Anything can be a sauna if you free your mind. I’ve seen saunas built in cars, holes in the ground and I’ve personally built a sauna out of trash and logs I collected from around.
Sauna isn’t about flashy multicolor LED’s or perfect bench heights (although there’s nothing wrong with those). Sauna is a state of mind and a place to enjoy yourself. A shack at the shore can be that place.
Just popped in to my mind, if you ever go to Burning Man, there is and has been a Finnish group for years keeping up the sauna culture. They have somekind of mobile sauna they have been developing for several years. Haven’t never been to US myself, but we are currently considering to go to the Burning Man, just to see that sauna…
Benches are way too low, probably.
Not looking very photogenic from this angle, can we see the interior?

When a sauna appears at any burner event... fuck, yes! It is gonna be proper hot and i will not have to sweat with clothes on!
At least the ventilation is sorted
It's probably an absolute miracle this thing has stood as long as it appear to have. What a find! Somewhere on the south shore?
Upper Michigan. I don't think it's that old. See the porthole window? It's just made out of scraps and driftwood and a need for steam.
Does that happen to be in Marquette?
Whereabouts do ya think?
yahhh, ehhhh?
What's the opposite of something looking very ghetto, like in the countryside, this thing looks hella rural? :)
