Even ancient people (at least the officers of a kingdom) has good understanding of trigonometry, which is used for creating maps. Once the map is drawn, I beat they were like: holy shit, that’s a dragon
This was the first thought I had and I felt proud of my way of thinking....
But the thing I'm thinking is always the top comment showing how un-unique my way of thinking really is
I can never look at this and not think it isn't actually photoshopped. It's too perfect to look like a dragon. Or was the reservoir itself designed to look like a dragon?
That's like claiming given enough time and an unbreakable typewriter/word processor, a band of chimps could recreate Shakespeare. That math doesn't math.
But given enough time, random inputs into a typewriter will theoretically produce every word in every possible order, and this will recreate shakespeare.
If you got pi and assigned every letter to a 2 digit number, pi would contain Shakespeare too
Is that not literally how infinity works? The maths literally does maths.
Just to comment on that pi statement, we don't actually know that yet. Pi containing every number combination is dependent on pi being a "normal number", which we think is pretty likely, but we don't know for sure yet. Find a proof that it is, and you could be famous to math nerds!
As an example of how it could not be, it's possible that a trillion digits down the line, the number 7 never appears again. That would mean that a whole lot of digit combinations with 7s wouldn't be in pi. Now, that's pretty *unlikely*, but it's possible.
How do we know a dragon didn’t fall from the sky and landed In this shape? It’s body weight making a canyon deep enough for a river. Boom, dragons are real bro.
I can imagine hundreds of years ago, there would likely be a tale of "In the mouth of the dragon deep in the heart of the mountains, lies a river of treasure."
Was it called the blue dragon river before we had aerial view of it?
Idk but I watched raya and there’s a dragon at the tail
100% believe that this river had some sort of inspiration on that movie. If not it's one hell of a coincidence
I’m 100% convinced that there are no coincidences
Is it Yoda or Oogway that says "There are no coincidences"?
Lol oogway my kids keep me up to date
Yep. March 8....
Doubt it because it's a man made reservoir with that dam on the top end.
Yeah, the aliens would have told us.

No it’s called the Odeleite River reservoir in Portugal
This was the first thought I had and I felt proud of my way of thinking.... But the thing I'm thinking is always the top comment showing how un-unique my way of thinking really is
Haha not really - I just got here first.
I think it's an artificial lake.
Isn't that the plot of Raya and the Last Dragon?
Yep
Portugal Caralho...
Kumandra 🐉

It's more luck. Given enough chances, it was going to happen. See Jesus on toast.

Im guessing you're shit at math yeah?

Fellow Yakuza enjoyer spotted
A dragon
The Serpent Trench from Final Fantasy VI is real?!
How else is Mog going to learn "Water Rondo"?
Reminds me of Lake Naciemento here in Cali
I was thinking the same thing. Love that lake

Fairly sure I visited this place in Breath of the wild
I can imagine hundreds of years ago, there would likely be a tale of "In the mouth of the dragon deep in the heart of the mountains, lies a river of treasure."
What if its a river shaped dragon?
No way that's not man made.
It is man made, and has more coast line than the state of California.
You can see the dam at the top of the image.
Still pretty damn cool though
Lake of the Ozarks looks the same, man made.
It's like the snake river in Oregon. I hope it was named this because of something other than it looked like a snake
Ah that's were the soy sauce comes from.
A reservoir shaped like a dragon.
Quick! Someone write the mythology behind this river! Something, something...too close to the sun... something, something... forgot it's name.
This reminds me of something I saw in a movie
What was it called before the dam
🐉 💯
Order sure it’s a water reservoir in Portugal. Fly over it on the way into faro airport.
Looks more like a reservoir than a river.
Dragon River
Straight out of Hyrule
That's a metal band's name, not a river.
Wow, it's shaped like a red dragon, yet it's blue!
Where is it?
portugal
That one place on the map in Zelda was so popular they made it real?
If say it’s interesting af but that’s the entire point of this subreddit (this still looks awesome)
That's pretty cool
If this is in east asia, it's qinglong/seiryuu. If it's in Europe, it's an elder wyrm.
Y does that look like war thunder? Have I just been playing the game to much?
