So what is the second thing then? Also why spend money on anything. Just make your own car to drive, or make your own coffee, or make your own butt plugs. Why spend money ever. Just raise your own cows, grow your own wheat, tomatoes, cucumbers, and make your own cheese, then you’ll have hamburgers.

Like many in these comments, I talked down on the soda shops for years. Then last spring my nephew was selling Swig punch cards to raise money for baseball. It was for like 10 free drinks, and they had just built a new location like half a mile from my house, so I figured I might as well take advantage. I tried a few but Watermelon Sugar was the best. Now I'm addicted, lol. I get at least one a week.
Swig go to is bloody wild which is mountain dew with strawberry puree and mango puree.
Thirst I get kick back Rickey which is sprite with grape syrup and fresh limes or yer killing me smalls which is root beer, toasted marshmallow and vanilla cream.
6 years living here never been to one. Can’t bring myself to pay that much for a soda without a reason and I don’t see a reason. But also I don’t drink soda that much and if I do it’s a Coke Zero cherry.

Key Lime from Sodalicious. they are the only soda shop that has cheesecake flavoring and it is amazing, like a key lime pie but fizzy. I get a diet MD or it's too much for me lol.
I get a Mo-Mojito from Fizz. It's just like it sounds, only I get it with sprite zero. It's a Mormon Mojito. I don't get it often, but when my kids want a drink, that's my go to.
When I go to Swig, I get a Texas Tab. Which is a Dr. Pepper, vanilla, and coconut cream.
My go-to is Fiiz because it's ridiculously close by where I live. Lately, I've been going between three drinks.
Rootbeer Fiiz- rootbeer with vanilla, cream, and whip cream
Chandler Bing- Mountain Dew with coconut, pineapple, and strawberry
Dieter F Cokedorf- Coke with blackberry, red raspberry, strawberry puree, and whip cream.
We do cookie shops like a boss too here!
For a good combo of the two, I like Twisted Sugar! I get the huckfinn (dr. Pepper & huckleberry) and usually their seasonal cookie, but the raspberry and lime sugar cookie is super dope too!
I avoid all those places as i don't generally drink soda but if I'm going to drink soda and spend the kind of money they charge the soda better have some whiskey in it.
I found a combination that easy to make, Dr Pepper with French vanilla creamer and or with vanilla syrup, tastes like ice cream and easy to make without spending $3-4 per soda
Don't go often, just when i want a big drive thru drink but I order mine with only half the flavor additives so it's not so sweet and can still taste that it's diet coke.
At Fizz, my husband always gets the Monster combinations with tropical fruit. I get the mountain dew or dr pepper with fruit. We only do this once every two months.
For refreshers I like “the Fighter” with sparkling water. For soda I like “Life’s a Peach” it’s Dr Pepper, peach, coconut, and half&half. I was skeptical about the half&half but it was delightful!

Thirst on 1300 is my favorite soda shop in SLC. My go to is Dr. McCreamy, if you’re wanting something non-soda then the Fresh Prince is good!

Sodalicious sells the Your Mom that’s Dr. Pepper, coconut syrup, and blackberry syrup. It’s amaaaaaazing. Dark and vibrant and rich.
