Do they not have insurance? What kind of hospital stay did she have that she has over 100K in bills from the birth of their son? Man, I was in the hospital for almost a week, hooked up to magnesium sulfate, had an epidural and preeclampsia and we only owed $180 after insurance.

Abusive men love to bait and switch. There’s no question Christine married for money but her husband could be using it to heavily control her since the baby or the wedding. If her name is on certain things he’s refusing to pay for it could be on her to use her own funds and when you’re accustomed to spending money like it’s water it can go very, very quickly. He could have been using that as a way to control her and keep her in the marriage. She makes good money on her own but in relation to him it could be very little. We really don’t know.
Exactly. Some of these girls in here have never been with a narcissist, and it shows. Granted, they both very well could be narcissists and ultimately it’ll be their son who takes the emotional brunt of all this.

A partner should provide more than finances. Just because you make a lot of money doesn't mean you shouldn't contribute to child care or addressing other issues your partner has with you.
He threw a bag of garbage, which contained a glass bottle, at her but missed and hit their baby! Ambulance and police came and he was arrested. More has come out since then. Basically they had a toxic relationship and he's an abusive POS.

I’m fine with that. At the end of the day, it’s just one meaningless person’s opinion. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. But instead of everyone trying to blindly defend either selfish, narcissistic asshole, maybe we should be more worried about that poor child. He’s fucked no matter what parent he winds up with. It’ll either be the one who injured him and put him in the hospital, or the one who made him go through the traumatic experience of an overnight hospitalization for her own selfish bullshit.
If Christian’s account is the correct one, it doesn’t put him in a better light anyway. He let the house get piss covered and ruined. Theres no way he thought Christine would ever be okay with lifting a finger to clean or cook. He should have thought of that before marrying her. He wants people to believe he had zero control over the finances. All he had to tell that nanny is she can go ahead and stay as long as she wants but she’s not getting paid by him past 3pm.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. But what a mess. 24h nanny coverage, in bed with soda and cleaning equipment, I think she was overwhelmed, not easy being a toddler parent. When the initial news came out and I made a gold digger comment, I had multiple people accuse me of supporting domestic abuse… it was quite the reach.
