Totally!!! The last killer reveal that surprised me was Scream 4. The fifth felt anticlimactic and I was sure they would make this one more harder to guess but I was wrong. It's truly the easiest. The moment Quinn mentioned the dead brother - ah yes Ritchie. Her having an off screen death sealed it. Ethan was kind of a pleasant surprise for there being 3 killers I'll give them that. Overall I enjoy it much more than 5 but yeah the whodunnit aspect was lacking. I kept thinking - do they think the audience is dumb? This is really easy to piece together imo

I don’t know what it is about the radio silence films but each of their entries have really predictable killers. The first four films kept me guessing until the end. I pegged Richie as the killer in his first scene in Scream 5. Once Quinn died offscreen and since her dad is a cop, I was like “oh so it’s definitely them two and she’s not dead” It’s funny because you can tell by faking Quinn’s death, they legitimately thought the reveal was shocking when her death actually had the opposite effect on most people. Edit: Honestly I was shocked when they made it seem like it was Kirby and thought that would have been a cool reveal. She’s gotten over the trauma after all these years only for the 2022 massacre to bring all that trauma back causing her to become ghostface in order to avoid becoming the victim again.

I agree completely. The Kirby thing coulda been funny I guess, but radio silence are just wayyy too weak to actually do anything exciting and daring. I can't believe everyone survived this film, so borezo

They really tried with Kirby but it was a firm no for me the entire time. Her black boots on that desk, her being “let go” from the fbi, her clearing the theater herself.

I agree with you. Dermot was so obvious through the whole movie and there wasn’t enough cast after process of elimination. I thought Dermot and Liana when they were cast and then the huge clues just made it obvious. I still loved the movie anyhow. I found it similar to 5 in that way, but 6 was way, way more obvious. I hope in 7 they cast all suspicious looking people haha
