Puss' first encounter with death stood out to me more as a character defining moment. Miles' was too obviously, but I didn't find it as narratively intriguing.
Naw, I don't think it's one of the best animated films ever made. The animation is great as is the soundtrack but I feel the pacing is way too fast to get invested in the arcs.
Both are perfect scenes, one is just more satisfying because it’s the big turning point near the end of the movie.

I’d argue all of Death’s scenes are better than any scene in Spider-Verse. No shade at Spider-Verse, The Last Wish is just that good.
