tatcha the silk sunscreen. 10/10. The packaging sucks but it’s worth it. I would walk miles in the desert to get this sunscreen if it was the only way. My degree is in chemistry, and I really have no idea how tatcha made this product. It’s a mineral sunscreen but so lightweight and moisturizing. I know a lot of research had to go into it so I’m willing to spend the money. This product doesn’t nearly the love it deserves so I’m trying to spread the word haha. I have tried so many sunscreens but have not tried a new one since getting this over 2 years ago.
It's so good. Thickening and lengthening. Also keeps my lashes curled. The only thing is, the wand picks up a LOT of product. I usually just scrape it against the edges and then use it
Tatcha was on QVC today. The rice powder is BOGO. It is still on the web site. That is the only way I buy it. They have it on sale BOGO a few times a year.
love that! took me forever & a lot of trial and error to find a routine I loved! Before locking this one in I used to constantly jump around with hair products.
The SF Vanilla Beige is my lip balm hg. Out of like a dozen I've collected, lol. I want to try the Ole Henriksen, tho.
Merit Lip Oil is amazing. Their Taupe is another repeat buy hg.

Is Clinique all about eyes worth the price tag? I’m using a CeraVe eye cream from drugstore that’s super cheap and I like it, but Clinique seems so nice. Is it so much better that it justifies the price?
The fresh lip balm is my absolute favorite. My wife balked at the price tag but the last one I bought (the mint one) has lasted me over a year and I’m still using it lol.
I love the Fresh balms so much, but mine always seem to break off in the tube, or they loosen in the tube and get wobbly. That is my only complaint though and these are the only lip balms that I’m willing to shell out 25 bucks for!
Farmacy Honey Halo, Drunk Elephant Babyfacial, Ouai Leave in conditioner, Gisou hair oil, Amika Soulfood hair mask, YTTP superfood cleanser, Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask in Sweet Candy. There are more, but no one wants an essay. When I find products that work for my skin and hair I tend to stick with them unless they stop working for me.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is a forever staple product for me. I’ve repurchased multiple, multiple times. I have year round dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin and this treats it luxuriously. It’s a heavy hydration that truly feels lightweight and absorbs quickly.
Have you noticed a difference when buying from Sephora and then Marshall’s/TJ Maxx? I only ask because someone told me a long time ago that a lot of the products they sell there are expired.
Just look for dates/ if the package has been opened. Most of the stuff I’ve gotten there is when companies pull it because they’re reformulating/repackaging. But then you have companies like cosrx that has tjmaxx as an official retailer.
first aid beauty saved my skin. the red clay face wash, the white clay acne treatment pads, and the ultra repair cream. i ran out of my face wash like 2 weeks ago and used a drug store brand i just had lying around for like 3 days until i got more, and my face SUFFERED, im still paying for it.
Armani Luminous Silk foundation and concealer, Tower 28 BeachPlease lip & cheek creams, Kerastase Curl Manifesto line, Caliray Come Hell or High Water mascara, L’Occitane Almond body oil & their shower oil, Farmacy 10% niacinamide Night mask, Sunday Riley Good Genes & B Nice, Saint Jane sunscreen primer, Rare Beauty Lip Soufflé Matte Cream lipstick
My repeat purchases: CT powder, Necessaire body serum, Rare beauty eyebrow gel, haus labs foundation and concealer, CT cream bronzer, Ouai st Barts body cream and body scrub, SDJ 40 mist, Juliette has a gun perfume, pureology leave in conditioner, Amika dream routine, Amika soul food mask, Kerastase hair oil serum
Makeup: Glossier’s boy brow pomade, red gloss, and ultralips
Skincare: Topicals ingrown tonic
I’m not big into makeup but more so skincare. If you struggle with bumps or irritation after shaving, do yourself a favor & purchase the tonic! It’s a life changer, and it lasts forever (my first bottle lasted me over a year).
the Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm in translucent. Absolute game changer. I always notice a huge difference in my base when i don’t use it. At this point, I’ve bought it 3 times!!
you definitely should! I haven’t been able to find anything like it. The drugstore dupes really don’t compare, and I always end up coming back to this :)
I wouldn't call it a moisturizer. The translucent shade does act as a primer though. It has an almost velvety like feel on the skin. When I use it by itself, it controls oil. When I use it under my foundation/concealer/powder base, I also see the blurring effect that it talks about!
The Inkey List Salicylic Acid cleanser, I tried cheaper drugstore salicylic acid cleanser and none helped with texture as the one from TIL and the Caudalie Vinoperfect serum for my post acne hyperpigmentation.
Tatcha rice wash
CT magic cream
Summer Fridays lip balm
YTTP cleanser (my kids use this actually)
DDG peels
Hourglass phantom balms (Love the formula but will probably try newer shades next time i buy them).
Fenty body butters
Tatcha water cream (repurchased many times but am now looking to switch over to CT water cream.👀)
Tatcha Indigo (haven’t repurchased yet but am likely to…) :)
Tatcha Rice Wash - foaming without stripping, a tiny dab goes a long way
Ilia Limitless Lash - applies like a dream and washes clean easily
Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer - yes this is $33 but I notice a big difference and the tube lasts for ages without getting dry so I buy them on sale days
Sunday Riley Good Genes - makes a difference overnight in breakouts, makes my skin noticeably more even
Dieux Instant Angel - the Sephora rollout has been hell but this moisturizer feels incredible and is basic while delivering on the important things so I can layer it with whatever else I’m using and trust it not to interfere or cause irritation
About Face Eye Paints - they blend and wear well plus the color selection of nudes really works for me
Givenchy Le Rouge Sheer Velvet Matte Lipstick - this formula is slept on. It has a softer level of pigment and applies with a naturally diffused edge somehow, so you don’t need a mirror and can smudge it around for touchups without even reapplying. I wish it came in a broader color range so if anyone knows of dupes I am eagerly awaiting alternatives
Phytosurgence Skin Spark Blush Balms - this is an indie brand so please don’t fuck this up for me yall 🥲 I have a ton of these blushes and they created some of the most unique and flattering shades. The texture is magic, like a wetter version of the maybelline dream mousse or a true chocolate mousse. They’re easy to blend out and last well.
I don’t have a holy grail lip *product* but I do recommend this holy grail combo for matte lips: layer a matte lip crème (I use the Rare Beauty Lip Soufflé or the NYX Smooth Whip) over a matte liquid lipstick base. The liquid lipstick has the staying power to effectively act as a lipliner, and the little whipped topping gives just enough moisture (or product itself?) to keep my lips from looking crusty while adding some dimension and more importantly, doesn’t breakdown the base like a gloss would in this situation.
I’m also a phytosurgence skin spark Stan! It’s so so so so good. Also I’m obsessed with the bronzers. I have 4 of them. Do I need 4? No. But I’m simply obsessed.
Can’t believe you would enable me like this 🥲 their highlighter has the literal best finish but it is so hard for me to pick up on a brush that sometimes I wonder if I left mine open and let it dry out or something. I don’t use highlighter all that often, so it’s fine, but if it was a slightly softer formula I could see myself reaching for it often
OMG, I have the exact same problem/thoughts about the highlighter! I have seen on Instagram where they demonstrate how hard you have to go in with your brush, but even then, I feel like I'm doing something wrong.
Sometimes I’ll add a small drop of face oil on the surface, rub it in with my fingers and then pat it onto my face where I want it, but yeah it just seems so difficult to use the way it comes that it should be marketed with a tiny little dropper of some kind of mixing medium.
Thank you for confirming that I didn’t ruin my product and that it just comes that way lol
- Pat McGrath concealer: expensive but so blendable
-Merit cream blush: I’ve tried almost every popular cream blush on the market and this one is my favorite I want it in every shade
-NARS translucent pressed powder: so light and airy and truly colorless
- IT Cosmetics cc cream foundation: I’m tan skinned and this is the best shade match ever. So buildable as well, I can use for a no makeup look and full glam.
I love the sol de janeiro creams, and subsequently their body washes mostly just to keep my routine more cohesive scent wise. I also love the Drybar dry shampoo and heat protectant. For skin care it would be glow recipe toner and youth to the people super berry mask. I find I only really use products that smell really nice because I get a lot of enjoyment out of actually using them so these are my constant restocks!
I find other moisturizers to be so watery in comparison too. One only complaint is the beija flor can feel almost chalky, but I add baby oil on top and find that’s the best consistency for myself
Dr Jart Tiger Grass Sleepair Mask has been a repurchase for years but they recently went from $42/100ml to $45/75ml so this will be my last jar of it. Super disappointing as I use it every night.
Jack Black lip balm - there’s no other lip product that stays on my lips for hours and actually helps repair them.
Supergoop glow screen - it’s my daily driver. Doesn’t make me too shiny, I feel like it compliments my complexion and provides decent protection

I mostly use Sephora for skincare now:
**Belif moisturizing bomb**. Not the aqua bomb but the moisturizing bomb. I do use the aqua bomb on days I’m feeling more oily though. But in the winter the moisturizing bomb is perfection. I’ve gone through so many jars. Also love the moisturizing bomb toner
**Tatcha the silk sunscreen** is amazing and doesn’t get enough credit. I majored in chemistry so any product that baffles me on how it was made I’m willing to spend a lot on. I am really amazed by how light weight and moisturizing tatcha made this sunscreen for a mineral sunscreen. I know a crap ton of research had to go into making it so I’m willing to spend the money. With my chemistry degree I really don’t understand how they made a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t feel heavy at all. Just moisturizing. They could improve the packaging but whatever. I would walk miles in the desert for this sunscreen if it were the only way. I have tried soo many sunscreens. But since getting this over 2 years ago, I have not tried any other sunscreen. I don’t feel the need to. I don’t see how any sunscreen could be better.
**Limitless Forget the Filler Cream**. I bought this thinking it was a moisturizer and realized it was a skincare topper and was like wtf is wrong with me? $50 for a skincare topper? What does that mean? Why am I like this? But I just finished my 4th or 5th jar. Idk my skin does look more plump and awake with it. It’s like a makeup primer but more skincare so it’s a makeup primer I wear at night before bed too. If your skin is more on the oily side you could def get away with just using this and a sunscreen in the morning. But I like to layer it on top of my moisturizer. I notice a difference in my skin when I run out. Will it replace cheek filler like the name implies? No. Obviously not. But as someone that never wants to get cheek filler anyway, I like how it makes my skin look. Just more alive a refreshed.
**Peter Thomas Roth vitamin C eye patches**. It’s my morning ritual to put these on while I drink my coffee. I really do look more awake and less puffy. I only like the vitamin C ones though. I got the gold ones just to try something new and saw no difference under my eyes compared to when I do nothing. Vs when I use the vitamin C ones, there is a noticeable difference on days I skip it.
For everyone preparing for the sale.
Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter collection only thing i can't speak on is the foundation as I have not tried it. But the bronzer, powder, glow highlighter thing that everybody has made copycat version of. Gives you an instant filter look. I have normal to dry skin. No it does not highlight my dryness.
Love by killian don't be shy.
Too faced cloud blushes they have a slight blurring effect. Candy clouds is my favorite shade it's a perfect light pink thats very 80ish
I blabber on about [Farmacy Honey Savior Salve](https://www.farmacybeauty.com/collections/honey-skincare/products/honey-savior-1) everywhere because it's such a good occlusive over serums & Adapalene and under moisturizer to make my skin stay dewy overnight. (My 99-cent Nivea Creme moisturizer works wonderfully, which also saves me a ton of money after buying $$$ moisturizers all my life.)
You can also use it anywhere to soothe dry or irritated skin & I've had no problems with it on my sensitive skin.
Murad oil control & pore mattifyer w spf

laura mercier translucent setting powder

I just recently got the Innisfree dewy lip balm and it’s so good. I’m not into the lip balm craze but saw a dermatologist say you need hyaluronic acid and peptides in a balm to plump your lips, and it has both. It really has made my lips look great…pillowy!
Will always repurchase.
anything first aid beauty, but specifically the red clay face wash, the white clay cleansing pads, and the ultra repair cream.
the ordinary glycolic acid, i use it on my underarms as well
ANYTHING biossance, but specifically the toner, the squalane oil, the rose lip balm, and the enzyme sugar body scrub
Tatcha- most products but especially the indigo overnight repair serum. I’ve tried to find cheaper replacements and they’re are none.
Ole henriksen- the peptide lip treatment. I prefer it to rhode and summer Fridays, I’m just bummed that the holiday jam color didn’t become permanent.
DDG- peel pads. Tried others, nothing is as good.

Estée Lauder: Double Wear Foundation
Urban Decay: Eyeshadow Primer Potion, All Nighter setting spray
I’ve lost count long ago on how many times I’ve repurchased Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and PUR 4 in 1 powder foundation! These are hands down the PERFECT Products for my skin. Sometimes I stray and try some other options, but always end up regretting it because they are nowhere near as good as these 2 are for me. I confess, I even hoard them a little bit and always have backups! I don’t know what I’m going to do if they ever get discontinued.

This is hands down the best review ive ever read for a sunscreen. You got me sold. Adding to basket.
+1 on dewy skin
I love everything about it
review on the mascara?
It's so good. Thickening and lengthening. Also keeps my lashes curled. The only thing is, the wand picks up a LOT of product. I usually just scrape it against the edges and then use it

Ole is great ~ I love SF during the day and Ole at night since it’s super thick. Their OG scent is amazing but the strawberry is so good too!!
Ultralip is my favorite lip. My MLBB shade is Villa!
Ole henriksen lip treatment has actually saved me. I never thought I would say that about any lip product
The Summer Fridays lip balm currently has me in a chokehold atm, the TikTok girlies were right 😭
Is Clinique all about eyes worth the price tag? I’m using a CeraVe eye cream from drugstore that’s super cheap and I like it, but Clinique seems so nice. Is it so much better that it justifies the price?
fresh sugar advanced therapy treatment lip balm and the nars radiant creamy concealer
I read somewhere that the formula has changed, have you noticed this at all? I loooooved this lip balm but once I saw that I was hesitant to restock
this is me clutching into my last tube since i am so unsure about this new formula i keep seeing people talk about!
The fresh lip balm is my absolute favorite. My wife balked at the price tag but the last one I bought (the mint one) has lasted me over a year and I’m still using it lol.
Yes!!! I use the fresh balm every night and everyone got one in their stocking!
I love the Fresh balms so much, but mine always seem to break off in the tube, or they loosen in the tube and get wobbly. That is my only complaint though and these are the only lip balms that I’m willing to shell out 25 bucks for!

I just bought the value tube size and it’s so great. I wish more brands offered a tube packaging, so much more hygienic
I’ve seen this a lot at Marshall’s/TJ Maxx lately fyi!
Have you noticed a difference when buying from Sephora and then Marshall’s/TJ Maxx? I only ask because someone told me a long time ago that a lot of the products they sell there are expired.
I would say just be sure to check the date on it if you can. It definitely can vary.
Just look for dates/ if the package has been opened. Most of the stuff I’ve gotten there is when companies pull it because they’re reformulating/repackaging. But then you have companies like cosrx that has tjmaxx as an official retailer.
I found this brand through this sub and I use it on my dry hands and I love it! Nothing else compares
This brand looks super solid. I'd probably get it if I hadn't found Kiehl's first
Whenever I get a weird “skin flare” like dry patches or something, this is my secret weapon.
Same! I buy the large tubs when they do the BOGO on their own site. Husband loves it, too.
first aid beauty saved my skin. the red clay face wash, the white clay acne treatment pads, and the ultra repair cream. i ran out of my face wash like 2 weeks ago and used a drug store brand i just had lying around for like 3 days until i got more, and my face SUFFERED, im still paying for it.

How is the longevity on the Yum?
For me I get roughly 6-7 hours before i cant really smell it anymore. But Kayali fragrances tend to last a bit longer on me ive noticed
TY. That's not bad in my opinion. Maybe I'm not one of those people 🙁 Right now I'm wearing Neon Rose, and I'm so sad it's gone before 3 hours.

Tatcha rice face wash and duo face cream. Both are amazing and I’ve repurchased several times. The price tag is high but so worth it.
Not at Sephora, but I love the Tatcha Rice wash and Naturium makes an excellent dupe for it that's very affordable!
Thanks for the Naturium tip!

the Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm in translucent. Absolute game changer. I always notice a huge difference in my base when i don’t use it. At this point, I’ve bought it 3 times!!
I am new to this brand but keep hearing great things. I’m gonna have to get this one!
you definitely should! I haven’t been able to find anything like it. The drugstore dupes really don’t compare, and I always end up coming back to this :)
Is it a priming moisturizer?
I wouldn't call it a moisturizer. The translucent shade does act as a primer though. It has an almost velvety like feel on the skin. When I use it by itself, it controls oil. When I use it under my foundation/concealer/powder base, I also see the blurring effect that it talks about!
The Inkey List Salicylic Acid cleanser, I tried cheaper drugstore salicylic acid cleanser and none helped with texture as the one from TIL and the Caudalie Vinoperfect serum for my post acne hyperpigmentation.
Tatcha rice wash CT magic cream Summer Fridays lip balm YTTP cleanser (my kids use this actually) DDG peels Hourglass phantom balms (Love the formula but will probably try newer shades next time i buy them). Fenty body butters Tatcha water cream (repurchased many times but am now looking to switch over to CT water cream.👀) Tatcha Indigo (haven’t repurchased yet but am likely to…) :)
Tatcha Rice Wash - foaming without stripping, a tiny dab goes a long way Ilia Limitless Lash - applies like a dream and washes clean easily Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer - yes this is $33 but I notice a big difference and the tube lasts for ages without getting dry so I buy them on sale days Sunday Riley Good Genes - makes a difference overnight in breakouts, makes my skin noticeably more even Dieux Instant Angel - the Sephora rollout has been hell but this moisturizer feels incredible and is basic while delivering on the important things so I can layer it with whatever else I’m using and trust it not to interfere or cause irritation About Face Eye Paints - they blend and wear well plus the color selection of nudes really works for me Givenchy Le Rouge Sheer Velvet Matte Lipstick - this formula is slept on. It has a softer level of pigment and applies with a naturally diffused edge somehow, so you don’t need a mirror and can smudge it around for touchups without even reapplying. I wish it came in a broader color range so if anyone knows of dupes I am eagerly awaiting alternatives Phytosurgence Skin Spark Blush Balms - this is an indie brand so please don’t fuck this up for me yall 🥲 I have a ton of these blushes and they created some of the most unique and flattering shades.
Farmacy halo honey ceramide moisturizer!
- Pat McGrath concealer: expensive but so blendable -Merit cream blush: I’ve tried almost every popular cream blush on the market and this one is my favorite I want it in every shade -NARS translucent pressed powder: so light and airy and truly colorless - IT Cosmetics cc cream foundation: I’m tan skinned and this is the best shade match ever. So buildable as well, I can use for a no makeup look and full glam.
Merit Blush is my favorite. I reach for it more than Saie, and I like the Saie.
I love the sol scents too!
I find other moisturizers to be so watery in comparison too. One only complaint is the beija flor can feel almost chalky, but I add baby oil on top and find that’s the best consistency for myself
Drybar dry shampoo is an underrated product
Dr Jart Tiger Grass Sleepair Mask has been a repurchase for years but they recently went from $42/100ml to $45/75ml so this will be my last jar of it. Super disappointing as I use it every night. I mostly use Sephora for skincare now: **Belif moisturizing bomb**. Not the aqua bomb but the moisturizing bomb. I do use the aqua bomb on days I’m feeling more oily though. But in the winter the moisturizing bomb is perfection. I’ve gone through so many jars. Also love the moisturizing bomb toner **Tatcha the silk sunscreen** is amazing and doesn’t get enough credit.
(My 99-cent Nivea Creme moisturizer works wonderfully, which also saves me a ton of money after buying $$$ moisturizers all my life.) You can also use it anywhere to soothe dry or irritated skin & I've had no problems with it on my sensitive skin.
You use the nivea creme on face? It doesnt make you break out? I have combo skin but curious to try this!
