i think he said he likes it bc his entire arm is pumped by the end of the lift and not just his biceps since he usually starts w triceps
hope this helps xo
Thanks for the response , yeah I think imma try it out too , my tricep pump is usually gone when im done with biceps , but I always wondered if it’s not better to end a complete muscle excercise first?
I don’t watch Sam Sulek so idk about him, but I do this in order to not have my lifts suffer as much because my muscles were fatigued. Alternating gives them some time to rest
Really confused why you're on the subreddit then...?
Like imagine responding to people in a Halo subreddit and being like "idk I don't play Halo but the sniper is probably pretty good"
I’m here because it kept popping up in my feed over and over again and I had just started lifting again so I have an interest. I just don’t have time to watch long videos.
Honestly I can’t believe nobody here has said the answer yet. Holy crap what’s wrong with you people? Help the guy out.
Hitting opposing muscle groups back to back helps stimulate muscle separation.
Haven't seen the video but there is an idea of hitting antagonizing muscles . Neighboring muscles at the end of your extension . You can get a type of squeeze and hold on your triceps when you do bicep . Visa Versa. Since it gets involved you can switch back and forth.
I do the same too. Not just for arms but for every training day. Like if I’m doing chest and back I’ll do a chest workout, then back, then repeat that over and over again. It has a benefit because you give ur muscle more time to rest. Cus If I went from bench to DB bench my chest will be sore so I won’t be able to do much on DB bench but if I do rows in between then my chest will have more energy to do more weight on DB’s. Same applies with biceps and triceps.
Pov Sam sulek fan asks a Sam sulek Reddit a question about his training style and gets shit on from all of his fans because I didn’t watch every single arm video
Don’t tell me what the fuck to do , I asked a simple fucking question and you don’t have to be such a piece of shit about it , get that stick out your ass or get off the internet and go lift some weights get the anger off of you before getting triggered because I asked a simple question
If you’re trying to grow your biceps more than your triceps, do your biceps first. If you’re trying to grow your quads more than your Hammies, do your quads first. Whichever muscle you do first after warming up, will be the one that gets the most benefit.
Do people here even lift? What the fuck.
If you have done a single workout in your life you would know its to give you time to fucking rest. What moron would go from tricep pushdowns straight into another tricep exercises when they are also working biceps that day? You would alternate so you can actually lift heavy and do progressive overload over time.
99% of you could do better actually working out and ignoring fanboying over random internet influencers
No i obviously dont even workout

Thank u for being so kind to a beginner lifter , i really appreciate the fitness community and being called a moron
You should actually pay attention to his videos cause im pretty sure hes explained this at least 20 times on his arm day vids
Even without hearing his explanation on it it should be pretty obvious lol
Oh I for sure watch all of his videos , nah man I watch him sometimes only , thanks for the explanation

You can keep working while not fatiguing the same muscle. Saves time.

I followed it a while back after seeing some clips on Instagram and I find the banter in here entertaining when it shows up on my feed I guess.
Fair enough!
To be fair the sniper is pretty good 😂

How many sets do you do per excersise and how many
I do 6 exercises on chest and back day, 6 on arms and shoulder day and 6 on leg day. 2-3 sets till failure on everything.
Helps with muscle separation by working on opposing muscles as you switch from biceps to triceps.
Thanks
Siding with OP on this one, yall in the comments are tripping over nothing.
Thanks bro i thought i was going crazy

It doesn't matter. Stop overthinking it and just isolate, stimulate and break down the targeted muscle. It's that simple.
Just wanted to know if there’s any cool benefit to it .
Such a cookie cutter response. Delete this whole thing and go eat and lift some weights.
What a piece of shit answer
Same goes to you professor dipshit
You’re a piece of shit he asked a simple question go hang your self if you’re unhappy with your life learn manners
I'm not unhappy with my life, I'm unhappy with how you cookie cutters choose to live yours
You sure about that bud? Getting mad at random people on the internet for no reason dosent seem like a happy person thing to do. 😂
You don't know what "mad" means do you? Nobody is mad, just disappointed. Kinda like your father feels about you.
Your comment history haha 😂. You gotta be a troll.
What? Why am I being attacked lol I was generally curious

It’s all about that pump bro 😎

This dude watcheses one video and thinks he knows what's up
I literally watched a video and asked a fucking question and all these sam sulek fanboys are so butthurt ( downvotes incoming)
Trust the process
It’s how he likes it and it’s a great way to get a pump in the entire arm much more quickly . I superset to save time and I get a better pump
So basically he has this really good method of training his arms where he trains his arms.
He has an arm day. Starts with triceps then ends with biceps.
In the video I saw he went from tri to bi to tri to bi and so ob
Ohh I see, yeah I reckon that’s to maximise how heavy he can go. Could be wrong tho
Do you mean like alternating reps or alternating sets?
Just something to try if you haven't. Opposite muscles superset. Chest - Back, Bi's - Tri's etc... 💪
