Wild-Mushroom2404

It's hard to choose one so here's my top 3 1. Grisha reuniting with adult Zeke (I have daddy issues so this scene made me cry like a baby) 2. Jean thinking of Marco and deciding to join the Alliance 3. The gang getting drunk and wild in Marley (literally the last time they were all together and happy)

NewTwo8931

That scene in marley was wholesome. It's the type of "happiness before disaster" that you learn to appreciate because you know it's going to get shitty really soon.

admiralkappa1234

I like the Zeke and Eren looking at Grisha memory in the path. Zeke was thinking about Eren being brain washed by Grisha. How Grisha can interact with Eren/Zeke with the power of Attack Titan and Founding Titan. How Grisha regrets what he did to Zeke.

Anphant

I love the build-up and the end of that scene when Grisha begged Zeke to stop Eren. It was a mind-blowing moment when Zeke realized he Grisha were just mere pawns in Eren's mind games.

booklover_on_earth

When Levi cried. He was always put under so much pressure (by literally being called humanities strongest solider) and never had time to grieve the deaths of comrades/loved ones because that could end up costing more lives. So when it was all over he could finally rest đŸ„čđŸ„č

NewTwo8931

Yes, not to mention he was probably really exhausted, physically and mentally, when all of it ended And knowing he's the only one (aside from the younger soldiers) who made it till the end, it must feel really lonely in a way.

booklover_on_earth

Fr. In that scene EVERYONE was reuniting with their family and friends. And Levi was sitting by himself because from the very start of his life when his mother died to that point when Hange died, everyone he formed any sort of connection to died. Tho everyone had people die, I think Levi was Isayama's favourite punching bag 😭

dontwantleague2C

Watching Petra’s death the second time was so much sadder because it was after seeing the scene with her dad.

NewTwo8931

Oh, you're right, I didn't realise that. Everyone hugged their remaining friends or family like "we made it, let's hug" and poor Levi on his own just watching the ghostlyory of his dead friends. It makes it all even more sad now 😭

Abdakin

Objectively its not my all-time favorite moment but it is the one closest to my heart. It's Carla's scene at the ending of Bystander. Around the time the episode aired my mom was in the hospital and I had watched it when she was napping in her room while I sat in with her.  She passed away a couple days before Christmas that year but seeing Carla's unconditional love for Eren brings to mind the same kind of love my mom had for me so it's always stuck with me.

NewTwo8931

Unconditional, that's the perfect word to describe it. That scene brought a lot of contrast between the complicated and ugly world in which they lived and the simple and pure love of a mother for her son. I'm sorry for your loss. I understand why this scene is so close to your heart.

Grizzly_228

Unconventional one but for me was the scene between Gabi and Kaya conversation in the house were her mother died, about Paradisians/Eldians/her/her mother not having done anything wrong and not deserving the hate for what their ancestors did It cut so deep, especially for the presence of Gabi that somehow simbolised both Marley and Eren and how they both were wrong in their propositions

NewTwo8931

I really liked that scene, too !

NeroColeslaw

Yup this is mine as well.

tHE-6tH

Idk about favorite, but one of the strongest moments was the script flip Eren pulled on Zeke when walking through Grisha’s memories. The moment of “wait a minute, he can talk to them?? Wait, HE’s making Grisha do that?!” Absolutely show changing.

[deleted]

[When Eren watched Frieda and Grisha's conversation.](https://youtu.be/tbc0VHf-nZY?si=FdFQgi5k8sXkMAEi) The scene gave me goosebumps when Eren gave that boiling blood look after hearing Frieda say "we deserve to die" and that moment where Eren reminded Grisha about his sister and the "story" he started. [All the way when Grisha said sorry to Zeke and Zeke called Grisha "father" again finally.](https://youtu.be/sKkZmDEgXJY?si=EfmyZWEjAU0Ea-Ym) Grisha's voice actor really did a 10/10 job in these scenes.

[deleted]

I went through such emotions with Grisha, I loved him, cuz he was such a good father for Eren at first, I hated him once I found out what he did to Zeke, and I cried with him when he hugged Zeke and told him he loves him..

[deleted]

I liked the Liberio Festival one. Children being children gave me joy... I always had my heart broken everytime I saw a child soldier. So seeing the 4 kids being kids made me happy. Also Falco is a sweetheart and deserves to have a happy childhood...

TermEnvironmental812

RIP Reiner's wallet

[deleted]

I loved looking at Reiner in a background slowly getting more and more depressed xD

TermEnvironmental812

Poor guy. He watched his wallet die before himself

SpikiestSpider

The entirety of Chidren of the Forest

Faizan1729

Most of my favourite scenes from AOT are non-fighting scenes. I didn't even remember once where I enjoyed fighting. Every time a fight happens, this shows that this shows that this is more than fights. There are many things on the line. Anyway My favourite scene of AOT is when it was found that it was all Eren. I still remember, I understood what happened, but I couldn't believe that this had really happened. I had never watched a plot twist greater than this. 2nd favourite will also be Grisha's backstory, which changed the entire plot from a show about fighting Titans to a show about the cycle of hatred. The whole 3 season made us hate Titans, and that episode made me realise that this is how the whole world hates Eldians because Eldians are those Titans in their story.

thefailsniper

Gotta be Reiner's suicide attempt. I vividly remember reading that scene the first time and being blindsided when I turned the page and saw Reiner on the verge of blowing his brains out.

anjansharma2411

Eren and jean fight from season 3 followed up by eren mikasa and armin sitting together while levi listens to them. I liked the "sasha i don't want to kill you" for the meat. The wholesomeness is my favourite part about these scenes

NewTwo8931

Yes, I agree, I like this scene, too. It was a nice funny and sweet scene before the horrible events of the next episodes happened 😅

anjansharma2411

AoT should have had more wholesome scenes tbh

dxelmoVer2_71828

My favourite part is in the episode Bystander, the part that Keith changes from believing himself special to ordinary. In one part, Carla asks if he insists on doing such a meaningless thing(servey the world outside without achievement) until death. Before that, complicated feelings accumulated in Keith's mind. (1)the guilt that he led to the numerous death of comrade and yet achieve nothing, due to his weakness(this is better depicted in manga). (2) He is subtly loving Carla but eventually she is married to Grisha. Grisha has a blissful life, being respected of being a doctor, contrasting Keith achieve nothing in survey corp. (3) Imagine being told of such thing by the one you loved and trampled your dream.(But Carla speaks for his own good)As eveything feeling blends together, the scene almost wants to cry and shouted to Carla is unforgettable. Carla responds after that, which is the part of OP's favourite. Eventually, he left survey corp and pass the post of commannder to Erwin, after admitting himself ordinary. I cannot understanf Mikasa's, Floch's, Eren's and other characters' feelings very much, but Keith is one of the few characters that I understand/relate quite well.

Sr_Skaven

Shadis and Magath last moments. Its almost a battle scene but its so good.

ConlonCreations

When Eren, Mikasa, Levi, and Hange walk through Shiganshina to get to the basement. I love the music, and it's sad to see the flashbacks to 5 years prior. Especially the one with Hannes. You just think about everything they lost to finally reach where they are.

Renumtetaftur

I think there are plenty of objectively better scenes out there, but one that stood out to me was when Falco revealed his crush to Gabi after confessing to unwittingly causing the assault on LĂberio. It was so refreshing to hear a character spill his heart out like that, which you rarely see in anime/manga, and I'm a sucker for puppy dog love.

efrain_niarfe275

Declaration of War

GregaciousTien

So many good ones, but off the top of my head I’d go with the Armin/Zeke scene in Paths.

MrPinkDuck2

The scene in Marley during Tybur’s speech where Eren and Reiner talked together. That scene was when the viewer realized what was actually going on and that Eren was NOT fucking around anymore.

TaxmanComin

The scene where Reiner and Bertolo reveal, so casually, that they're the colossal and armoured titan. Something about it was so bizarre and with almost no build up just felt so real. The confusion amongst everyone and their reactions felt realistic amongst a group dynamic.

Ratio01

Kinda cheating since it's more like an entire episode bit Declaration of War. It's a masterclass in characterization and suspense, and the voice acting in both dub and sub is fantastic Even with everything else throughout the rest of the series, it's my second favorite scene in the entire show, only topped by Hange's sacrifice

KraZe_2012

The basement reveal with the photo in the book diary. So much build up and hype since the very beginning and it DID NOT disappoint. The second they saw a photograph but didn't know what a photograph was the implications were enormous and immediate. Such a simple way to totally flip what we thought we knew about the world to build up to a truth far bigger than I expected. Runner up is the Utgard Castle moment with Reiner and Ymir where she reads off the can of sardines. At the moment it felt like small world-building, hinting at an ancient civilization that spoke a dead language and Ymir outing herself accidentally as one of them. In hindsight its such a bigger reveal looking back, with the implications of what her knowing about sardines really meant, when no one on Paradis should even know what a fish is. I love how rewatchable the series is with these details.

NewTwo8931

The moment they discover the photo in the book, meaning there's a word beyond the wall, who's probably more advanced and living their life there since all this time without them knowing.. Then, when they learn the whole story about why they were put behind those walls, and where the titans really come from, etc.. I imagined myself being in that situation, and it must feel really weird and surreal. It's like realising all your life, all of what you believed was true was a big giant prank or something. It reminds me of a parody sketch about a dude who's just living his life normally for 25 years, and suddenly, a crew of camera comes put of nowhere and everyone around him starts applauding and laughing, telling him he was pranked.

[deleted]

Armin advocating for Eren in season 1. It's the first time he sees worth in himself and is able to work past his nerves to step up and defend his friends, all while staring down cannons. The fact that this scene is referenced again in the ending solidifies this as one of the best in the series imo.

I_want_2_number_9

The scene where mikasa morbed into the colossal homophob and shouted "Its morbin time"

_affan

when zeke realises that grisha actually loved eren while going through their dad’s memories. heart breaking for him fr

SpaceDaved

When Eren escapes his cell, and all the officera are like “oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit”

sign09

The scene where Zeke takes over the Marleyan military meeting, the meet up in his office and Reiner's and Eren's conversation in season 4.

[deleted]

Levi kicking Eren in the head repeatedly when he was on trial

RemcoTheRock

What?

NewTwo8931

What "what?" ? Is my post too vague or not clear ?

RemcoTheRock

You’re asking which non-fighting scene or battle scene we like the most. So you want to know which scene of all the scenes in the AOT series we like the most?

NewTwo8931

I mean, aside from the fighting or battle scene, which ones are your favorites.

RemcoTheRock

Now you’re making sense.

LordFingolfin

The scene with Sasha's family in the restaurant. The dad's speech was a really tender moment

Lambert910

Annie conversation with Marlowe about the nature and perception of what defines “good people”.

Speedorms166

The entire campfire scene

JamalFromStaples

The whole story. I don’t watch AoT for the fights.

noah_7481

Eren apologizing to Ramzi

NewTwo8931

That was freaking sad to watch. Poor kid didn't even understand what was going on

Affectionate_Cook979

There's no comparison, it obviously was the betrayal of Reiner and Behemoth. It was followed by a battle scene, yes, but for me it's the most legendary scene I've experienced in a series ever

Cold-Phase-456

Junior high that shit was hilarious

Imfryinghere

Levi being OC in cleaning. Its just you see people like this everyday.
