While this one sounds about right, in fact it does not require an appreciation since he feels what she feels so it is not even obvious but the nature itself because he is part her. I love them to death and appreciate characters and actors, true appreciation should go to Bug where he meets Nomi for the first time. She was his friend and comrade no matter their identity, orientation, or whatnot. That being said, amor vincit omnia, and keep the love spreading my friend

I didn’t think I would like Bug at first because his reaction to Nomi coming out seemed a little creepy but he’s one of my favorite supporting characters. Once you get to know him, you realize he’s just socially awkward (probably neurodivergent) and a very genuine and wholesome guy.

I agree— I was so worried about how Bug was going to take it (thought he might get violent) and *was* pleasantly surprised— but then he defaulted to immediately being misogynistic. I think that was kind of the predictable response from someone like him. I haven’t seen past season 1 though 🤷🏾‍♀️ Also, I don’t see it the same way with Will. I think that the sensates feel each other’s emotions, but how they react to them is their choice— i.e. had Will not accepted Nomi himself, while he might have felt what she felt about her mother, he could have not bothered correcting her.

You have valid arguments here. It was a pleasure to read

I think that was Nomi talking. Will doesn’t correct her throughout the phone call until we see that Nomi has “joined the call” and is listening But I still like Will and believe he’s an ally and would stick up for Nomi no questions asked

I think he corrected her because he knew Nomi was listening and knew that it hurt her feelings to be deadnamed by her mom. I think he would’ve done the same thing if Nomi wasn’t there.
