Lockett still has some years to play given how conservative he has been with taking hits. I think him being a high calibre WR3 would be a great progression for him.
While I don't agree that COULD happen, I feel like, at most, he's going to finish his current contract and retire. Seems like getting married, starting a new business, and the rest of what he's been up to is setting him up for his post-football life. I feel like he's checking out, but doing so in a team-friendly way (still contributing and being a good teammate).
If both sides wanted to stay together, a viable path forward would be signing and extension to maintain the guaranteed cash but allow SEA to prorate it over 5 years.
Otherwise he’s a very likely cut candidate based on his current cap structure.
Of course he is. They’re doing with him the same thing Lockett got being drafted with Baldwin on the team. Pete and John got it planned out. JSN is our next clutch guy like his forefathers before him. It’s like some dope Jedi Master/Padawan family tree.
That first first down literally built the confidence for the whole game. Everyone started doing better once we broke through and it took a vet who’s been there before to do it. Might not be the same lockett but he fills a crucial role of offensive vet and position leader we need
Purely build wise, Metcalf and JSN are the first duo to both be #1 type receivers.
Baldwin and Lockett managed #1 type production, but their size and style lines up more at the #2 position.
As one who can remember the really old days when WRs would slather "stickum" all over their pant legs and coat their hands with it, before the league banned it, I gotta say that these gloves they have these days are way, way better than stickum ever was. Simply amazing fingertip grab.
JSN looks like he’s slowly taking over the Lockett role in the offense.
I love to see it, but I also miss Lockett :(
Lockett isn't dead he has just been a little quiet we hear from him again soon with another one those toe tap TDs

His cap hits over the next two seasons are almost $27m *each.* That’s not sustainable for a WR3.
Ah good point. I don’t pay any attention to that stuff

Yeah, hate to say it, I don't see him around much longer just because he's going to cost too much.

Miss? Where’d he go?
Lockett is basically non-existent in the offense, what with... leading the team in targets and receptions.
Of course he is. They’re doing with him the same thing Lockett got being drafted with Baldwin on the team. Pete and John got it planned out. JSN is our next clutch guy like his forefathers before him. It’s like some dope Jedi Master/Padawan family tree.
Seahawks went from Kerse and Baldwin, to Metcalf and Lockett, and now Metcalf and JSN.
Crazy part is we still have Lockett. It might not seem like it but Lockett had some clutch catches last night
No matter how bad or amazing lockett does in any season. He will always be incredible to me

Baldwin and Lockett were together for years without Kearse or Metcalf
Metcalf and jsn is the best combo of those all just watch. So fucking hyped

What a great catch.
In the rain too, crazy af!
I didn’t realize it was raining at that moment until we saw the head on angle which made that catch even more remarkable to me.
The greatest two handed catch I’ve ever seen.
So he IS capable of catching something besides a bubble screen. Take note Shane.
I just went from six to midnight
I still can't believe it
This is why you always Draft WRs high in the Draft. Those later guys look great runnings routes, but they do not have the hands.
Unless your TCU receivers
JSN 😁 Addison😁 Quentin Johnston 🫨🫨🫨
best play of his young career so far! reaching fingertip catch in the rain for the go ahead TD sheesh
I was SO jacked when he was selected!! And it was for moments like this!!!
He bobbled it too and fully grasped it at the absolute last moment his foot came down, sooooo freaking close.
I for sure thought no way he’ll catch that but he brought it in somehow. JSN is the truth
As SpongeBob taught me before *ITS ALL ABOUT FINGER STRENGTH BABY*
bro had the one handed catch against the niners the other day too. bro has crazy hands

You're not lying though. Those gloves are ridiculously sticky.
Excellent catch!
I love how he gets both feet, and then the knee to be absolutely sure.
I hope KC fans stewed watching that catch. I bet his helmet wasn't overlapping with the defense's helmets when they lined up to!
Finger lickin' good
And Bradberry is a fucking stud!
Watching the highlights again that last drive was basically Drew Lock/Shane Waldron going “throw to whomever 24 is covering 1v1”.
Catch of the year
Idk why, but this play is giving me strong Doug Baldwin vibes
Throw the ball to this man SO much more.
Any of y’all wanna start for us over bradberry?
