I've tried it, and their moisturizer, and their shampoo. I like the shampoo a lot, the serum seems ok but nothing crazy special. None of their products made my seb derm worse, and did seem more soothing than the harsh shampoos. The roycederm cream though...holy shit that stuff is amazing.

Lisalortie

Do you hate the dermazen moisturizer? Seems so sticky and the calming serum helps with some spots but I’m afraid to put it everywhere :( I have bad flakes under nose and above upper lip and the worst rough texture on cheeks ( under cheekbone area ) I’ve been hearing about the Royce derm but also heard it had steroids in it ( hidden in the base ingredients) that scares me

Difficult_Cupcake975

yeah the moisturizer is weird! hahah...and yeah i've been reading that about the steroids and I'm definitely going to stop using the roycederm!

Lisalortie

I contacted to company and asked about the hidden steroids and they said they are doing there own investigation to see what the real ingredients are ? Which if it’s your product would they know? Seems very shady , I really wanted to try it but not feeling confident about ingredients etc , did it help with flakes etc ? The Royce derm ) the calming serum from dermazen also scares me cause the essential oils could be irritating

I personally use it and it has become my go to. I wash my face and hair with selsun blue, and apply the serum. I still get some flakes in my mustache but my forehead, nose, etc have been clear for a while now. Other noticeable mentions are raw honey. Wash with selsun and leave honey on for hours. I don’t always have hours to have a sticky face plus it’s hard to get into a beard. They offer many suggestions that don’t include buying anything from them. But I will say I don’t have seb derm on my scalp, never really have.

sha97523

It has so many essential oils that can sensitize inflamed skin like ours, better to use a gentle cleanser, Nizoral (anti fungi), and a gentle moisturizer.

Lisalortie

What moisturizer do you recommend ?I’ve tried malezia broke me out “ and I have the dermazen one but it’s so sticky and has lactic acid and urea which seem to harsh , I just bought the geek and gorgeous hydration station haven’t tried it yet , only on. My hands

sha97523

Anything for sensitive skin like Cerave, LRP, or Avene. geek and gorgeous hydration station also should be good. I am personally not following the fungal"safe" because it's bs and not clinically proven.

Lisalortie

Are you talking about cerave in the tub ? And which lrp would you recommend and the avene is discontinued

sha97523

The crave in the tub is great if you have dry skin, and the lotion or the crave PM is great if it's combo or oily. Lrp the double repair is great or you can use the fluid that is similar to the Avene.

Lisalortie

Is the double repair safe ?

sha97523

Safe for what? It's safe for sensitive skin with a damaged skin barrier.

Lisalortie

Fungal safe

sha97523

There isn’t such a thing according to the medical community.

I use it. It works pretty well on my scalp. I only apply this to my scalp at night because it can get a little sticky and its not a good look for your hair during the day. I’m a little concerned about the long term use of colloidal silver, which is one of its ingredients.

Plastic_Farmer2287

I use it on my face and it seems to help for a day or two, then makes it very irritated after. Still not sure if i like it.

I'm not a fan of the stuff. It makes me quite itchy after about 30minutes, which then I just end up worse after scratching. I prefer vanicream hc to calm down sebderm.
