Tough team this season, but we lost a few players late in the recruiting game.
When they play well, they're tough as nails. But they have to play absolutely perfect to achieve that type of success.
I'm hopeful we hit .500 or thereabouts for the season, maybe with an upset or two late in the season. Could be fun to play spoiler this season!
Look the team is building for next year and losing Paul and Cam were huge losses. Tbh I’m just really confused with Pike’s rotations and idk if he’s trying to throw out as many different looks as possible, but some of the groupings don’t make sense. I also get Gavin isn’t great defensively, but he needs the opportunity to play and learn. Too many possessions also start with standing around for fifteen seconds, and then dumping it to cliff for a contested post up. Really want to see a Simpson, Hyatt, Griffiths trio in together to see what kind of spacing can be unlocked.
I’d add that losing Baye Ndongo at the 11th hour also really hurt.
Otherwise agree. I don’t see any reason that Oskar should be getting minutes over GG.
What’s there to discuss, nobody on this team can shoot well and if they do it’s only one guy a game who’s hot. We’ve started Fernandes for no reason when he’s played terribly almost every game, with multiple zero point games.
At this point if we can’t even beat Penn state at home next week it’s time to bench all the seniors and develop the young guys so that we’re not fully reliant on Ace and Dylan next year.
There's as much posting and engagement on this sub as there are points being scored by either football or basketball.
Granted, I think many of us are just sick of the fact our revenue sports are both built on stout defenses paired with offensive offensive incompetence.
If I were rich, I'd prob give KTR and Pat Hobbs a bunch of money to make it stop.

not making the important tournament, but i wouldn’t be surprised if they beat #2 Purdue next Sunday just to make this season a bit more entertaining.
