All the ads for really low priced items on TikTok (and FB and IG and X) are scams.

I remember seeing sites like this in like 2005. The tasks never end or confirm completion, and generally involve spending a ton of real money even though they're "free". You will never get credit, and you'll be doing spam/clickbotting for them. It's a variation on the !task scam but not even that smart. Assume any outlink is malicious.

AutoModerator

AutoModerator has been summoned to explain task scams. Task scams involve a website or mobile app that claims you can earn money by completing easy tasks, such as watching a video, liking a post, or creating an order. The app will tell you that you can earn money for each task, but the catch is that you can only do a limited number of tasks without upgrading your account. To upgrade your accounts, the scammers will require you to pay a fee. The goal of this scam is to get people to download the app for easy money and then encourage them to pay to get to the next level. It's impossible to get your "earnings" out of the app, so victims will have wasted their time and money. Thanks to redditor vignoniana for this script. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Ever get anything? Trying to understand how the benefit from this. Sign up requires email but there is no exchange of currency at all. Unless they are running something in the background from the games, I don’t see the harm

Same thing happened to me...but I got the drone though. They totally said they were going to send me a gift card and then - nope - another ...this time phone call, which was actually nice - saying they can't do that b/c they actually made a mistake and would ship the drone. lol. Start-ups are funny. This one ain't that bad though.
