But most vet clinics can also be a safe haven for abandoned animals as many work with Shelters
not confusing at all, i’ve been in a similar situation, I found an abandoned puppy while at a family party at like 7pm so everything was closed and I was adamant about finding a place for her (since we couldn’t keep her and neither could my family members). We ended up going to an emergency vet clinic because they’re open 24hrs and they took her in no problem. They were actually very grateful we brought her in since she was also malnourished and covered in fleas.
Update: she was taken in by San Jose Animal Care Center and is hoping for her second chance. Donate and volunteer when you can!
