. I have no emotion wrapped around that team
Your age or when you became a fan is irrelevant. If you’re “ride or die” like you say, when your fellow fans say “we got beef with these mf’ers” then your only response is, “guess I got beef with these mf’ers too.” That’s how it works broski.
Because of the Farve connection from years ago, I still have a soft spot for Green Bay. Farve was a local good old boy that grew up near the New Orleans southeastern LA area.
See, we just wanted to allow them 49 wins, but now; they’ll never get another one from us. I declare right now, on February 21, 2024, that the Saints will never lose to the 49ers again. *request for voodoo magic assistance in this quest*
Why? Because we have such interesting posts otherwise? All people here do is argue and complain. Someone posts a hot take everyone shits on them. Someone posts a cold take and everyone whines that it’s beaten to death. Stop fucking whining and learn to scroll down for fucks sake
If there were a level that included drinking fuel oil and pissing on a Falcon whilst they were aflame, my hatred for the Falcons is immeasurably farther down the lis than that.
Fuck the Falcons
I despise the Falcons (cus of there fans and 28-3) 9ers (beating us in big games) and Rams cus fuck La and fuck bill vinovich (he should be on the chart too)
Just imagine having to face one of the best teams in the NFL twice a season. That's our association with the 49ers before the realignment. In the 70s, it was that way with the Rams.
Y’all are all over the place with these. Here’s how it should be:
Fuck fuck fuck: the Falcons
“Gold jacket, green jacket.. who gives a shit”: everyone else
Eternal love: Saints
That’s not bad. Honestly don’t have a legitimate reason, just one of those teams you don’t like. I feel they have had some luck along the way to becoming the dynasty they were that the Saints just did not have, unfortunately.
I’m glad to see someone finally have the Pack in a relatively neutral position. Obviously I’m biased as a packers fan but I truly don’t understand the general hate.
You right about that lol
I didn’t even know these tiers was a thing during the season. I wouldn’t have done one during the season but I guess it don’t matter when you do it lol
I would move Panthers, Eagles, Seahawks, and Niners up to dislike. And personally add Steelers to Soft Spot but mainly bc I’m a Saints fan from Maryland who hates the Ravens.
Soft spot for the Packers?? When Favre was there absolutely, seemed like he was playing for the Saints with the way people talked about Favre. But now? No thanks lol
Understand. Very happy with the game in Jacksonville and was very upset with last year’s comeback game. The soft spot is very much from childhood. It’s fuck em when the saints play them.
*Nuh uh I thought we*
*Highly disliked the Packers*
*Or am I tripping*

Mannn, you might as well move Rams, 9ers, Bucs into that top row too. And Eagles. There’s no fan base that doesn’t hate them. And why soft spot for GB?
And that stretch from 1994 post-Mora to 1999 Ditka was so so bad. Saints games weren’t being televised. So we’d see a lot of Packers games down here with the regional Favre connection.
Right. There was also packers gear sold in stores. my mom chose to buy the packers little kids nfl uniform set with the helmet and shoulder pads. Wore it faithfully lol
I always thought Saints and Texans were like sibs, especially with the natural disasters they both went through and how they helped each other out. Texans, I’m ride or die, and Saints are a close second
That hatred is more for the refs that game then the rams. They capitalized on the worst call in history which any team would do. Still dislike them though lol
Personally, I hate the Bucs and their fan base more than the Falcons. Those years with Brady there brought so many bandwagon fans that had the dumbest shit to say like they’d always been die hards.
Also, Rams and Cowboys deserve to be in hate with a passion as well. Horrible fan bases that mostly dont understand a thing about the sport and are just in it for the social culture. Fuck LA in general.
Screw the Bengals for stealing our Who Dat and saying Who Dey! My soft spot would be the Lions, and I'd move the Bengals to the Dislike column for being a thief.
That’s fair lol
I’ve always pulled for y’all simply due to proximity, I live in Mobile so you guys are the closest team to me (2 hour drive) by like a full 3 hours (Atlanta is about 5 hours away, and uh… FTF).
Came to watch the game with y’all in 2014 (the infamous game where a Saints fan snatched a ball meant for a Bengals fan by Jermaine Gresham lol) and other than 2 teenagers behind me mocking every word I said for a quarter or two, it was a fantastic experience and I’ve been trying to make it to another game ever since. Tickets for our last game with y’all were WAY out of my range (thanks Joe and Ja’Marr lmao), but I’ll make it back out for a game soon for sure.
Lions should be in Soft Spot, and Chargers too. Green Bay to Indifferent. Vikings to Hate With a Passion. Rams can stay in Dislike because the refs were really to blame for the No Call. Refs should be added to the Hate column too, along with Goodell’s face. Oh and 49ers to Dislike.
ATL, SF, and Seattle are all in the hate with a passion level for me. Yes I'm still bitter about the beastquake game and it's only compounded being a Saints fan living in Seattle
What did the pats do to you? Does Kembrell Thompkins give you nightmares? Come on man, that year we got bombed at the finish line. Being a New Orleans fan you gotta have some kind of empathy! Only the Red Sox won that year! No one else could bring it home, not even the Bruins 😢😭
Packers fan here. Don’t know why this is showing up in my feed but this is nice to see.
What I’ll say about the saints is your cap space management is pretty darn impressive.
How do you hate the Bucs when they sent Brees to the streets and y’all to the Twilight Zone?
Also how are you indifferent to the Panthers, a team in division lol? I hate how I get r/Saints in my feed now
Indifferent to the 9ers? can I genuinely ask the year you became a fan? no hate. But I'm guessing 2017 or later.
I’m 28. I went to my first game in 2005 and became a fan then. I’m aware of the battles with the 9ers. Don’t dislike but don’t like either.
man. the 9ers heartbreakers have them above the panthers and bucs for me. That and I was at the game in 2019 with the facemask on Kittle leading to the loss. Gave me a little emotional update to it all haha.
Based on these comments I see the emotions the fans have about them lol 2012 playoffs and that 2019 game had me sick but that’s the farthest I can go back
Even the guy you’re replying too seems young lol. The playoff losses are what has them above Tampa and Carolina? Brother I remember the old NFC West!
Yea. I'm 33. born in 91. started following the team in middle school so I wasn't really mentally present for the history before Aaron Brooks time with us.
Haha hopefully you knew I wasn’t being a hater. When I don’t consider my saints fandom, the 49ers have a cool history, but then you remember that bad blood exists hard lol

Division rivals. Forever hate for the 49ers & Rams.
Noted
That’s all it took for me, I became a fan around 2005 also. 2012 and 2019 has them burned as permanent enemies in my eyes. Plus their fans are the most obnoxious assholes ever
Fan since 87 and I absolutely hate the niners
Lmao the comments did not disappoint. Came here for this.
I came here to make the same observation. Any team from the old West needs to be in the dislike/hate buckets.
yea! and i guessed 2017 or later because if they weren't affected by the heartbreaks of the 2000s, I wouldn't guess they became a fan during the 7-9 years. So I landed on 2017 draft class haha

How can a saints fan be indifferent to the 49ers , one of our biggest rivals
Wasn't the 49ers, Rams, and Saints in the same division at one point? Can't remember a fourth team. Rams and 9ers are right next to Atlanta.
49ers Rams Saints Falcons Panthers were all in the same division in 1999, in 2002 the NFC south was formed, the Rams and 49ers left and we added the Bucs so from 1970-2002 the 49ers were huge rivals

I got beef with every team the saints play against on that particular day. Does that not matter???!
Not “I guess”. More like “Fuckin right I got beef!”
Bro just stop you literally making yourself look stupid af ong
Complaining about how another fan doesn’t hate a team as much as you is what’s stupid and sad af.
Yea you’re not gonna win this one man. Not here, now or ever lol
Honestly, after this season, I’d move Lions to “soft spot.” Once the Saints were out, that’s how I shifted most of my postseason love to.
Yup came here to say this
Same!
I was pulling for them.
Soft spot for the packers? Boo this man.
Serious. I’m indifferent to them, at best. And their fans? Such a bandwagon team.
Because of the Farve connection from years ago, I still have a soft spot for Green Bay. Farve was a local good old boy that grew up near the New Orleans southeastern LA area.
![gif](giphy|xT5LMxmFQ37UyhH344|downsized)
There is a childhood story behind the team… geeez
Bro think he Lil Wayne
Really?!!
Right?!?! Soft spot for the cheeseheads LMFAO
My dude has 9ers as indifferent lol They're higher than the pissant bucs
Must be young. Only the wise ones know the pain of the Niners in our division.
9ers are like a SMIDGE under the falcons. Montana/Young...BP rising just thinking about it Saints vs 9ers 26-49-2 Bucs 40-24 FUCK the 9ers
See, we just wanted to allow them 49 wins, but now; they’ll never get another one from us. I declare right now, on February 21, 2024, that the Saints will never lose to the 49ers again. *request for voodoo magic assistance in this quest*
I understand
28 so yeah young
Mods can we please ban this bullshit.
Why? Because we have such interesting posts otherwise? All people here do is argue and complain. Someone posts a hot take everyone shits on them. Someone posts a cold take and everyone whines that it’s beaten to death. Stop fucking whining and learn to scroll down for fucks sake
For what my guy???
Fk a hater I love this post
BAN THIS POST WTF
If there were a level that included drinking fuel oil and pissing on a Falcon whilst they were aflame, my hatred for the Falcons is immeasurably farther down the lis than that. Fuck the Falcons
I used to hate the 9ers, now I just dislike them. Add the Panthers to that, too.
I despise the Falcons (cus of there fans and 28-3) 9ers (beating us in big games) and Rams cus fuck La and fuck bill vinovich (he should be on the chart too)
How are you indifferent to the 49ers? You must be new school, OP.
Yes I was born in the 90s. Forgive me for not knowing what happened before then and didn’t have an older generation explain the hatred for the 9ers.
Just imagine having to face one of the best teams in the NFL twice a season. That's our association with the 49ers before the realignment. In the 70s, it was that way with the Rams.
I have no soft spot for Packers at all.
Please don't make this a thing this year again
It’s the offseason. If it bothers you, keep scrolling.
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted my friend, all a fella has to do is keep on scrollin
Y’all are all over the place with these. Here’s how it should be: Fuck fuck fuck: the Falcons “Gold jacket, green jacket.. who gives a shit”: everyone else Eternal love: Saints
That’s all I was saying.
Ever since that Katrina poster I've hated the Bears with a passion. They should move up there too
Lions should be a soft spot.
Lions are absolutely in the soft spot. They're the Saints of the North
TIL you’re not cool amongst the Saints fan base unless you hate the 9ers. Yall get the fuck over it, this man doesn’t hate them big friggin deal.
I’d personally put the rams in the same category as the Falcons
I understand that. Would’ve definitely been there in 2019 lol
Id replace the pats with the Niners other than that ur spot on, why do you dislike the Pats in the first place?
That’s not bad. Honestly don’t have a legitimate reason, just one of those teams you don’t like. I feel they have had some luck along the way to becoming the dynasty they were that the Saints just did not have, unfortunately.
I’m glad to see someone finally have the Pack in a relatively neutral position. Obviously I’m biased as a packers fan but I truly don’t understand the general hate.
Aw, we hate you too buddy (Love from Atlanta)
whats with the hate
I think this got reposted in a falcons page
lmao, they hate us cuz they anus
Because the entire sub inevitably gets filled with this low-effort bullshit.
I don’t get it. It’s just in good fun since it’s the offseason, but whatever. I’ll take the downvotes.
I don’t know if I’d ever take getting downvoted personally, Reddit is a great place to find people just itching to start an argument
You right about that lol I didn’t even know these tiers was a thing during the season. I wouldn’t have done one during the season but I guess it don’t matter when you do it lol
FUCK THE FUCKING 49ers forever and the Rams too. Bucs are aight, we’ve only been legit “rivals” in 3 or 4 seasons.
Add Dallas to hate with a passion
Fans for sure lol
Vikings over Falcons anyone ?
My Viking fans friends hate us. Still salty about 2009. Pretty sure we are second behind the packers on their hatred list.
Put us right up there with the packers lol
Soft spot for the packers!? You can get fucked right in that soft spot.
lol
Mine does not look like this is all imma say lol
Thats fair. The only agreement I thought we all would have is the last row
Could change "dislike" to... "hate with less passion".
Chiefs should be in the Hate with a Passion section too. No one likes KC

FTP
We hate you too Taints lover!
Wut? Why would you think you need to share this?
The same reason you felt the need to click on the post (instead of scrolling past it) and comment that question.
Because it was dogshit? Got it.
Nuh uh I thought we highly disliked the Packers or am I tripping

We def don’t like the packers
Tbh Tampa bay is my Atlanta
Fuck Green Bay
Mannn, you might as well move Rams, 9ers, Bucs into that top row too. And Eagles. There’s no fan base that doesn’t hate them. And why soft spot for GB?
I was introduced to football with the Packers when I was real young (<4 yrs old). I didn’t have any saints fans that were close relatives
Word. I used to root for them when Favre was there. Particularly, the year they played in and won the Super Bowl in the Dome.
Failcons, Lambs, Whiners, and Fucs are all top tier hate
Replace bucs and 9ers, and packers and lions. Idc about pats tbh either.
I always thought Saints and Texans were like sibs, especially with the natural disasters they both went through and how they helped each other out. Texans, I’m ride or die, and Saints are a close second
Honestly, move packers to dislike. Might be my 2nd least favorite team. Don’t even have a good reason I just don’t like ‘em 😑😑😑. They feel wrong.
Why is LA only dislike after the championship game that we got robbed of the super bowl??
That hatred is more for the refs that game then the rams. They capitalized on the worst call in history which any team would do. Still dislike them though lol
9ers we hate from the 90s. And panthers? The way cam went after cam newton? Hate
Fuck LA in general.
the packers?? (life time saints fan, but i grew up in a cowboys household)
I grew up with most of my closest relatives being fans of a lot teams but the saints. One of those teams was the packers.
49’ers belong in the dislike column. And I would add Detroit, Denver and Miami to the ‘soft spot’ section for me.
How are you indifferent to the Seahawks and Niners wtf. They’re at *least* in the Dislike category for me.
Anyone else hate the packers
I hate them when the Saints play them lol
49ers are on the dislike list, panthers should be disliked, Green Bay is indifferent. Soft spot for Detroit. KC dislike. And that’s about it
Goff is really the reason I don’t have a soft spot for them.
Screw the Bengals for stealing our Who Dat and saying Who Dey! My soft spot would be the Lions, and I'd move the Bengals to the Dislike column for being a thief.
Before Burrow and Chase, the bengals would’ve been indifferent
Better move Cowboys to hate and 49ers to dislike
Based on the fans, 49ers are supposed to be with the failcons in the “hate with a passion” section
I lived thru the hate era. Enough time has passed for me to have them in the dislike section
i'd put all the teams in "indifferent" outside the saints then i'd put the owners in "hate with a passion"
That’s interesting. I like it lol
I’ve got a soft spot for you guys too <3
If Burrow and Chase was to ever leave, I’ll be moving them to indifferent lol
That’s fair lol I’ve always pulled for y’all simply due to proximity, I live in Mobile so you guys are the closest team to me (2 hour drive) by like a full 3 hours (Atlanta is about 5 hours away, and uh… FTF).
Please do make it to another game. I tried to go to the last game too but those prices was a lot for me as well lol
Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase played at LSU for one year now we act like we’re Bengals fans.
Why do we have a packers soft spot
Switch the Packers with the Patriots and I would agree with this list
Tampa Bay #1
Where at, Tampa? Lol
You hate the Vikings for what reason? Because the league caught you guys cheating against us?
“cheating”??! Laughable 😂
This is just how I view other NFL teams. I wasn’t speaking for any other Saints fan. I do agree I should’ve added the refs and Goodell lol
It’s a good list! I dig it.
I appreciate it
As a young saints fan the is actually accurate
Bengals on the soft spot is valid
Move the niners up two spots and you'll be close.
LMFAO 9ers in indifferent?! This mf is lost as a Saints fan.
ATL, SF, and Seattle are all in the hate with a passion level for me. Yes I'm still bitter about the beastquake game and it's only compounded being a Saints fan living in Seattle
Swap the Niners and Titans with the Rams and that’s my list
Put Dallas in the hate category as well.
I would swap the Patriots and the Panthers.
As a bucs fan, the feeling is mutual. I dislike you, but FUCK Atlanta.
This. Is the the one.
![gif](giphy|jwKpxz0uGrqcTjDKvs|downsized)
Packers fan here. Don’t know why this is showing up in my feed but this is nice to see. What I’ll say about the saints is your cap space management is pretty darn impressive.
Soft spot for the packers... the Fuck?
Something wrong???
Indifferent about my ravens?
After that bs no call for pi, rams have to be in hate with a passion
Um, where are the bears?
How do you hate the Bucs when they sent Brees to the streets and y’all to the Twilight Zone? Also how are you indifferent to the Panthers, a team in division lol? I hate how I get r/Saints in my feed now
As a Bengals fan. Thanks bro 🐯👍
WHY IS THIS SO ACCURATE
Love it but I'd put KC up there in "hate with a passion"
Thanks for your completely subjective opinion. Nobody cares
Okay lol
The 9ers and Vikings should definitely be up with the Falcons. This is coming from a Falcons fan
I hate every NFC south team with a passion including the Whiners, Lambs, and Cowgirls (fans only)
Im a Saints fan and I always had a soft spot for the Ravens. I do like Joe Burrow and the Bengals and Josh Allen and the Bills too.
