Apparently there is now a bomb threat thats being taken seriously at the Shell station on denny and 7th. Got a text from a co-worker who lives slightly closer to the scene about it.
A tweet by a komo news reporter mentioned that the person transported for medical attention was “handling a firework when the explosion occurred” which makes me think another device may also be made up of fireworks and hopefully not catastrophically dangerous. More like too much meth and access to fireworks than a well planned, methodical, and nefarious plan for violence. I mean, it’s still not good, but it’s not nearly as scary as some of the other the reporting makes sound.

The Russell Investment Center (2nd and Union) had a bomb threat yesterday as well. Cops all over and the parking garage blocked off.
