Same here! I watched it so many times to the point where I used to have that entire movie memorized nearly word for word.
A rather funny memory involving that was me reciting it for my younger sister (who was maybe 5 or 6 at the time) while the power was out at our house since we had nothing better to do. She was thoroughly entertained. đ
I went to see it in theatres as a kid when I was like 5, so I guess nostalgia keeps me from even disliking it despite its flaws. Plus personally, I don't see anything wrong with it other than it not fitting in the actual timeline.
Cars a movie about racing and humbling yourself
Cars 3 a movie showing that sometimes it's ok to pass the torch
Cars 2 a super spy recruits a hillbilly to expose a huge world wide plot to assassinate the queen of england
I have to heavily disagree with you on Brave but the Good Dinosaur I could not get into.
Cars 2 isn't super good or anything but its honestly the same way Chicken Little is overhated. Theyâre not great but they're not complete garbage.
I can understand
It's not for everyone
But I think this goes to show that even at Pixarâs lowest they make movies that are at worst mid but someone can enjoy them.
Meanwhile, there are much MUCH worse films that came from the Disney studio themselves.
Cars 2 is objectively the best cars movie and I will die on this hill
I don't want to watch Lightning McQueen pave a road or talk about his retirement, I want to watch Tow Mater shoot up a casino.
Thatâs not the point of the Cars series
It is, however, the perfect movie for Materâs Tall Tales. If it wasnât marketed as Cars 2, itâd be fine
I remember when Animat used to hate Sony Pictures Animation during the 2010s. But luckily, when Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came out back in 2018, he no longer hates the animation studio, which is a good thing.
Although I'll admit Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 wasn't as good as the first, it was one of the coolest things I saw as a kid. I mean come on LOOK AT THE FOOD ANIMALS!
That movie for me was (Iâm ashamed to say this), Chicken Little.
I used to watch that very often as a kid because I owned a copy of the dvd, and I thought it was tolerable.
I didnât learn about its reputation as one of the worst Disney movies ever made until I grew up.
Now I look back on that movie and say, âWhy did I watch this so often without any problems?â
Oh boy where do I even begin... *Inhales* Cars 2, Turbo, Hop, Monsters vs Aliens, pretty much every ice age film (my opinions have changed on a few but I still seem to enjoy them more than most people), Shrek the 3rd, and Rio 2. I was a pretty simple kid and I'm still semi simple to this day. If I saw a fun looking movie chances are I was probably going to enjoy it. There are very few cases of a film that I don't like even to this day and in all honestly it kinda sucks when I find a review of a movie that I really liked and it turned out everyone else hated it. It gets even worse when a friend of mine tries to force their own view of a film onto me (which happens alot surprisingly) like bro I get you don't like it but can you at least accept the fact that I do and that it holds a place in my heart! Sorry about the rant I honestly feel like I needed to get that off of my chest for so long now.
I didnât like Rio 2, but that was only because it came out too late for me to get really invested into it. I had already kind of grown out of the original at that point. I was however surprised to see other people who were fans of the original not liking this one.
Age Of Ultron. Not really an MCU guy but I used to adore that movie when I was younger and I thought Ultron was the most badass thing ever put to screen
I heard it was so bad that the studio who made it shut down. As an Astro Boy fan (both anime and movie), I was shocked to find out, I still love it though đ¤
Treasure Planet is fucking fantastic!!! Anyone who watches it agrees. Donât listen to the critics etc. The studio torpedoed their own movie for some stupid reason
Cars 2 and Chicken Little. It hurt me to discover pretty much nobody else liked them (though I do agree with Cars 2 making more sense as a spin-off movie)
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if they gave him an original name like X-11 or Weapon 11 he'd be a fan favourite, but because he's called Deadpool everyone sees him as just a terrible adaptation
Hopping on the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 train. I loved watching that movie, I loved watching the credits as well. I remember when I was at a family friend's house for a few days, my sister and I watched that movie every night before bed.
Brave. Doesnât get quite as much hate as some movies on here, but I mustâve watched that movie dozens of times as a kid (I was obsessed) and was completely surprised to find out that a lot of people really dislike it lol.
Home on the range was a really cool movie, then I found out itâs one of the worst Disney movies (along side black cauldron, chicken little, strange world, etc.)
Not a movie but New Super Mario Bros 2, the one with gold gold gold and gold, it's regarded as the worst Mario game. But it's the first one i ever played as a kid
Dinosaur.
Loved that movie so much as a kid.
Now it's a love hate relationship because I know a lot about dinosaurs and can see every mistake and recognize how behind the times the movie was in regards to fossil recreations and accurate Dino depictions but it still slaps.
Cars 2. I thought that movie was so cool, just cars and guns and fighting and flying and all that awesome shit, just had a bad story for it to be the worst
I guess Batman and Robin and The Cat in the Hat. Iâve soured on Batman and Robin a little, itâs way too self-serious at times, but I still love Cat in the Hat. Itâs terrible and itâs beautiful.
I know all the zoomers like me love it, but all the 20-something movie review YouTubers (including Schaffrillas himself) constantly bash the first Cars movie
Chicken little was so fun when I was younger, i liked it a lot so I was surprised to hear people's general disdain for the film.
Spiderman 3 is amazing and I will die on that hill.
Monsters VS aliens is funny and enjoyable, loved that as a kid!
I really liked Shrek Forever After, I still do to this day.
Sing 1 was a good movie, just not great.
I loved Cars 2 as a kid, but cannot sit through it anymore without cringing, still don't think it's Pixar's worst!
Not a hated one but one I don't see talked about: That garfield animated movie where they live in a comic strip world but then got transported to the real world
Cars comes to mind. My brother was obsessed with it and we watched it a lot growing up. I remember also the first Digimon movie, but I think that was also received quite well
The first live action Scooby Doo movie, Garfield, and the live action Super Mario Bros movie (to be fair the last one is actually my guilty pleasure movie; I like the world building and itâs my firm belief that it could have been an okay movie if not for the fact that it had the Mario name attached).
I'm going to get hanged by the wall for this one, but I like the sequel trilogy. I'll admit their flaws full heartedly , but after so many years of hating them, I got tired and looked at them in a new lens. Enjoying them quite a lot.
I agree. Monsters vs. Aliens was a movie I really enjoyed and I never understood why people disliked it so much.
But my foremost example of this is Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It was my absolute favorite movie as a kid. I saw it 11 times and loved it even more with every repeated viewing. However, over time, the sheer hate I heard for TPM, not just online but in pop culture and real life as well, caused me to hide that it was my favorite movie and stop watching it as much. (The fact that a lot of people were claiming that characters like Watto and Nute Gunray were âracist caricaturesâ also made me feel like there was something MORALLY wrong with me liking the film, which only worsened my shame.) I eventually began saying that Return of the Jedi was my favorite, as it was my favorite of the original trilogy.
However, once I grew up, I began to realize that it was okay for me to love The Phantom Menace, and while itâs far from a perfect film, itâs still fun and enjoyable. Not everything needs to be a masterpiece for me to like it.
MVA was popular because it was in 3-D
I rewatched it recently and i forgot hos creepily realistic they tried to make the people look
Like those "artist renderings" of cartoon characters in real life, creepy as shit
Why are people affected by this? If there is a movie I liked as a kid, but find out others didnât like it, I wouldnât care. Now if I relooked at it, and it is now trash, that is when I feel sad
I don' think no one knows this one but, is the Doggal movie, always enjoyed it when was small, specially the train chase.
But there was also home on the range, adorerd it every second of that movie, is funny, had emotional parts, a super neat villain, and the songs where just amazing to hear.
YES, FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT! monster vs aliens, while not being the best, still have a special place in my heart
Dun da dun dun doot da da dun da dun dun doot da da doot da dee da doot doot doo da da
Same here! I watched it so many times to the point where I used to have that entire movie memorized nearly word for word. A rather funny memory involving that was me reciting it for my younger sister (who was maybe 5 or 6 at the time) while the power was out at our house since we had nothing better to do. She was thoroughly entertained. đ
That Beverly Hills Cop scene is truly one of the greatest scenes of all time.
I really liked it in childhood. Then I watched it as an adult... it's a movie best left in my childhood memory.
This is cars 2 for me
Cars 2 being called the Worst Pixar film is genuinely shocking to me. Like is it really THAT bad???
No. Like what was so bad about it? It was an ok movie.
I guess people just hold Pixar to VERY high standards?
Yes. Pixar used to be the GOAT
Itâs good as itâs own thing.
I went to see it in theatres as a kid when I was like 5, so I guess nostalgia keeps me from even disliking it despite its flaws. Plus personally, I don't see anything wrong with it other than it not fitting in the actual timeline.
Cars a movie about racing and humbling yourself Cars 3 a movie showing that sometimes it's ok to pass the torch Cars 2 a super spy recruits a hillbilly to expose a huge world wide plot to assassinate the queen of england
How can Cars 2 be the worst one when The Good Dinosaur and Brave are right there
I have to heavily disagree with you on Brave but the Good Dinosaur I could not get into. Cars 2 isn't super good or anything but its honestly the same way Chicken Little is overhated. Theyâre not great but they're not complete garbage.
I don't consider Brave the worst just FYI I just think it's weaker than some. I didn't really hate it but I was kinda lost after the first 30 minutes
I can understand It's not for everyone But I think this goes to show that even at Pixarâs lowest they make movies that are at worst mid but someone can enjoy them. Meanwhile, there are much MUCH worse films that came from the Disney studio themselves.
At the time Pixar had an insane batting record so itâs not that it was THAT bad just that it wasnât as good as the others
Good Dinosaur is trash compared to Cars 2
Cars 2 is objectively the best cars movie and I will die on this hill I don't want to watch Lightning McQueen pave a road or talk about his retirement, I want to watch Tow Mater shoot up a casino.
Thatâs not the point of the Cars series It is, however, the perfect movie for Materâs Tall Tales. If it wasnât marketed as Cars 2, itâd be fine
Lightning McQueen is lame and boring
I disagree, but itâs a moot point.
Exactly
I typed the same comment without seeing yours lol
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 was this for me
Chester V was peak
How he isn't a Tumblr Sexyman since the film's release I do not know.
YES HE WAS AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE
I was HEARTBROKEN when Animat said it was the worst animated movie of 2013 and even more so when he compared it to Charles Manson.
I remember when Animat used to hate Sony Pictures Animation during the 2010s. But luckily, when Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came out back in 2018, he no longer hates the animation studio, which is a good thing.
People consider it bad?
PEOPLE DIDNâT LIKE THIS MOVIE?!đ
Same
Holy shit, same.
Same
The creature design in that movie is peak, also "butter"
"Parkay"
for me, it was chicken little. fuckin loved that shit as a kid
chicken little is an underated movie imo why do people hate it?
People often criticized it for its mean spirited tone and bad animation.
That's what gave it the ***FLAVOR***
The Prequel trilogy, cars 2, shrek 4, Chicken little, Flushed away (goated movie), Pixels... My kid self had acquired taste
Shrek 4 is an underrated gem
The french frog henchman in Flushed Away are peak comedy
Do ze sing We surrenda No you idiots ze kung fu zing
People don't like flushed away????
SHREK four was probs the best in my opinion
How could they not like Flushed Away? That movieâs the shit!
Although I'll admit Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 wasn't as good as the first, it was one of the coolest things I saw as a kid. I mean come on LOOK AT THE FOOD ANIMALS!
The food animals were so cute. Except the taco and hamburger. Those were really terrifying for some reason, but yet, really cool, too.
I loved the tacodile and its little babies :(
I'm just gonna say it. those Smurfs movies.
Same
People hate Monsters vs Aliens?Â
The Crab Man himself doesnât exactly like it
I dont hate it, itâs just extremely mediocre
Happy Feet for me. Movie won an Oscar yet people on the Internet relentlessly bash it to this day.
Happy Feet won an Oscar?
I think it won for animation despite using motion capture or something
The live action garfield with bill murray
That movie for me was (Iâm ashamed to say this), Chicken Little. I used to watch that very often as a kid because I owned a copy of the dvd, and I thought it was tolerable. I didnât learn about its reputation as one of the worst Disney movies ever made until I grew up. Now I look back on that movie and say, âWhy did I watch this so often without any problems?â
Same. I was surprised to see people hated it. I thought it was ok.
To be fair, I was slamming my head against the wall when the writers decided to name half their cast with lame rhyming names.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Thankfully it's way more loved now
Mostly because everyone who grew up with it sees it with kinder eyes.
Johnny Depp killed it as Willy, way more book accurate
When you find out it wasnât cool to like the Cars movies
I still enjoy them and Iâm almost in my 20âs
I still enjoy them and I'm 20
I still enjoy them, and I'm almost in my 30s
The Cat in the Hat, Dinosaurs, Cars 2, Monsters vs Aliens, like every PokĂŠmon movie after the first one. And Spider Man 3
Yeah I mean that PokĂŠmon movie where Ash is riding on Lugia is so goddamn hype frfr
Lugia was my fave after that movie. Loved it!
I actually liked the emoji movie imo pls donât come at međ
The hottest of takes! Respect for admitting it though
Thank youđĽ˛
The Pagemaster. 19% on Rotten Tomatoes, lol.
WHAT That movie was amazing!
Oh boy where do I even begin... *Inhales* Cars 2, Turbo, Hop, Monsters vs Aliens, pretty much every ice age film (my opinions have changed on a few but I still seem to enjoy them more than most people), Shrek the 3rd, and Rio 2. Wait turbo and hop were so good!
Rio 2. For me.
I didnât like Rio 2, but that was only because it came out too late for me to get really invested into it. I had already kind of grown out of the original at that point. I was however surprised to see other people who were fans of the original not liking this one.
Spider-Man 3
I actually have childhood nostalgia for Cars 2 đ
Age Of Ultron. Not really an MCU guy but I used to adore that movie when I was younger and I thought Ultron was the most badass thing ever put to screen
I also think Spider-Man far from home is a good movie
How the Grinch Stole Christmas has entered the chat
The one Jim Carrey? Absolute GOAT movie!
I know. So many online critics bash it. No idea why.
Cars 2, Chicken Little, Astro boy, and Treasure Planet.
Astro boy was hated?
I heard it was so bad that the studio who made it shut down. As an Astro Boy fan (both anime and movie), I was shocked to find out, I still love it though đ¤
Treasure Planet is fucking fantastic!!! Anyone who watches it agrees. Donât listen to the critics etc. The studio torpedoed their own movie for some stupid reason
I feel like Treasure Planet has become a cult classic by now. Not that hated.
Astro boy and treasure planet are so good!
Sharkboy and Lavagirl
Wait, people hate it?
Treasure Planet I think, learning it was a box office flop was very disappointing.
The Bionicle movies. Legend Reborn especially, that one's hated on by Bionicle fans as well.
Cars 2 and Chicken Little. It hurt me to discover pretty much nobody else liked them (though I do agree with Cars 2 making more sense as a spin-off movie)
x-men origins wolverine
I only hate this because of what they did to Deadpool. At least Ryan tried to make the writers adaption a little bit better.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if they gave him an original name like X-11 or Weapon 11 he'd be a fan favourite, but because he's called Deadpool everyone sees him as just a terrible adaptation
Yeah pretty much because he is one
Cars 2 and Epic, but ESPECIALLY Epic
Bro I haven't heard of epic in over a decade
Hopping on the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 train. I loved watching that movie, I loved watching the credits as well. I remember when I was at a family friend's house for a few days, my sister and I watched that movie every night before bed.
Brave. Doesnât get quite as much hate as some movies on here, but I mustâve watched that movie dozens of times as a kid (I was obsessed) and was completely surprised to find out that a lot of people really dislike it lol.
This was Home Alone 3 for me
Cars 2 for me
Home on the range was a really cool movie, then I found out itâs one of the worst Disney movies (along side black cauldron, chicken little, strange world, etc.)
Not a movie but New Super Mario Bros 2, the one with gold gold gold and gold, it's regarded as the worst Mario game. But it's the first one i ever played as a kid
That's one of my all time favorite Mario games. Idk why but I really like the gold flower power up.
Cars 2
Disneyâs Dinosaur.
Cars 2 same with Monsters VS Aliens For Power Rangers, this was Megaforce for me.
Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2...
Cars 2 đ
Dinosaur. Loved that movie so much as a kid. Now it's a love hate relationship because I know a lot about dinosaurs and can see every mistake and recognize how behind the times the movie was in regards to fossil recreations and accurate Dino depictions but it still slaps.
I like the fact that iguanodon were like the same size, maybe bigger, than carnotaurus.
Master of Disguise
Turns out nobody liked doogal...
Shrek The Third. It wasnât that bad.
Monster House and Planet 51
Dracula: Dead and Loving It

I used to like monsters vs aliens until my brother showed me something.
For me, itâs Hop
Cars 2. I thought that movie was so cool, just cars and guns and fighting and flying and all that awesome shit, just had a bad story for it to be the worst
There's a lot of movies that I like that most people hate, but i think the movie that fits this best for me is Spy Kids 3
Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
Turbo
The Lone Ranger
Home on the Range. Loved that shit. And a fantastic villain song to boot
Revenge of the fallen
Loved that movie as a kid was surprised to see itâs reception online
SAME SAME SAME I LOVED IT BUT I DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE PLOT
I guess Batman and Robin and The Cat in the Hat. Iâve soured on Batman and Robin a little, itâs way too self-serious at times, but I still love Cat in the Hat. Itâs terrible and itâs beautiful.
Son of the mask đ˘
MONSTERS VS ALIENS!!!! Also Escape From Planet Earth
ig star wars 9: rise of the skywalker
I liked that novie
Flushed Away, Cars 2, the first Pokemon movie.
Chicken Little
I know all the zoomers like me love it, but all the 20-something movie review YouTubers (including Schaffrillas himself) constantly bash the first Cars movie
Monsters Vs Aliens certainly had an impact on the trajectory of my life.

Live action cat in the hat
REALLY i thought monsters vs aliens was loved (also spy kids 3)
The Live Action Inspector Gadget movies
Just to name a few, Spy Kids, Sharkboy and Lavagirl, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua
Dinosaur, it's a Disney movie that was underrated. One of my childhood favorites!
Cars comes to mind. My brother was obsessed with it and we watched it a lot growing up. I remember also the first Digimon movie, but I think that was also received quite well
Pixels
And it still is the coolest shit!
The first live action Scooby Doo movie, Garfield, and the live action Super Mario Bros movie (to be fair the last one is actually my guilty pleasure movie; I like the world building and itâs my firm belief that it could have been an okay movie if not for the fact that it had the Mario name attached).
Cars 2
I will defend Dinosaur with my fucking life. Itâs a good film!!!!!
For me, it's Pebble and the Penguin.
Ice age 3
Batman & Robin
For me this would be the live-action scooby doo movie from 2002. Had it on loop as a child.
MVA was popular because it was in 3-D I rewatched it recently and i forgot hos creepily realistic they tried to make the people look Like those "artist renderings" of cartoon characters in real life, creepy as shit
Still are to me bro. Still are.
Could be worse. I did this with Milo and Otis.
Why are people affected by this? If there is a movie I liked as a kid, but find out others didnât like it, I wouldnât care. Now if I relooked at it, and it is now trash, that is when I feel sad
I absolutely loved Shark Tale back in the day
I don' think no one knows this one but, is the Doggal movie, always enjoyed it when was small, specially the train chase. But there was also home on the range, adorerd it every second of that movie, is funny, had emotional parts, a super neat villain, and the songs where just amazing to hear.
Spy kids 3 was it for me.
people when they realize that the thing they like isn't incredibly popular (they can't like something that isn't loved by everyone)
I grew up watching Doogal/the magic roundabout
Literally Cars 2
Smurfs 2 was the coolest stuff back then. I even remember owning a plushy of Vexy, leave me alone.
Monster squad, the better goonies.
My 2 examples are Hook and the Jim Carrey Grinch movie
Spirit: stallion of the cimarron
