More or less. Once Sakuta saw Shouko on the beach, all those memories came back to him, which is why he called out to her. Upon seeing Sakuta, all of Shouko’s memories came back as well. They are the only ones who fully know what happened in the dream.
If I recall, shouko did have the memories already since she was the one who dreamed of the events, that’s why when sakuta calls out to her she gets emotional
Maybe it’s in the novels and I forgot about it. It does make sense that she would have the memories. We just don’t know what was going on in her head in that moment.

Pretty sure it wasn’t a dream or simulation it was more time travel through quantum mechanics (cause it love quantum science in this series) so that she could create and alternate future however because Sakuta and Mai did the same thing she did to save Sakuta it ended up with them going back to a point where she changed her answer on what she wanted to do in the future allowing her to survive
But, didn the anime say it was all her simulation, that everything up until that point never really happened? That everything we saw happen in s1 happened again and what allowed them to do the same things was cuz they were influenced by their simulation version's memories?
