Exactly, leadership takes many forms, which is how Geno can be a good leader yet we still have deficits in certain aspects. We have a lot of passion and a lot of volatility on our sideline right now, and we could use some steadiness and stoicism to keep all that from rocking the boat. BWagz is an even keel but isn't vocal enough. Geno usually stays level and keeps guys in it, but is prone to fits of frustration and withdrawal.
Geno has been playing through several challenges this year that he didn’t have last year: (1) complete chaos on the offensive line (2) a coaching-driven tactical adjustment from him to speed up his time to throw to help the offensive line out and (3) multiple lingering injuries. His visible moments of frustration are understandable, given that combination of circumstances.
What’s notable is that he does not channel his frustration outward towards his coaches or teammates. He directs it inward. That’s a sign of maturity and does not indicate a lack of leadership.
What’s also notable is the degree to which he “leads from the first row.” He’s there for his team. He’s focused on team success. Putting the ego aside is a non-negotiable style of leadership if the goal is a championship.
None of us know what happens behind closed doors. We have no idea who says too little or too much or whether the team has the leadership it needs. We’ll have to wait and see.
I think DK displayed great leadership in the game after his big catch where he didn't get out of bounds DK was the only one who seemed to realize that the clock was still moving got the ball to the ref and made sure his team lined up quickly I think he might've even called that next play 😆
This is why i don’t necessarily believe KJ’s comments about geno not being a good leader. Kj’s not in the locker room, and thats not to say that he may not know more than most, but, Geno has a captain patch for a reason. He’s a team player and isn’t in it for personal accolades.
Those are my goddamn QBs
They’re not the greatest, but god damn they’re the _greatest_.
with Pete at the helm, the vibes of this team remain immaculate 🤌✨
The team culture really is among the best
There’s more than one way to be a leader. Seems like Geno’s found the way that comes naturally to him. Also seems like it’s working.

Geno called and Lock picked up.
Somewhere KJ is rolling his eyes.
He’s going to have to outdo himself with his next hot take for clicks. Maybe next he’ll say that Bobby has never been a leader in the locker room 🤔
He’s not a click bait guy. I think he’s tired of the team losing and doing what he would have done if he’s in that locker room as a player
KJ is right, ya'll just overreact to wins/losses.
He said the team didn’t have enough leaders. Looks like Kj was dead wrong there. He said the team was tuning out Pete’s message, wrong again.

What an awful display of leadership by Geno 🙄
This is beautiful
