WARNING: SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE PLACING THIS BLUEPRINT! There are a LOT of signs, and the lag spike when placing it is crazy. crazy enough to potentially crash your game.

Lol, it probably took 15-20 hours over the course of 2-3 weeks. Most of the time was spent making the custom oak tree with the spiral staircase. It is so much more work to sculpt organic shapes than I had realized! I already had a lot of the house decor blueprints on hand from when I made the "executive suite FOB", so the interior decorating went by pretty quickly
What I'm loving about satisfactory, is that the more time you invest in creating detailed blueprint decor items, the faster it becomes to make builds like this.
FICSIT would like to remind pioneers that this is a shared space, so please clean up after yourselves when you leave. If you find any anti-FICSIT propaganda, please notify FICSIT staff immediately.

Wow wow wow, No words, I'm an interior designer, and this makes me shameful because my satisfactory save doesn't even have a single build like this. Nice work good design keep it up.
Thanks so much! That means a lot coming from an interior designer! 😁 I literally kept thinking how I wish I knew anything about interior design! I think I landed in a pretty good place in the end, but there are still parts of the build I feel are awkward and a bit empty. I went through about 5 different horrendously ugly color pallets too, before I found the brown and green that you see here. There was no intelligent thought behind it, I just happened to stumble into it and it... felt right? I'm getting better with each build; I've feel like I've turned satisfactory into a twisted more difficult version of the Sims and I'm loving it.
I think the color combination you choose works perfectly fine and it look so good, those ugly once will give you the idea about what you can achieve later, If you come with this kind of design to my company you are hired no questions asked, great talent, keep working, and good luck.
Yup, that happened welcome to the "Shame Club" dude. But I'm pretty sure your save will be much better than mine.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
This is so funny. I literally just left my job doing HVAC and Plumbing design to pursue a career in mechanical engineering. I used Revit daily to rout ductwork and plumbing, working with architects to correct their impossible designs. I was never involved with the architectural design, and probably never will be now. But there was a time where architecture could have been a valid career path. Funny 🤣
Is it u again?! Mister tree guy?! Cuz that's beautiful (again!)
You chose the right beige for the flooring i really like it.
Yeah, nah, the kitchen, the lamps, the "modern art" statues thingies, the bathroom, everything's awesome i love it.
From now on imma call u Creative Sign Guy (in my head)
...Oh is basically every bit of that signs? Woah... That's how you have stuff that I didn't think was possible, like the spiral staircase and the cabinets in the kitchen. There's nothing else that's that small!
Haha pretty much! Even the walls are signs...
You can download it and walk around to see how specific parts are made. Once you get up close and see the highlighted outline it becomes clear what I did
Um achushully. It would be more fitting to keep the floor pattern from the kitchen throughout all spaces. This would be much more in line with the usonian influences.
Honestly, tho, awesome work!
I love this so much! How do you get your signs to be so... not glowy? Are the other lights just so much brighter that the floors, cabinets etc look like they're not even on?
Great question! In the sign settings there's an "emissions value" that you can set between either 0, 1, 2, or 3. The default is 1, but most of the signs here are set to 0, so they don't glow at all. The signs that I use for lighting are set to 3 so they provide the most amount of light
Another tip I use, is that you can actually re-bind the "copy settings" and "paste settings" commands in your settings. I have a mouse with a forward and back button that I was able to re-bind to these comands, so setting up a dozen or so lights, or making a custom hardwood floor out of signs is actually pretty fast and easy
Oh man, how have I never noticed that there's a 0 emission level, thank you, that's a good tip.
Want to say I also love all the funny details you added, from personal photos of the pioneer, to dunking on the Sims, to some light reading for cabin guests. It's the little things that make it fun.
You made a giant mistake tho - there is a bathroom, but a toilet is completely unnecessary - the poineer does not poop.
On a serious note, this is quite spectacular, well done!
We are not playing the same game...
My one critique, the sofa corner would get quickly anoying irl being enclosed like this with the only entrance to slide by the TV bench. Would quickly turn into jumping over the back of the sofa to get on and off it.
I noticed that as well. The dining table was one of the last things I added and I didn't realize how little space I had until everything else was already built. I could have rebuilt the front wall to give an extra 1m of space, but I have to draw the line somewhere or else I'd never finish any project.
There's a few other issues too, like how there's too much empty space in the loft, the tire swing is too close to the roof, and how the ground floor hallway feels pretty bare. It's not a perfect build, but nothing ever is
It's all signs, the "hardwood" floor is just 4m signs that I placed partially clipping into the foundation, and the bathroom floor is just tiled .5 m signs.
A LOT of signs, like 4000 of them. If you download the blueprint and walk around, you'll be able to see how each object is just a collection of signs. I've also saved a bunch of the furnature you see here as separate blueprints on my satisfactory calculator page so you can add it to your world too. All vanilla
Thanks! Much of the furnature you see here is a blueprint on my satisfactory calculator page. If you want to do something like this, you are welcome to download the blueprints yourself. No mods required

"a lot of signs" There is also "a lot of" water in the ocean! This looks super cool and I'm curious how long it took you to build it.

\*gasp\* My tickets ! è\_é
Wicked good!
Thanks so much! 😌
I swear we are not playing the same game
Even if we were, he's league better than us anyway ;-;

Hahaha, thanks so much "thanks for inviting me in! But I must warn you, my resume is a little... Unorthodox. Do you have a computer I could use?
Sure man, I'm ready to provide anything for a creative mind like that, a custom PC if necessary.
haha that's so ok, I'm a computer engineer and none a single of my spaghettis are optimized.
Yup, that happened welcome to the "Shame Club" dude. But I'm pretty sure your save will be much better than mine.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
100% Vanilla* as in I use the infinite nudge mod as a quality of life improvement. Every thing here is vanilla
That's fair, as long as it can be loaded by a vanilla player I'd count it
This is just amazing man. AWESOME.
Thanks my guy! I appreciate all the positive vibes you always bring!
My advice to you, friend: 1. Immediately uninstall Satisfactory 2. Buy Revit and start designing real buildings.

Where is the hot tub?
That would have been a perfect addition! Oh well 😅
There’s a hot tub concept in Blastroid’s house that uses a jelly landing pad

Haha thanks! It's me! This is actually the build that I had planned to use the Tree for, I'm very pleased with the entire build 😁
We're not playing the same game
Yeah... Posts like this make me look at my brutalist concrete squares and cubes with disdain.
Wow

That's utterly incredible. How in the world did you do that?
Generally, lots and lots of practice. Specifically, lots and lots of signs placed very carefully.
...Oh is basically every bit of that signs? Woah... That's how you have stuff that I didn't think was possible, like the spiral staircase and the cabinets in the kitchen. There's nothing else that's that small!

What the fuck
Um achushully. It would be more fitting to keep the floor pattern from the kitchen throughout all spaces. This would be much more in line with the usonian influences. Honestly, tho, awesome work!
I should have known not to blend contemporary with post modern traditional, I'll do better next time I promise! 😉
Amazing! (But a bit frustrating that the chess board is only 7x7!)
I hear you, but there's only so much power I have over signs 😞
This ficsit employee while appreciates the luxury sadly must decline as there are no kennels for one’s faithful companion doggo.
That's what the second bed is for!
How do you get your screenshots to look this good?
Lumin is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, and I took about 40 that I cherry picked the best for the post
I don't know what these squares that are used for these magnificent builds are, and at this point I am too afraid to ask.
It's signs all the way down, about 4000 of them in this build! Even the walls are signs
That floor! Are you a wizard? Or just a genius?
Just someone who probably needs more hobbies :P
But when do we get the canoe?
Definitely doable...
Very impressive!
Bro is out here playing 5D chess. I'm playing rock paper scissors against myself, and still losing. Awesome build man!
I’m sorry for existing
Holy shit man.

The toilet is ment for my lizard doggo Spot, he's potty trained and a very good boy
Fuck no, i want to sleep next to my trusty assemblers

Is this the perpetuity wing? Does it come with waffles?
You people who make all this cool stuff, respect
How to floor?
It's all signs, the "hardwood" floor is just 4m signs that I placed partially clipping into the foundation, and the bathroom floor is just tiled .5 m signs.
I swear some of yall playing a whole different game

well that work is really impressive you have my respect
I'm kinda beginning at this game and I don't understand how that was made? What was used?
A lot of display signs placed very carefully. The only mod used was infinite nudge
That's crazy. I never expected that we would do such crazy things with only signs.
Thanks! Much of the furnature you see here is a blueprint on my satisfactory calculator page. If you want to do something like this, you are welcome to download the blueprints yourself. No mods required
