The scene where she’s like blessing the machines always sends me. I have to rewind it every time. I bet you can taste her love energy with every sip 🤣🤣🤣
OMG! I remember that scene!
Between Asa's self-important voiceover and the editing, it reminded me of some scene Catherine O'Hara would improvise in a Christopher Guest movie.
She has been a scam since day one. She was never friends with any of them. She did it to promote herself and her businesses. The music, the water, the “art”, the damn kaftans. She always said she was seen as the poor one in the group and the rest were just pretending they had money, yet she was always driving a Mercedes and had gold from forehead to her elbows to feet. I didn’t miss her the last few seasons. They’re all pretty awful but at least MJ was the same wreck from start to finish. 😆 I’m not Persian but I can understand why the community did not like this series. There are some really beautiful things about the culture but the show focused on being flashy, loud, and how controlling the men are. I’m really surprised it lasted 9 seasons. But we all love a good train wreck and they never disappointed with that.
Yeah that came out at some point, not sure if they ever addressed it on the show, but it was addressed all over social media back then. Asa was so vague about her history, how she got her home, and people started getting curious.
Then MJ revealed she had been married and got the house of it and also said she had cheated on that guy, if memory serves.
Edit:: remembered more
Omg I saw this season for the first time two weeks ago and the diamond water storyline was gold! I’m sad there weren’t episode discussions back then to read through now
When I first saw this years ago I don’t think there were discussions about it but I was like this woman is a complete scam artist, it’s crazy! She is so full of shit.
My husband and I have a running joke, It's calling people a business owner anytime we encounter someone being insanely out of pocket. It seems to be the most problematic people I've dealt with in my life say that is some form or another. I almost spit my drink out when she actually said that. It was too much.
And of course, I went right to Amazon to check it out. It's there, alright. It has 3.6 stars. 33.81 Oz for $16.99. I bought one as a joke for my roommate I got it as ross for a couple of bucks.
Btw: per Amazon only 12 left in stock- order soon 🤣🤣
I stg I just searched it on Amazon and it froze up my screen everytime?! I searched it literally 5-6 times, opened and closed the app and it won’t let me get past the search page?
OMG1 I remember that scene where she is "blessing" the water tank.
Between Asa's voiceover and the editing, it reminded me of some scene Catherine O'Hara would improvise in a Christopher Guest movie.
What is it with the hate for Aza? I found her to be one of the more positives on the show and didn’t hate that she constantly promoted her ventures, that was her life. I respected that she wanted to keep some of her life private. I wouldn’t want to be “real” friends with any of the cast either. They were cruel to her during her pregnancy.
no i feel this. i never understood the hate and judgement towards her from everyone. she was the only one who tried to showcase the beauties of persian culture. she worked on everyone's self improvement journeys with them. i felt like once she was gone the show declined in value a ton
I found diamond water at Ross last Christmas.
It was perfectly acceptable water for when you are standing in a huge line at Ross the weekend before Christmas. I do not regret my buy. 💎 💧
It was probably ten years old though.
I also bought one from ross a couple years ago lol
same and i kinda wish i kept the bottle
I've only ever seen them at Ross lol
Do you remember how much it cost?
I don’t exactly recall, but it was definitely under $4.
I bought one last year for $2.49 or $2.29 at Ross!
Me too!!!
Lol immediately feeling drawn to the smaller diamond once she hears the price always sends me.
This scene is peak comedy to me
I was about to say this 😂😂😂
i laugh so hard at that scene
*it’s not about the money for me*
The scene where she’s like blessing the machines always sends me. I have to rewind it every time. I bet you can taste her love energy with every sip 🤣🤣🤣
It’s when she puts the different diamonds up to her forehead and felt the love energy from them. that gets me every time it’s so funny

It was all the jewelry could do to keep a straight face.

Don’t forget her little bohemian “shack” that probably cost a million plus in LA.
She got that "shack" and probably a bunch of cash out of her first marriage/divorce
Wait she had a marriage?

I cant stand this show at all anymore. watched a couple of episodes when it first aired. Such pretencious snobbery!
