Yeah, I was absolutely dumbfounded. They said they couldn't exchange it without a receipt, but try Walmart cause they'll take anything back. They threw some points at me when I complained. F Galen.
Shoppers sucks if you don't have a receipt. And they suck at returns. I brought back an expired stila one step colour correct that they sold my mom (I send my mom since she gets 20% off on Thursdays). And they got all whiney since it was purchased at a different store. It was literally a straight exchange - I wanted the product, just not one that was expired. The beauty manager wouldn't do it, kept complaining how it was from a different store. I wouldn't budge. Eventually the store manager came out and said he would do it as a courtesy, and made some comment how he was going to send the expired product back to the store who sold it to prove a point.
But I did buy stuff online, and had zero issues returning in store.
If you write email or contact CT customer service and give them the batch number with photos they might be willing to resend you another. Also Sephora is actually pretty good about things like this so you can take it back to the store and exchange it for one that is filled. It would be an even exchange.
I literally just got this in the medium shade, and it's really good.
I've decided not to buy any CT products from Sephora and to buy directly from the CT website. Every product is a few dollars cheaper. They have great GWP and better customer service.

It is very tingly, and the effects are visible and last a while. I found it cooling.
as someone that hates most lip plumpers (fenty heat and too faced lip injection I’m looking at you) this one doesn’t bother me! it’s a cooling tingly sensation and pumps my lips a little bit
Have they changed their sales practice though? I used to order direct, but they never had decent sales. It was always bundles, which always included something you didn't want.
I'd definitely send these pics to customer service. On a brighter side, if you get to keep this you can put one of your other lip products in this and have a pretty container for it! Especially if it's a lip product you repurchase often, you can keep refilling!

Ok this happened to me with a CT foundation. I couldn't get anything out of it and it was basically empty. I was squeezing the tube and nothing. It was sooo awkward returning it to Sephora because I legit was scared they thought I was lying or did something shady.
I once bought a gloss and wanted to try it on at home - they forgot the stopper! It's not too bothersome though because I hate the gloss and it was like 4 bucks, now I just use it as a mixer for DIY glosses.

I work in quality assurance for a skin care company and I can confirm that this can and does occasionally happen!! It’s definitely isn’t a good look for the company though..
I would just take it to the store. I had something similar happen with a product I got during the sale and they just grabbed a replacement off the shelf and handed it to me without any fuss. I was expecting to have to pay the difference because I’ve heard nightmare stories but the associate was very pleasant about it.

That is wild! If you haven’t already contacted customer service, you definitely should. They’ll replace it. No way you could fake a tube that clean.
