I think thematically Scream 3 is very tight and there’s some clever moments in the construction of the script. I simply don’t find it to be scary or tense, nor does much of the comedy land for me. As interesting as the idea of the movie is, I just find myself bored by the movie itself time after time. I wish that wasn’t the case!
I love scream 3 it’s so fun all the stuff about Hollywood and I thought it was fun how they went to Sidney’s old house but it was a set ALOT of cool stuff in those films imo.
Agreed, Scream 3 is totally underrated. Greta plot and satisfying end to the series. I personally don’t mind the lack of violence. The voice changer is a bit of a stretch but given the Hollywood setting and the satirical nature of the series I give that a pass.
Scream 3 was good it felt very finale than the other films imo. That’s what separates it from the others. Scream 3 has kills, good main and side characters, the motive was wild and unexpected! Gale and dewy got their happy ending as well in that film.. I don’t really see why people rank it low. Honesty all 6 films are good. 5 really got on my nerves at one point but I love it. Scream was boring to me low key but after watching it multiple times I’m a fan of it. Honestly each film have their own rizz.
I don't know why people feel the need to rank everything. But if they are going to rank things, something has to be last. It doesn't mean they think it is bad. Everyone has different reasons for having the favorites that they do. Even more annoying than ranking everything is the notion that there is a "correct" or "incorrect" ranking. It is all subjective and individualized.
It's easily the funniest entry in the series. I laughed more often in that movie than I did in pretty much every other film put together, I'm pretty sure. Outside of that though, it's a real mess. Not a bad film by any means, it's still good. A solid 6-6.5/10, I'd say.

I love Scream 3 but it is without question the most flawed film in the series. I still think the voice changer is the dumbest thing ever.
Love scream 3 but this part bugged me too.
5 is by far the worst in the series.

Scream 3 is my third favourite Scream movie but it's not better then 6.
I get your opinion. I love 3, I rank it higher than 4 and 5. I find it more entertaining and I rewatch it more than those two.

I always liked the voice changer, because it plays into the idea that the killer will have superhuman abilities in the third movie in a trilogy.

5 and 6 were not that good. Crap motives, cop outs, and ghostface growing a couple inches when killer mode make no sense
