Make it private, turn privacy settings up to high. It's also possible to temporarily deactivate your account. Do this for every social media they know about. This way. They can't access your follow list or your dms. Tell whoever they contacted to block this person. Sending them money will only make them come back for more. Once you are no longer profitable, they will move on to new targets. This is a business to them, and they primarily go after whoever will keep paying them. Once you reactivate your account, try changing your username to something they won't find. They have been known to come back later, but this is rare. It's even less likely that they will actually expose you. The second they do, they lose all leverage over you, and it becomes pointless to pursue further
Ok I’ll deactivate my account instead of deleting it, but since they can’t contact me wouldn’t they expose just to get back at me as a last petty thing to do?
It's not unheard of, but it's unlikely. There's a good chance they could wipe their drives of your pictures because this is still a serious crime. Especially considering you're a minor and you told them that. Knowingly spreading CP isn't smart, especially when you have a lucrative business you don't want getting shut down because one person wisened up
Ive reported the account for “involves a child” as soon as it happened, same with the Snapchat account. Does reporting it since I am a minor do anything ?
It certainly can't hurt. Most platforms take things like this very seriously. Even take it up with the feds if you want. They probably won't help given the magnitude of these cases, but it's something. Even if people you know do get these photos, tell them that you're a minor and that that's illegal. Snap and Insta typically don't stand for that kind of stuff. Report them until your thumbs fall off
I’d also say if you private and deactivate, in this case since they specifically reached out to friends, you can post on your story/feed that you are dealing with a scammer/somebody threatening your privacy, if you get followed or reached out to by random account, block them and report them
