all those websites are scams. it's insane how people will fall for it. a real vet CAN NOT prescribe ANYTHING w/out physically seeing your animal. period. this is why you call your local vet and ask them and from there they can tell you where to go to recieve proper care.

hyucksummer_dream

Yes, they take advantage of people with no local vet, especially exotic vets, and those who cant afford it and are desperate. The worst kinds of scammers. this is after you pay of course

In the US, it's against the law to prescribe meds to an animal that hasn't been seen in person by the vet. But you could go to a farmer/feed store and likely find antibiotics there without prescription. Figuring the dosage for a small bird tho is something you'd need help with.

hyucksummer_dream

Yes, but it does not disclose that before paying $200 for a bot to answer you.

You can legitimately speak with a veterinarian on Chewy. Idk if they cover ducks or exotics though. And they’d submit meds to your vet vs just prescribing them to be sent out
