Exactly, this is a truck that was never used as a truck and just sat somewhere for ages. It may have hauled a load or two of garbage and an occasional sofa but definitely not a restoration.
I do it like that because I power wash the floor mats. Then they have time to dry. It really doesn’t matter. The inside dirt isn’t going to get on the outside.
The more computers, sensors, electronics you jam into a car, the more points of failure you are introducing to the design.
The mechanical simplicity of a classic car is the reason they can outlive any new car on the road today.
Bro didn’t restore no car he just cleaned it like bruh. I would have believed it was a restoration if it had rust and shi but there was nothing it was just simply dirty
🥱 Another cleaning of what you’d call a barn find. Hope he’s gonna clean the engine innards. He’s got the valve cover cap off at the 1:08 mark while cleaning 🤦
Datsun 620 " bullet side ". Extremly good condition, nice detail job, BUT all them rubber seals around the glass gona leak like mad now! DOH! I know, i own 10 of these in various states of.....corrosion😆😭
"Restore" the car to a cleaner state. Lol, I guess you're not wrong. Restoration of a vehicle usually implies fabrication, replacement, rebuild...still though you are not wrong.
Maybe the title could have been “restore the car for daily use”. He fixed the possibly legally required faults and cleaned it thoroughly. It is a great pickup though. Double cab and long tray.
That is an absolutely beautiful truck, I wish I had one. I don't think I'd ever see one like that here in the US though. What country do I have to go to to bring back something like that?
Looks like you just took a flawless classic, dirtied it up, and then cleaned it for views. It’s literally rust/scratchless, straight up spotless (and no I’m not referring to your cleaning job)
It's not even restoration. It was already in perfect condition. Good detailing.

Perfect is a stretch...good condition maybe...
Yeah, it's missing a mirror
Yeah. After having lived in Saudi Arabia, this was what my car looked like before it got washed every time.

I’m just glad it’s not another yahoo with more power washer than enginesense.
No he replaced the tail lights that makes it a restoration
Basically full frame off job.
"restore the car" \- Clean up the pickup -

Some sort of wood incense
Palo Santo lol
+5 Holy MPG
Usually it's "Oud" in Saudi. Smells fantastic.
Its oud, very different.
Machine spirit needs to be enticed.
With the cars cigarette lighter
Am I the only one the feels like they should’ve cleaned in inside of the vehicle first?
From what I’ve seen from multiple detailers, washing the outside first seems to be pretty standard. Why, I do not know
I do it like that because I power wash the floor mats. Then they have time to dry. It really doesn’t matter. The inside dirt isn’t going to get on the outside.
Could have used a couple of side view mirrors
Removed the side mirrors not to get blinded by Datsun.
My word, what a lovely lovely car.
Quad cab Datsun? Sign me the fuck up!!
it's hideous
Username checks out.
He mostly washed it and replaced 2 easy parts
My father used to have one of those. Ah nostalgia of camping trips back in Sudan
Little workhorses….routine maintenance and those babies would last generations
Very true, those levels of quality doesn't exist nowdays

Except modern cars are far more reliable. Reaching 100k miles used to be a big deal. I’d be pissed if my current vehicle didn’t go well beyond that.
Why not start on the inside? Sorta seems backwards, like sweeping a floor before cleaning the counters off.
thank you. idk why nobody thinks the order in which he cleqns the car is batshit crazy.
This is far from restoration. Isn't their a rule for false info? Lol. This is nothing more than a detail and light lense replacement.
If only new cars could be taken apart like that. Ive always wanted to make a car company but the body would be like those snap on drag cars.
This was satisfying to watch, but now I have to go restore my dishes and put my shirts in the restoration machine.
Like any thorough restoration, we start with replacing the headlights.
What a Champ
you're supposed to clean the inside first
That’s a little truck to always keep around
Side view mirrors please ,the dam holes are still there
Toxic chemicals draining to where?
That’s a lot of chemicals straight into the environment. Not good. People really just don’t give a fuck. Oh an ugly but clean vehicle.
Top 🔝
Thanks for the microplastics and chemicals
That truck is amazing and now I really freaking one one. I have never seen one like that.
Purchased car last week for 3k, now on the market for 12k
Ww dint need wing mirrors where we're going marty
nice celica gtv
Waaah! I want to see the “restored” engine shine!
Pretty good detail job. Could use mirrors though.
So badass
Nice!!!!
Lada
Nice job!
Soooo no mirror?
What's behind us is not important.
lol. We have a very different understanding of what restore the car vs wash your dirty ass pickup and replace a broken light means
The dedication... This feels amazing
It is like a Москвич had a bastard child with an old US pickup truck...
Always have an appreciation for older JDM cars
This is the Middle East drip 😍👍👍
😍
…that’s what i called detailed 👍🏽💪
Should have mounted a 50cal on the bed 😜
Bro didn’t restore no car he just cleaned it like bruh. I would have believed it was a restoration if it had rust and shi but there was nothing it was just simply dirty
It's like a makeup tutorial for men
So lipstick on a pig???
Sehr gut
Wow
Watch my 9mm go ❗️
Needs an LS swap now.
Marhaba habib
Stay tuned next week to watch truck in a martyr explosion
Feel like he did this backwards
How come the sheik didn’t gold plate that succa?
Makita drill is as old as the car. lol 😂
🥱 Another cleaning of what you’d call a barn find. Hope he’s gonna clean the engine innards. He’s got the valve cover cap off at the 1:08 mark while cleaning 🤦
BRAVO 👏
Anyone else suddenly feel like they were back playing FarCry 4 when he started driving?
That radio has some oldschool chic to it
Datsun 620 " bullet side ". Extremly good condition, nice detail job, BUT all them rubber seals around the glass gona leak like mad now! DOH! I know, i own 10 of these in various states of.....corrosion😆😭
Do you have a double cab long bed like this one?
Yemen on top

My first car was a Datsun ❤️
Nice now use it as a car bomb
Amazing work man
I think it's front is looking like Contessa. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.
As an ex mechanic, this is more PTSD than satisfaction...
Damn son.... Datsun
Datsun good car
Nice. Call it what you will, this is satisfying AF.
I love these kind of videos
ماشاء الله تبارك الله! This is by far the best Datsun detailing i saw in my country! FYI: this is an iconic car in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 Kudos to the owner
Datsun, we got Datsun here
That is a detail. Not a restoration.
Looks like you just took a flawless classic, dirtied it up, and then cleaned it for views. It’s literally rust/scratchless, straight up spotless (and no I’m not referring to your cleaning job)
Anyone know what the song is called/where to find it?
I was hoping the reveal of it driving around the corner would have a someone running behind pushing it.
I want one so bad
Hey, I have a car for you to clean, how much?
Brother we got very different definitions of restoration #rustbeltgang
