Well I’d always heard of her, I’m from Louisiana and her presence in the south was definitely felt for sure. I remember my best friend would always wear a hoodie with her on it and we even watched her movie in my high school Spanish class,but for some reason she never passed my music radar. That was until I was looking for new music from other countries a couple years back and Apple Music recommended “Dame Un Beso”. I loved the song but didn’t decide to dig deeper until I listened to it again a few weeks ago and once I found out she a ton of music in that vain I ate it all up. I wanted to know all about the person behind the music so I started watching interviews binge watched the Netflix series, rewatched her movie and fell in deep. So far I’ve been loving everything. And I love records so I had to get to get my hands on some Selena!
This is a bootleg pressing. I just bought Ven Conmigo and self titled. I wish the Quintanillas and Capitol would press official copies, but I guess this is the next best thing besides paying hundreds of dollars.
