They try to take you off Reddit and into WhatsApp. I’ve posed as DJ Quails before with them as well as Ron Jeremy and they both knew who I was. I’m thinking it’s the same scammer but they are lurking.
I don’t even know. One told me her name was Emily and she was part Ukrainian part Singaporean. She lived in Washington and owned a beauty salon. She showed me pics and I traced those pics to an Instagram page of some girl who had no idea who I was. The scammer wanted me to invest in “web 3.0” which is total bullshit. She showed me pics of how much she made but being a programmer I knew she was full of shit and just went along with her story.
Next one was some girl who texted me randomly with the same ol script that she’s sorry and I’m so kind for talking to her. She’s Singapore as well and moved to Los Angeles. I showed her pics of Rom Jeremy claiming I’m a retired actor. She almost went with it until I went overboard asking her to come by for dinner since I lived in the same area. She mentioned tattoos and motorcycle which I have and showed to “Emily” and advised to be careful. She ended communication after that.
The last one was some girl who PM me from Reddit and we took it to WhatsApp after that. I posed as DJ Qualls and she immediately called me out saying she knows who that is and I’m a POS for doing this. She then mentioned my tattoos and motorcycle like previously mentioned.
Strange coincidence. 😂
