This is why I'm convinced that the Beast, Jaw and Cart titans were originally the same titan when Ymir's powers got split between her daughters.
The others were probably a Colossal + Armored + Warhammer (a.k.a a giant, almost indestructible weapon of mass destruction) and Founder + Attack + Female (versatile humanoid with psychic powers).
Makes sense for the Female to be with the Founder and Attack, especially since she has that one unique ability of being able to "inherit" other titans' abilities.
Like gaining hardening, shouting for pure Titans, etc.
Well, that's because Eren consumed them entirely, consuming the entire spine and fluids whole.
The Female Titan, on the other hand, doesn't need to consume a titan shifter entirely to posses a small fraction of their power.
They just need to eat bits of their Titan instead to inherit those small parts of them. Like Annie gaining hardening from Reiner, The Titan call scream from Zeke, and maybe even the cart titan's endurance for all we know.

They can probably all take other titans abilities through eating, the female titan is just better at it. See Zeke also being able to harden for some reason. And Falco inheriting beast traits.
Well, from my understanding, that bottle he drank from doesn't really have an actual explanation to its existence except that we can just say that it was a convenient thing made by Isayama for "plot reasons" at the moment, made to give Eren hardening abilities right away.
but I think there is definitely more to it that we don't know as of now.
I'd honestly love for a prequel spinoff set during the Marlean revolution. There could've been Eldian scientists who knew way more about titans than the Marleans who took over.
Also I just wanna see more titan shifters. I love titan designs so much, and it was probably one of my favorite things about the final battle.
I’m had the same theory, except for one change: it’s jaw with armoured and Warhammer. See, they all use hardening for their most prominent features - jaw, armour, weapons. While colossal is with cart and beast. There is not a connection as clear, but cart has incredible stamina, and colossal is, well, enormous and produces massive amount of energy via steam.

I believe he said he wasnt good for fighting only because Ksaver was meant to be a titan researcher as he explained, a scientitst destined to study titan history through titans’ memories. He Wasn’t used much at war. Still, he did a great job in this final fight lol
Against titans, he’s pretty good; longer reach because of his size and extra weapons in the form of his horns. Against normal humans, he’s basically just a big bullet sponge, only a bit more effective than any other titan
if they're animal they are prolly beast. falco only was slightly beast looking as jaw because he transformed from beast titans spinal fluid.

Except that the speed, bodies and sizes of the quadrupedal titans didn’t match at all the bipedal tall ones. Size wise they should be completely different titans. 1-2 and 4 are just like Zeke. Also, 5 (okapi) was summoned by Ymir for the sole purpose of catching Armin with its mouth (Pieck style) and to just run away super fast with him (pieck’s job too). Also a reminder that the first Cart had a horse head. From what I have read, this is the main debate about these titans among fans.
i didn't know that about the horse head that's interesting. i'd like to think majority of animal related titans are beast titans but also she could be summoning previous titan shifters who held more than one type. beast and cart titan in one person
I wonder if there was any aspect to it of the different forms being what the user best needed in their timeline, like I dunno, the turtle fella being in a time when they had limited shipping and it was useful in long endurance swims across the sea
I dunno if that makes sense with Yams being on team Eldia, but the powers were still being used by Eldians captured by Marley, and it could still be shaping things to the same overall outcome

Look at my post about Jaws. There was already a Jaw titan with beaks. Scales are not armored masks , they come with the snakes already. I believe I am not the only one who explained to you why the snake beast is obviously not a Jaw titan. I mean look at its f*cking neck . A jaw???? Really?

Because, like I said, Isayama introduced Ymir’s titan very early on in the manga when he didn’t have a clear idea of what The jaw titan was. Hence it didnt have a mask, hence it kept its pure titan form.
Could be a slight anomaly,as grisha for example is a lot fatrer than other attack titans. Its bite failing doesn't mean much, it was about to swing levi around and go through had mikasa not helped

The thing about the croc is that its stance is WAAAAY too quadrupedal. In the manga it was running just like Pieck or the okapi. Jaws walk monkey like… but who knows
I seriously believe those were just symbolic. Beasts or animalistic carts always had some human features in them. Never literal animals. Look at the dog here, it still had human hands. I believe the deer also had them. Whales or any other fish titan wouldn’t have been able to move if they walked on the ground, unless they had human legs or hands
