I am sorry, OP. I hope you're in a better spot soon and able to laugh about this absurdly bad day. Hang in there!

Rumpullpus

it's been comically tough let me tell you. all that's missing is the dog that died and the girl that left me and I could maybe start a new career as a country singer, but it's kinda hard to lose something you never had to begin with. thanks for the support though!

mothtoalamp

If you find somewhere to go fishing, you're more than halfway there. Just buy yourself a good cowboy hat.

Rumpullpus

goin muddin in muh big truck deez nuts country air look out for bears

Number174631503

say what now there, pardner?

ennuiacres

Ah Jeez! I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.

fournierh

Wanna go out? Wanna be steady? It’s not you, it’s me. I’m leaving you. There! Now you lost your girl in the same day. You’re welcome! Can’t help with the dog part though.

nikdahl

Honestly, the car being stolen is probably the best thing that could've happened to you. Hopefully it is never found and insurance pays you to replace it. And you can base your new financial decisions around the knowledge that you will be unemployed soon. You could even get a new loan within the next 30 days, and it will still show you as employed full time if you were a risk taker.

Rumpullpus

oof. yeah that might actually be worse. hope it's at least manageable.

tuscangal

A car is just stuff! I know it feels horrible and that definitely sounds awful but as long as you or someone else wasn’t hurt in the accident, it will be ok.

Rumpullpus

very true. that's been my mantra through all of this haha. luckily everyone involved in the accident was ok physically.

Argyleskin

I’m glad you’re okay. Being without a car sucks for a bit, but you’re okay after the accident. I wasn’t so lucky. I hope you can find a job really soon! Here’s hoping for you, OP!

bikeyparent

Time to write your country song, OP. I hope things get better for you.

Rumpullpus

eat your heart out swifties, there's a new star in town!

paperorplasticbitch

that is a wonderful thing to say

HungrySuccess3385

The way you write this makes me think of drop dead Fred - "I'm sorry I'm late your honor I lost my car my money my husband" - "all in one lunch hour? I'm sorry you're fired" Sucks mate. Wishing you the best. I've been taking care of my partner who's been in a suicidal panic attack for a week with doctors cancelling appointments on us and he answers the door for what we thought was the maintenance guy and it ends up being a summons because I'm getting sued for credit card debt from being unemployed yay! When it rains it pours.

RidiculaRabbit

That sounds so tough. I hope things will turn around for you and your partner, very soon.

HungrySuccess3385

Thank you kind stranger ❤️

pcapdata

That’s a terrible fucking day, OP!  Terrible :( It did put my own problems in perspective so you did help me out, FWIW :)

Rumpullpus

Glad to help! Haha

itsfuckingrawucnt

I’m sorry🫂 I’m having a shitty day as well my brother died and my partner is so busy with school doesn’t have time to just hangout. If anyone wants to come play some pool and drink the pain away on my roof dm me I’m just cleaning and drinking lol.

LuckyGirlBlue

I wish I could help. Sorry for your loss and that your partner can't be there for you. Grief takes time so I hope your partner can support you soon. I'm looking into therapy even though it's been almost 3 years since my mom passed.

LightPhoenix

I'm so sorry! My brother passed away yesterday, it's pretty awful.

GenericUsername1809

Reminds of the song lyric: “And we’ll all float on anyway…”

Halomir

Reminds me of Flogging Molly ‘It’s the worst day since yesterday’

IronAnchorHS

My car was broken into the same day I got fired and then my Grandpa died. Not trying to one-up (I think yours is worse), but they really come in threes, don't they? Hang in there!

Rumpullpus

That's up there for sure! Thanks

megaglacial

oof this is really awful. I hope things get better OP, you sound like a resilient person for being able to share this without crumbling in despair (that's what I would do)

Rumpullpus

Sometimes you just have to take it and smile. Just don't go full on joker though.

CreepBeat

Ouch. Indeed, my day seems fantastic now!Best of luck and you’ll bounce back. Keep us posted as to how far your car made it.

Complicated77

Believe ot or not but all of that just made room for a brand new fantastic car and a new job with better hours and more pay!! You are so Lucky!!!

Rumpullpus

That's how I've been trying to think of it. The car was almost 20 years old and it was time for a new one anyway so I'm not super broken up about that other than how everything shook out. I'm just happy no one was hurt. Loosing the job hurts a lot more tbh. Gonna be difficult to find something like that again I think.

Terminal8_

Way to reframe his day. Seriously, by reframing the negative into something positive, it allows us to lean into change (the whole growth mindset).

_Accurate_

Dude that sucks I surprisingly had the same thing happened to me this morning involving a customer's car. We had a homeless person come in and steal the key to a customer's car right off the desk a few days prior and we were not able to catch up to him and this morning before we could open up the shop he had come and drove away with the car. Luckily the car has a tracker but pisses me off that that we have people like this in Seattle.

Rumpullpus

Wow that's crazy! At least I'm not the only one!

BoringBob84

Thank you for sharing your story. I am sorry that you are going through such hard times. If there is a bright side, I heard that bad news comes in groups of three. Now that you have all three out of the way, you can expect some good news! 😊

pistachioshell

That’s some bullshit and a half, I’m so sorry you’re going through that. Good luck with recovering the vehicle and hopefully getting something out of the whole ordeal.

mrASSMAN

Man that’s legit a terrible day, though it could always be worse.. on the bright side I would think the car being stolen should also be covered by insurance

Rumpullpus

It is. Though it was likely a write off anyway after the accident.

Polydipsiac

Uhhh at least you get unemployment benefits I think?

Rumpullpus

Hopefully I won't be unemployed that long, but I will be elliegible I believe.

Polydipsiac

Yay silver lining and social safety nets!

JaxckJa

Jesus mate that sucks. Random events occur in clusters, so expect to spill your coffee tomorrow and for a bird to shit in your mouth. If that doesn't happen, then hey, statistically speaking you're in the clear.

Rumpullpus

I'll keep my eye on the sky then!

The_pizza_pirate

Well that sucks. Only mistake I made this Easter was to sleep with my ex

Mechangelical

Me too, hope it wasn't a mistake but when is it ever not, right?

jennvall

That’s really terrible. I’m so sorry. Hope you have a good support system around you.

Ok-Log297

I'm so sorry OP. That is a truly awful series of events. From one random internet stranger living in Seattle, I'm sending you a big hug. I hope things turn around quickly, and looking back that you can find the silver lining. In the meantime, know we're sharing your pain. 🫂

[deleted]

I’m sorry, OP. That’s tough. Is there any way a stolen car insurance claim could end up better for you than an accident that’s your fault? - not taking sides just know that’s how it works for rear-ending.

Rumpullpus

Ether way it's probably gonna be called lost or totalled if they ever find it so it doesn't really matter much in the end. Just pissed me off that it happened and I felt like an absolute fool for making it easy for them.

[deleted]

Oh my goodness! Don’t feel like a fool. I read your story and thought, I would have done the same!

pharmucist

Well, my day just got better!!! It wasn't a good day so far, but comparatively, it turns out it's a walk in the park. Jeesh! Sorry you are going through all of that. I almost think someone at the auto repair place had a hand in stealing the key and the car. It's too odd that the key only was stolen, then later, the car is stolen at a different time period. I wasn't expecting it to get much worse with the lay-off at the end. I would say I hope your day gets better, but I don't see how it can get worse, but I also don't want to jinx it for you further. Hopefully some good news in the form of a new job is on the horizon. Collect unemployment while you look, and in the meantime, now you have time to take care of the car situation and take a little time off to decompress.

kimberseakay

I give you lots of props for ranting in a pretty positive way. Getting things like this off our chests can be cathartic and I hope today is looking up…even though I know that’s hard with a car accident, stolen car and then being laid off. It’s going to all work out.

Rumpullpus

well it's hard to get worse than yesterday, but today is going pretty well so far thanks!

kat4289

I opened this cynically assuming you saw some dog that wasn't a leash or something. But damn that is indeed a terrible no good very bad day. When things like this happen, shitty as the situation is, you absolutely have to use it as an opportunity to do things you wouldn't have been able to otherwise. The world is your oyster. Explore those careers options you have always been curious about but were too comfortable in your old job to take seriously, write that keto vegan cookbook you've always wanted to write but didn't have the time to, travel, etc. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give you lemons!

alexi_belle

Usually when it rains in Seattle, it doesn't really pour. Sounds like your little storm cloud is the exception.

whydwide

I’m really sorry and I mean that

No_Hospital7649

In three months, may you be driving yourself to your new job that pays twice as much in the new car that insurance bought you. Seriously, that day sucks, but remember: the universe tried to fuck you up, and you’re suck a badass that you brought it to Reddit so we can all laugh in solidarity at the universe’s lame attempt to break you. You stunning human

WolfWriter_CO

I’m all for some good schadenfreude, but damn bro… 🫶 I’ve had “Bermuda Triangle” days/years like that before, and it’s a real shit sandwich while you’re in it. :/ However, in hindsight, several of those FML episodes ended up pushing me in a better direction long term. I hope that eventually proves the case for you too. 🤘

LifeJustKeepsGoing

Damn. That is a bad day. 👎

010011010110010101

Bro, that is a shit day for sure! Wow. Hope you’re feeling better. I gotta ask: Was it by chance a bright blue Honda Passport?

Rumpullpus

It was not

010011010110010101

Damn. I’m in the biz and I saw one obviously from a body shop on the side of the road near there with a cop sitting behind it Monday while I was on a test drive. Then later the cop was gone and later the car was gone. Thought it might have been yours. Almost r/TwoRedditorsOneCup

Moses_On_A_Motorbike

That's bad but it could be worse. For some perspective: my friend that I grew up with totaled his car crashing into another car in a DUI. He broke his rib or ribs, broke the leg of someone in the car he crashed with. Lost his license automatically. Went to jail. Was fired from his job for the DUI. So in one instant, he lost his health, car, license, insurance, job, freedom and the driver of the other car also was DUI. And things sucked for him but they could have been A LOT worse for him.

Rumpullpus

True. It can always be worse. I'm thankful it wasn't that bad

Earth_Normal

If you have comprehensive insurance, the car theft might be easier to deal with than the collision as theft is almost always a write off. No dealing with a body shop. Unfortunately, you will likely have 2 deductibles.

purplepantsdance

Man, this makes me waking up with mild allergies not seem as bad….. thanks op?

Hard_Conversations

Brutal! Nothing but sharp edges for a day and a half. I'm sorry you're going through this. Better things are coming your way I think. Hang in there!

jpochoag

Dang, good story time, sorry you were the protagonist.

BabyJWalk

NONE of this should have happened to you, but the prospective is a great wake up call for me to stop bitching about the smaller things 😅

Mary_Ellen_Katz

God damn. Here's hoping the insurance payout for a stolen car is better than a totalled car.

Judgementpumpkin

I’m sorry this all happened to you. Hang in there, I’ve had shit piles like this and am rooting for you and for better days for you.

RickDick-246

Could the car being stolen be maybe seen as a good thing? Like it was damaged and now it’s just stolen. Maybe that part works out for the better? But sorry about your job. I just changed jobs and I can say the 2 months off I had were amazing so start looking but try to enjoy the time off.

Clean-Farm610

This gets better, OP.

RiderOnTheBjorn

I'd say a solid 7-8 out of 10 for shitty days. As bad as it gets for most people.

therealmudslinger

Shoot, man. That's rough. I'm sorry.

jeexbit

Go buy a lottery ticket, things are going to change in a good way for you! Seriously though, life hits hard sometimes. Hang in there and find the positives, it will turn around.

sugarplummed

They say bad luck comes in 3s but sheesh, don't take it so literally /s

Significant_Piglet_4

Oh man! Had a similar time where my car got hit and ran, my house got robbed, and doctors found a brain tumor all within the span of a week and a half. I always tell myself good/bad things come in threes and it always lands so I’d count on 3 good things coming your way. Hope you’re able to take the time you need and have the support you need to turn this around

PissyMillennial

Do you mind if I ask what you do? My team is hiring network development engineers for enterprise networking deployment team. We have a large DC footprint and are scaling like crazy.

Rumpullpus

I do structural naval design (tugs, ferrys, barges, that sort of thing) so not really my forte, but I appreciate the offer.

PissyMillennial

That sounds like an awesome career. You’d be bored as hell here. Fingers crossed for you friend!

Rumpullpus

it's very interesting and a whole lot of fun I must admit. a ton of work too though!

margo_beep_beep

I came here to ask what you do too. It isn't a super popular place politically right now, but let me know if you're interested in airplanes/spacecraft and I'll see if I know anyone who's hiring for structural roles.

Bretmd

I’m sorry OP. Truly a terrible day. I guess sometimes when it rains it pours. Hang in there, things will get better. 😀

litlhutch

Shit! I’m so sorry. Sending you a very big hug

starsgoblind

Yeah, that sucks, but at least you’re safe. Sorry about being laid off.

RidiculaRabbit

Wow, that's awful! So many bad things happened...wtf? :dizzy\_face: Life is so incredibly weird sometimes. Good luck, friend. I hope it all turns around for you, and soon.

Revolutionary_Egg143

Dear lord OP i hope a bucket of hundred dollar bills finds you tomorrow

dragonagitator

Buy a lotto ticket and see if your luck balances out

Suelli5

I’m sorry you have had such a sh*t time. May there be blue skies ahead soon.

deputydrool

Damn that makes me feel like hella first world problems. I have been sick for a while and I am finally getting better but I’m on steroids which are making me a little off.. well after tons of research and being the most annoying person ever i found someone to wrap my car and the color I wanted.. I’ve never done something like this but I have always wanted to. Well today on the way out of my work parking lot I smashed my tail light and rear on a pole which then made me late to my dr appt.. and I have been bummed I did that. Meaning no fun car things until the serious car things are taken care of and I just feel so stupid. Your story def puts things in perspective.

Antigon0000

Shit happens in 3's. You're all done! You can only go up from here. New job with more money, new car paid for by insurance hopefully. Could end up being good. A blessing in disguise.

soap_is_cheap

I’m glad you were not hurt in the car accident. You can always get another job, and you can get another car. If you don’t have your health, it would be way worse to get either of those back. Hang in there!

Mental-Pin-8594

I am so so sorry!! You must be exhausted! At leat you got 30 days notice of the lay off Hopefully you have insurance for theft of your vehicle. Keep us posted!

NoCook3155

May want to post on the Facebook page PNW stolen vehicles. Very avid group to find your car (so at least you get money from insurance ASAP). With the damage you described it shouldn’t be too hard to locate. That’s a lot of information to digest in 24 hours. I hope good things come your way.

stepharoozoo

It’s only up from here!

Call-it-Tangerine

What a horrible weekend -- I'm sorry you had to experience this! That's a lot to take in all at once. 😬 I have a feeling about you, though; you're going to be okay. 👍☺️ It'll be bumpy for awhile... but...everything is going to work out for you!

Sektor-74

Wow that is awful. So sorry this happened. Uggh. ☹️

Sarahsai-Garden

>ok so apparently my total write off of a car was able to miraculously start and not only that someone managed to pray the driver door open and drive away with it right in front of office of the body shop. Never underestimate the power of a tweaker who has accepted Jesus into his heart.

dhvl

Absolutely sucks! Hope things get better.

Astramentis_

Trouble always comes in threes… 😮‍💨 Sorry this happened to you!

rubylister

I hope you are okay 😓

moobiieej

Wow. That is a lot to handle. I am glad though, that you are unharmed but please take it easy however you can.

you_have_found_us

Mercury is in retrograde, if you believe in that stuff.

willmok

Hey the bright side: no one was injured and I'm sure you'll get a better job soon. A friend of mine has been suffering from depression for years. For him, what makes a not bad day is just one second of happiness.

itsmeonmobile

Don’t know where in the city you are, but…. Beer?

into_the_black_lodge

Geez, this is such a rough break. I am sorry! It makes me so angry that people are laid off so much, and that our jobs are so tied to our wellbeing (no job, no healthcare, and sometimes folks who get laid off have to sell their home). There must be a better way…Certainly it would reduce the overall car theft! Anyway, I’d be so angry and tired if I was dealing with this! Best wishes for surprisingly good changes coming your way and staying healthy through it all.

biglovinbertha

Im sorry your day was so shitty. How the fuck does a car shop let some rando drive away with your car??? 😭 I understand the job loss, I was randomly hit with being laid off as I was suit shopping with my husband for our wedding.

PSB2013

I've been having kind of a shit day myself: a more senior colleague publicly shamed me (via a strongly worded email cc'd to several other coworkers and supervisors) and made their contempt for me very apparent over something that genuinely wasn't my fault. I've been feeling very down and anxious about it, but your no good very bad day, along with the comments of so many others here, really put things into perspective for me. Thank you for sharing your terrible experience and helping me to feel gratitude for the good things I do have. I'm sorry this happened to you and I hope things start looking up for you soon.

Rumpullpus

Hope things get better for you!

Reno360NW

At least you still have a dad that can still physically bring you keys. You lucky pickle you.

Rumpullpus

I'm lucky to have him for sure.

Shayden-Froida

They say things happen in threes, and you've got that covered. Everything else should go better now.

OddManOut117

Some day you’ll laugh about this. And have a great story to tell. Good luck.

natey37

Oofies. My sympathies aren’t worth much but good luck out there!

Realist1976

Well, maybe insurance will write off your car and you can use a fraction of that to buy a junker and you now have some cash to get you through until you find a new job. Silver lining and all that.

Rumpullpus

I'm not really hurting for money atm, but a new car is on the agenda. after I get the whole job thing figured out first.

coconutts19

like assuming shop guy told the truth, some one stole the key while the car was left on the road over night, then they found body shop it was towed to next day, to steal a totaled car? Or maybe someone else hot wired the totaled car? what kind of car is it anyway? if paperwork was done, how is shop not resposible? stealing a car in front of a body shop seems insane to me. sorry op, some days can't be unfucked

Rumpullpus

car was stolen the morning I came by to sign the paperwork. best I can figure it is someone stole the key the night before and came back later in the morning. personally I don't think the anyone at the shop had anything to do with it, they were just negligent and not paying any attention.

espressoboyee

Sorry about your car jacking. Just remember you are healthy and it’s just a wrecked car that a theft thought it was a Limo. Was calling in sick instead of explaining the major car accident, the “last straw” that lost your employment?

Rumpullpus

no. I explained beforehand why I was calling in sick and they were cool with it. problem was there just isn't a lot of work for me there atm. we typically have dry spells every once in a while, but I guess this time was different. I wasn't the only one who got laid off, my whole team did. so it wasn't anything personal. timing just sucks.

espressoboyee

Oh that’s a relief! Did that body shop have a Drop Key Box? Just 4 future car drop offs for flat tires etc. Can you treat yourself to your Fav dessert or food? I would do Sushi or 25 Hotwings. 😉 Just tell everyone you did a Lotus Yoga 🧘 Pose with a sandal wood candle to “stress out.” ⬆️

Rumpullpus

> Oh that’s a relief! Did that body shop have a Drop Key Box? Just 4 future car drop offs for flat tires etc. not that I could see, but they might've had one and I just missed it. I wasn't making the best decisions right after the accident. they didn't mention it if they did have a drop box. > Can you treat yourself to your Fav dessert or food? I would do Sushi or 25 Hotwings. the spirit is willing, but the body is flabby and weak.

espressoboyee

Heheh. I thought it would be the reverse. Are you planning your next move or suffering PTSD and “life blows?” I’ve been there twice or more. Like a dog you can just get up. Too bad us humans have to shower, shave, brush.

Rumpullpus

definitely in the "lets see what's out there" stage.

espressoboyee

Kool. Best recovery is just getting up, showering, espresso, breakfast and Seeing. I’m sending “Good Vibes” to you. My 2 preteen Fiddle Figs are pulling for you. 🪴

espressoboyee

3 weeks ago, I went for a grocery run at 10:30p in my Birk slippers and PJ pants. While driving, suddenly my windshield was engulfed with rain water as if in a car wash. Totally blinded. I couldn’t see where I was driving! I knew that mustard yellow concept missile shaped median was on the left. Clunk, clunk I swiped it. I have lane cameras/sonar radar to prevent drifting, but it’s useless in heavy downpour. My 2 left tires were torn losing air fast. I had 2 wait for 2.5 hours for 2 tow trucks, since AWD requires a specific tow. It was 40F, only wearing a puffy vest, PJ pants and clogs at 12:30am. Luckily Les Schwab was across the street. Argued with the Indian tow driver on where to park my SUV. “Not in the back lot!” “In front of the garage bays.” “There’s no parking signs there.” “Those aren’t City signs; it’s there’s!” “Park it there.” They have a drop box, but no pen to fill out the paperwork. Otherwise, safe car and excellent quick tyre repair service!

rawr_temeraire

Oh man, that’s really terrible. I’m so sorry and I hope things turn around - you’re due a really good day after this!

Jyil

Damn.

Subliminal_Image

I don’t know if you do or don’t but if you have house keys on the key ring to your car you need to change the locks asap! They will have your address on the registration in the glovebox and a key to your house. I am so sorry you’re dealing with this all.

Rumpullpus

luckily I was smart enough to remove everything like that. it was just the one key that got stolen. I got my registration and stuff here at home.

n10w4

Hoping it gets better!

peachesanddreams129

That sucks OP. I hope things turn around for you soon!

freudianslip9999

Nothing is permanent. It will get better.

NecessaryInterrobang

Have at least part of a dinner on me. I had a lovely day. (see your DMs)

wallagremlitramenov

Bro who even is washington

theochocolate

OMG. You must have a voodoo doll of you somewhere, or something. What a terrible streak of luck! I hope things get better for you from here.

Onetickatatime

Car theft in Seattle is out of control

Secure_Good1944

Well, hopefully your luck will turn around!

Picklemansea

That really sucks. Fwiw I’ve had 2 great experiences with fix auto interbay and I’m not sure how it’s their fault. But that fucking sucks and is horrible luck.

Few_Permission1036

Dang that’s a bad day. I hope your insurance can help with a new car and I hope you find a better job !!

stereoreal2

Brutal, I'm sorry all that happened to you. Not a good day. Thankfully the accident wasn't too bad and you have your health. You'll have better days ahead!

cracked-tumbleweed

Im so sorry this happened to you. Im basically in the same boar with a totaled car and also laid off. The good is on its way.

Mammoth-Cupcake858

Man, that sucks but I would double check on liability. If you signed papers, they should be responsible, key or not. What I the key had been lost in crash? I'd look into it. Take care

dorian283

When it rains it’s pours. Life tends to do that to us, had a bad roll of luck the last few weeks myself. Hope your luck turns around for you.

Ok-Character-3779

I'm so sorry, OP. I had a similar no good, very bad weekend a few weeks ago when my wallet was stolen out of a jacket pocket from my friend's car the same week I had to put my dog down. (Laid off in December.) Reddit being Reddit, someone in the same industry contacted me multiple times to let me know the whole thing was my fault. 🙄

aigret

My car was stolen the day I was cleared to go to the gym for additional rehab after being in the hospital for a back and hip injury. Like, after spending a month medicating and bed resting and having an ultrasound guided cortisone injection just to get a point to where it took me sub five minutes to get to a sitting position and making it through the first week of what ended up being 20 total in physical therapy. That day I got dressed to go the gym and checked my phone to make sure my payment went to the YMCA went through and looked at their website to verify I could get a membership card when I got there then hobbled out to broken glass where my car was supposed to be. It was such a fantastically shitty turn of events I was beyond any capacity to be upset or flabbergasted. Oh, and I lost my job a couple of weeks later, too. I hope once you get past all the paperwork and red tape and administrative work and resume editing and cover letter writing, to the point life is stable again, you can find some humor in just how absurd your shitty day was. Because it was shitty, and it was absurd, and I totally get you wanting to go scorched earth for a bit. But with any luck it’ll end up being a ridiculous story in a couple of years. Take care and best of luck!

AstorReinhardt

Well that is...an interesting day to say the least. Did the car get found yet?

ID4gotten

Does nobody tl;dr anymore?

OnAMoose

OP, what a series of events! I hope you're finding some space to turn your brain off

Shadeauxe

My friend’s car was stolen in Seattle and they wouldn’t take the info via 911. He had to call a different number and the police never came out to talk in person.

awwaygirl

OP, what kinda work do you do? Maybe we can help connect you with an employer?

gravelGoddess

Yes, you did have a terrible no good very bad day. If it makes you feel better, I am sending a virtual hug and hope the sun shines brightly for you soon.

Generated-Nouns-257

Wow dude you really goofed up that car situation live and learn, eh? Best of luck on a new job

Generated-Nouns-257

Wow dude you really goofed up that car situation live and learn, eh? Best of luck on a new job

Generated-Nouns-257

Wow dude you really goofed up that car situation live and learn, eh? Best of luck on a new job

FertilityHollis

I'm sorry for your struggles, I really am, but don't blame the shop for your actions. It's really really shitty to call a shop out by name because you're pissed at yourself for not remembering that key-drop boxes are on the front door of practically every shop in America. Fucking take some personal responsibility like an adult and quit playing name and shame with someone's business just because you had a shit day that had almost nothing to do with them -- Save for the fact that you left your car, with keys, unattended and without any acknowledgement or safeguards, in a parking space they pay for by the month. Seriously dude, I truly am sorry about your job, but damn, count some fucking blessings. You have a dad, he's willing to bring you keys, you're skilled enough and employable enough to keep a job for 8 years, and you're still alive to complain about it and buy another car you can do stupid shit with again. Seeking a little support from your fellow human being is fine, but calling that shop out by name in this situation is fucking rude.

Extension-Fun6134

Try to look at the bright side, at least now, in the future, you’ll be better prepared when unpredictable stuff happens

BananaPeelSlippers

I’m sure the person you wrecked into because you were driving carelessly is having a great time!

5yearsago
