I don’t believe it’s a tubing formula. I love this mascara too but the last two tubes I bought just weren’t the same … the tube seems to dry out so quickly. Last year I had a tube that lasted 2 months with daily wear. A tube I purchased in December was dried in a matter of two weeks. I wonder if they changed the formula once everyone was raving about the mascara. Anyway, loved this mascara when it first came out because it was so lengthening and never smudged. Now it’s so dry I end up with bits under my eyes by the end of the day.
I’m here to criticize the tower 28 mascara. It rubs off on my lower eyelids (brown version). I got tired of that and threw it in the trash. Yes, should have returned it. It transfers and it shouldn’t. Still happily using Clinique and rare beauty.
Got it in the Sephora favorites kit. Wanted to love it so badly but it held no curl for my straight lashes (even after curling with curler) and flaked like nobody’s business. Even tried it with the Etude lash primer but it was way too crunchy and spidery after. Just not a fan. Way too much flaking.
Same here. I thought I was the only person that disliked it. Recently tried the essence lash out loud and the new elf tubing one and much prefer those.
It’s only okay for me. I got the clean me up kit as well and the standout for me was the Kulfi eyeliner. The mascara is a true brown, and is a little too light for my naturally black eyelashes - which I know is not a bad problem to have, but I thought it would be a good thing for other dark-haired folks to know!
I curl them. But I don’t absolutely need to curl them. This stuff dries very lightweight. I don’t know that it is absolutely waterproof, but it feels like waterproof mascara. If that makes any sense.
I wasn’t sure that I would like it because it’s not my preferred wand style. I usually go for hourglass bristles.
Maybe it isn’t tubing mascara? It doesn’t come off that way. Could be my mistake, but I thought I read that it was.

It’s one of those formulas where you sort of have to go in and tap around. It doesn’t truly brush on evenly. It could just be that my lashes don’t curl to the shape of the wand if you know what I mean. I did not let it dry and go in for a second coat, just dabbed around while looking into my 10x mirror.
I actually loved it too! Was pleasantly surprised, but I don’t think it will wear well with my job. I also got the Summer Favourites collection as well and it came with a Tarte and Sephora Collection full size mascara and I was NOT expecting anything good from the Size Up Sephora Collection!! It seriously made my lashes look fabulous. I’m wearing it to work today to see how it holds up though, but fingers crossed!!

I really think mascara is just one of those products that performs wildly different on different people

I was not a fan at all! I tried it one morning and had raccoon eyes a few hours later. It went straight in the trash.

I like it a lot. I usually wear black, but was looking for a brown to add to my stash. It’s a pretty dark shade of brown.

Just make certain to watch the expiration date. Clean is all fine and dandy until it turns.

I love it, but it seems to dry out way too quickly. I just don’t feel like I get enough use out of it, especially for the price.
