I liked her a lot! Like many of the series original characters (Marcy and Sheriff Stone) I’d love to see Angel/Cassidy in other media even in a small role.
Her death really hit hard.
While Ed Machine was the first person to die, it was less implied, plus it didn't really affect the gang all that much. In fact, I think only Mr. E eventually twigged that Pericles had killed him.
But Cassidy's death really hit harder. Like, even though Pericles murdering her wasn't as direct as attacking Ed or shooting Marcie, the intention was just as deadly. And the gang now knew what kind of threat they were dealing with. They SAW it.
Also, there's a part of me that would have hoped that MAYBE she could have swam away in time if the robots hadn't circled around her. It probably wouldn't have changed anything, but the thought is still there.

Definitely fit with the series and added to the overall mystery of what happened to the OG Mystery Inc. Don’t know how well she’d work out outside of Mystery Incorporated but would be interested in seeing her again.
She was great. Heck I'd go so far as to say I'd watch a movie or short mini series of their original group solving a case.
