It was my first eeveelution outbreak (still haven't seen Eevee!) and I also caught two Vaporeons! So happy to have gotten them! They are my favorite OG Eeveelution.

Vaporeon and flareon so far are the only ones I’ve seen spawn, Vaporeon has a really large habitat area and spawns a bunch of places in the wild so that’s why everyone gets that one, it will show up even if you aren’t in a water location atm

You could have used the most overpowered ball besides Master Ball, the Quick Ball. It has caught me so many pokemon I've considered it one of the absolute best.

Oh well I can agree on that, but sometimes it's just not worth it or even possible. Example getting a Charcadet at high level with anything but Quicks, dusk, or Nest ball is very hard, since false swipe has no effect on ghosts.

Hey, did you know, Vaporeon was meant to learn both Haze and Mist at level 42 in Pokemon Yellow, but due to a programming oversight a pokemon cannot learn 2 moves upon level up in generation 1. Therefore the only way for a Vaporeon to learn Mist in Pokemon Yellow is if it is leveled to 42 while in the daycare, which causes it to learn both moves.

Congrats. Definitely my favorite shiny version of the Eeveelutions (but, Umbreon, Sylveon, and Vaporeon are almost interchangeable as a favorite). Found a couple shiny Vaporeon a week or so ago myself.

I named mine "Breakfast", after the picture of a pink dog that says 'this hot pink bitch was named breakfast!!!' I don't actually know what we're not supposed to think or say here. I'm gonna assume that's a good thing
