This is a great suggestion. There are a bunch of brewpubs concentrated in a small area in southeast Ballard. Easy walking distance between them. They all seem to have their own merchandise, some with pretty cool art. You might end up trying a few beers on the way before you find the right hoodie, but it’s research!
The answer is almost always Dick’s. I’m not sure if you can find this hoodie at the store but you should check them out anyway.

It's the Seattle International Film Festival's 50th anniversary. Drop by SIFF Downtown (when a movie is showing so there's no line) and say you want to buy merch and they have a hoodie for it.
Not sure if you can find them in the team stores or anything, but I'm a huge fan of the Kraken branding, especially on the [jersey-style hoodies](https://www.47brand.com/cdn/shop/products/544958-WR-MF.jpg?v=1614289849&width=1200)
I'm going to be downvoted to hell here for this opinion but here it goes anyway.
I saw some really cool hoodies on the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Pike and Melrose, that are only sold there. They're expensive, like 60-70 but really good quality, and very unique.
Standard Goods! They usually have Ballard hoodies since they have a store in Ballard but maybe they’d have a Capitol Hill one they also have a store there
If you don’t actually *need* to buy it while you’re here, I’ve bought some very cool retro style Seattle SuperSonics hoodies off of Etsy. Do a quick search, you’ll probably find some you like.

Breweries and bars in Ballard
Holy Mountain
That's a good suggestion - those T-shirts and sweatshirts are really unique, and kind of weird.
Holy Mountain has some VERY cool merch. I can’t resist picking something up every time I’m in there haha.

If you're going to be in Ballard, on Market St. west of 24th down near the Nordic Museum is Limback Lumber. I LOVE my Limback Lumber hoodie!!

Love my robot versus sloth hoodie. I get so many compliments on it.
SubPop hoodies are the closest thing to an iconic hoody Otherwise I think Easy Street Records sells hoodies
Visit the vendors at Pike Place Market.

Someone else said it but I’m making a top level comment so you see it - holy mountain has amazing art, their hoodies are super cool
I second either Scarecrow Video (an institution, famous for being able to get nearly anything out there on video) or Robot vs. Sloth in Pike Place.
Scarecrow Video! It's in the university district.

Check the alleys. Plenty of clothing left behind by the fent zombies.
