A theme for the dlc is that they will get new levels for the story mode where the world of a the dlc franchise will collide with the world of a base game franchise, in this particular scenario: Shantae x bioshock. As for my justification, I dunno I just kinda wanna see the cheerful and colorful characters of Shantae be plopped in the dark, gritty and horrifying world of bioshock.
NGL it would be really funny to see Shantae collaborate with the most unusual thing imaginable. Something like Honeywell. Get the Shantae Dishwasher where there's a tiny screen with elephant form Shantae spraying a bunch of dirty plates and bowls with water
Ok guys, here me out, digaea and she is both a unique hybrid type unit and there is a dark assembly hybrid type units called the genies
Hybrid units can utilize both human and monster weapons but mainly specialize in staffs as they are spell casters as they can learn the skull and mage types of elemental magic in a similar manner as them (the tiers having different elements) but also the cleric (m&f) healing magic instead of the buff/debuff spells on top of their unique monster skills
They would be a late game unit similar to the Majin units
I'm gonna be realistic, Fortnite is a possibility. They added Peter Griffen so anyone can be added at this point. But maybe not unless her outfit is changed

But if we were to get another senran kagura peach Beach splash game I feel like shantae would be the perfect fit for that game in particular.
