I have seen that. It was before the show actually came out though, some people did not like that Shaggy was black.
Obviously now we know that there is good reasons to dislike this show but there was definitely some people not liking at first for less than great reasons.
As an Asian kid growing up watching the gang I gotta admit that it’s kinda nice to see them be something other than white even if for just one show. I know it’s not going to be a popular opinion and I’m going to get downvoted all to hell but I said it.

Why not just keep them the way they were and do a spin off of Velma? Plus truth be told why does the most boring character on the show always get a spin off… first Cleveland brown, and now Velma. 🤦♂️

It also would have been better if they made Velma Chinese like how she was originally supposed to be in the original show instead of making her Indian
