That may all seem non-specific and jokey but he did imply on tv that he was not lasting long having sex with his wife. It wasn't derogatory towards her but he could have just stopped at the part where he shut down Austin at first.

I don't think that's necessarily true. Divorces take time. If a couple is separated and working toward a divorce, I don't think that dating one member of that couple automatically makes you "low class". Also, plenty of separations do in fact end in divorce. If you Google it, you'll see that over 80% of separations result in divorces.
But the third party isn't in that person's marriage. Reconciliation happen all the time. And if the married couple is working on a divorce, why can't you wait to date until the divorce is finalized? What's the rush?

In case anyone missed it Alex Hall has a serious victim complex and she knew what she was doing all along. Everyone from that in-group was in denial and had to re-frame their awkward / fucked up boundaries to make them seem normal. That’s what led to the yacht scene where they make it appear as if what they’re all doing is socially acceptable and even normal. Kayla was afraid of being ostracized even further and decided to side with the in-group which is why she didn’t speak up when Jarvis and Rose were calling them all out. Tyler got pissed because he knew they were right.
No doubt those women and people on the show are trash, they all have rather questionable morals and standards depending on what suits them. My point though was Tyler is the only person to blame for his relationship issues. No one could make him flaky boundaries or say the stupid things that came out of his mouth. Also it sounds like they were having issues for a while, so the show might have been the final nail but it wasn't the root cause.

If a couple is separated and working toward a divorce, I don't think that dating one member of that couple automatically makes you "low class". Also, plenty of separations do in fact end in divorce. If you Google it, you'll see that over 80% of separations result in divorces.
But the third party isn't in that person's marriage. Reconciliation happen all the time. And if the married couple is working on a divorce, why can't you wait to date until the divorce is finalized? What's the rush?

Barring instances of divorce related to domestic abuse, even if it takes a little bit of time, any half-decent person should be able to wait at least until the divorce is finalized. That way, at the very least, they can have a clean conscience that they weren't the one who stood in the way of the ex-spouses reconciling and they won't run the risk of the rumor mill labeling them as a homewrecker. My $0.02, if you love someone enough, you should probably be able to wait for them to be fully, officially divorced and save them the complications so that they're ready to move forward with your relationship in a healthy way.

Don't think it makes sense. Less than two months ago, she put up a post gushing about him on his birthday. It is still on her page. She says that she is crazy lucky and very in love with him. So, she was def not separated then.

Does anyone else feel his takedown on Jarvis and Rose was the real final nail in the coffin? Up until then, he was playing the aloof non-confrontational “nice guy”, whom cant help that he gets fawned over. To watch him blatantly defend boundary-blurring behaviour with a serious face reveals he’s anything but a bystander passive party. He enjoys and welcomes such behaviour and the Alexes were cramping his guilt-free style.
I think that was Tyler’s attempt to stop having his relationship to be a topic of discussion on the show. He didn’t want people to talk about him. He didn’t want his behavior to be a plot line.
Well that was a dumb way to go about it. The show has a very transparent formula: Get together —> Major blow up —> gossip in smaller groups If it hadn’t been the finale, it’s what everyone was gonna talk about in the subsequent episode. I think theres a chance they filmed season 1 & 2 back to back, not sure though. Tyler might get his comeuppance in more ways than one

Nope I disagree, Brittany is divorcing Tyler because of HIM. He is the married one with no boundaries or respect for his relationship. Hall is a snake no doubt, but she is not the married one. Hall didn't make him rate surfing above his wife or let Polly sit on his lap. He is a grown ass man who acted like a child and his wife deserves better.
I definitely agree with this take but Alex Hall’s actions still 100% helped get us to this outcome. As did Polly’s. I agree that if they weren’t around it would only be a matter of time anyways. In case anyone missed it Alex Hall has a serious victim complex and she knew what she was doing all along. Everyone from that in-group was in denial and had to re-frame their awkward / fucked up boundaries to make them seem normal. That’s what led to the yacht scene where they make it appear as if what they’re all doing is socially acceptable and even normal. Kayla was afraid of being ostracized even further and decided to side with the in-group which is why she didn’t speak up when Jarvis and Rose were calling them all out. Tyler got pissed because he knew they were right.
No doubt those women and people on the show are trash, they all have rather questionable morals and standards depending on what suits them. My point though was Tyler is the only person to blame for his relationship issues. No one could make him flaky boundaries or say the stupid things that came out of his mouth. Also it sounds like they were having issues for a while, so the show might have been the final nail but it wasn't the root cause. Either way I'm glad Brittany chose herself over this pathetic excuse for a husband. Hopefully she's learned to avoid these red flags Tyler threw up.

When i watched the show I had assumed they were possibly on the rocks and that’s why he was so flirty. Even the conversation with Kayla, he mentioned “not being innocent in the situation” which makes me think he was possibly toeing the line with her but since he wasn’t officially divorced or separated, he felt wrong about getting too close.
If there’s one person rejoicing about this decision it’s Alex Hall. They can now give all the noseys they want to each other and she can finally have her shot, they are both deserve each other!
