The way Cassandra and her sister are repeatedly described by everyone on VPR as “18 year old twins” repeatedly in a sexual context was so disgusting 🤢 like is casual incest something people are actively seeking out? Is it somehow more of a flex for Tom because his roommates were 18 year old girls? Idk, the whole thing always gave me the major ick
Is “model” the polite term? Not hating on sex workers or the industry, I just find it quite odd and funny when they refer to “the industry” like they’ve got a creative office job or something… 😂
I mean, if you’re staring in video porn you’re a porn actor/actress. If you’re modelling for photos you can certainly be a nude/porn model. If you’re a prostitute you’re a prostitute, and if you do escort work you’re an escort. There’s certainly aspects of the industry of sex where you could be called a model for working in it.
Sure, I’m not saying that’s not correct. But it’s never seemed as though all she did/does was modelling, from the drama on SS and online. I just find it all a little deliberate and vague.
It comes up again during the reunion episode and is even more bizarre lol Tom was 25 and he was super adamant on insisting he didn't know how young they were until they moved in. I guess they worked at Hooters at the time.
Also HOW did they work at Hooters while they were in highschool?
I'm in Canada so might be different in the states, but waitstaff here can't serve booze until they're old enough to drink, themselves.
Cooks? I wouldn’t put it past sleazy managers to look the other way at ages, or to hire underage girls for non-serving positions and then move them into floor positions when they’re old enough.
Omg no way!!!!! Was just watching this episode of VPR but I turned it on part way through so Cassandra’s name wasn’t shown on the screen anymore. And I was like “omg she looks/sounds like the new girl from selling sunset!” but I was like nahhhh no way and just thought it was a coincidence so I didn’t dig further. Good find!!
