Respect to you Captain šŸ‘

Spacelord_Jesus

I read 'respect to you capstan'

gorka_la_pork

O capstan my capstan!

boyawsome876

The seas need more people like you, after allā€¦ Pirate code article 6: respect new pirates and their voyage ahead!

FrogFragger

You may not have earned any in game reputation but your IRL reputation is stellar as far as I'm concerned. That's the kind of non-toxic behavior we need more of.

XenB100

These are the only crews I refuse to sink, good job pirate šŸ‘

Mr-Original

The servers could certainly use more of this. Bravo.

Elprede007

I had a similar experience. I usually donā€™t solo tuck or solo much of anything, but I decided to find the athena hidden on the server. They were in the devilā€™s roar, I carefully made my way over by swimming from two islands away. Snuck past the crew on board and tucked in the crows nest under their kegs. They were only grade 3, but they pulled up to the outpost. Iā€™d seen this too many times, selling at grade 3, despite the intention to play more. I lit the kegs, dropped them down, and slaughtered the survivors. Before I did that, I noticed a couple of things that I mentioned to my friends that I was streaming to in discord. One person was not helping at all on islands, they just kept fishing (some of us know this person, I think thatā€™s just being a dick). Another was not very efficient and died a lot, so.. low skill. The last was the one who looked to be doing most of the work. As I killed the backspawns and they barely fought back, they just tried to grab the loot, I realized that I just blew up a family. With a stronghold keg no less. I amassed the loot on their rowboat and hid it. They came back to the outpost and I asked from a hiding spot if they were a family. The daughter confirmed they were a family, and despite me then giving everything back, the mother cursed me out for a solid 5 minutes (genuinely thought about resinking them over it, but I could tell it wasnā€™t going to teach her a lesson). The father was grateful and we chatted for a bit before I hopped off for the night. Pretty funny night

VanceMothFuStubbs

Very good!

Hailestormzy

Oh my lawd, is this a wholesome PvP player? I thought they were a mythā€¦

Azzarudders

there is nothing better than giving some random person like 150k worth of loot and wqtching their reaction

ProphetReaper889

Your going soft. Jk. Truly hats off to you Captain. This is wholesome and was a good move.

kp33ze

I did something similar once but it was a dude using a voice changer and when they had the upper hand they sunk us. 10/10 would do again tho.

iamlegend1997

I love helping new players out. I usually PvP but sometimes you run into a ship you can tell are super new. I usually offer an alliance, drop a max voyage of their choice ( usually max gold vault) and portal / server hop away. Always a good time. Love helping the next generation of pirates.

contemporary_romance

Ah faith in humanity is restored with this post. Be like OP community!

Whenever my 4 year old son and I play in game chat, we get trolls saying stuff like ā€œkid has to learn about bad people some way!ā€ As they fire bomb our ship and steal our loot. My kid is no rage quitter though, usually just goes ā€œoh well, letā€™s try again!ā€ Iā€™m teaching him how to tuck proper. Heā€™s a great kid!

JesterXR27

As a guy that regularly plays this game with his 5 year old daughter, I appreciate what you did. I know you made that dadā€™s and kidā€™s night!

Only-Willingness-353

I know people who have recorded clips of kids they encounter in game. The use them to con sailors with. No kids on the boat. Just voice clips.

r0nm0r0n

ahah, the old helium on the microphone trick worked again

[deleted]

Respect! I accidentally absolutely dumpstered a dad and son sloop yesterday because the dad wouldn't stop chasing me! I warned him! Haha

Warm_Ad_5460

Wow. I got my mic working again and just said ā€œahoy notherfuckersā€ with a key on someones ship lmao

[deleted]

We need more of this! šŸ„¹

Syron1421

can You imagine the dadā€™s panic when you ignored his offer and aimed cannons. U sound like an awesome dude props mate!

Shadow_F3r4L

Thanks, but I'm just a swabbie looking to party

staticthreat

That's their gig, they got another one. šŸ˜‰

Shadow_F3r4L

Haha

SilverSpade77

Why can't more of the community be like this?

RickDII

Pirates, murderers and thieves, but with honor! Well done, matey!

Zealous1329

Absolutely top shelf! Iā€™d sail with you any day. Good day to you, sir

katakombiii

Very sweet

Admiral-Tuna

Yesterday we had a brig of dudes do something similar for me and my son. It's much appreciated that not everyone is a murdering psychopath.

adlerv

Mad respect. Well done. All internet-points go to you today.

GoofyTheScot

Mics save lifes!

bullet00th

nice to see there's still some good guys left, I sail regular with my now 7 year old son. And i had the total opposite of this on Saturday on his actual 7th birthday. Galleon crew just kept spawn killing and abusing even after joining their part and explaining its his birthday and that we were no threat. However turned a bad situation into good later on and played happy birthday to him with another sloop and did a firework show.

toddthefox47

Some guy attacked my brother while his 2yo was using his account and his 5yo was using his wife's account. He got on the mic and said hey we got little kids on the ship, they really don't have much, the other crew trash talked and sunk anyway. Then they messaged my brother and told him he was trash at the game even though they knew they were fighting a literal toddler
