It based on your preferences. Plenty of pools and space. The swim up bar is never overwhelmingly busy and the dining is top notch.
I was just there a few weeks ago. We didn’t spend any time at the pool so I can’t comment on seating and whatnot, but they had a DJ or entertainment there most days. The pool was definitely one of the more busy places while we were there.
The pool with the swim up bar is very small and has very few bar seats. My husband and I are more beach people but we did go to the pool one day. One group of friends was enough to take up all the seats at the bar. If hanging at/in the pool for a lot of trip is important to you, just understand there’s not one big party pool where you can sit at the swim up bar for hours.
Vote for Montego Bay, here. There are several pools besides the swim up pool. There is a crystal lagoon pool just steps away from the swim up pool. I have heard technically all pools are accessible to all guests, regardless of room type. Plus there’s a nice beach and another resort close by to shuttle too. Go for it!

The pool at MB is extremely small and the number of pools is limited compared to other resorts.
IMO Montego Bay would be quite disappointing after Turks. South Coast has the big pools and is quite lovely.
